I’m just finishing residency this summer, I have some thoughts on this. Mostly to not do it in med school- happy to share more:)

Former barista here! I will say that it can be overwhelming to learn all of the things (like any new job). But out of the MANY jobs I've had in my short life, I absolutely enjoyed being a barista. It was probably the only job that really didn't feel like a job to me. So, don't put to much pressure on yourself and give it a shot! :)
