I'm glad someone like him was able to survive to tell the story of the disaster from his perspective. This is a truly terrifying experience from his point of view. Thankfully he was able to live and return to his family.

Watching stuff about Chernobyl gives me chills beyond you could imagine... it actually feels like I’ve been exposed to radiation poisoning just researching it. I’m not kidding. (Don’t worry I don’t think I have radiation poisoning)

After watching this video, I really am never gonna complain about anything ever again

When this accident happened it spread mostly to a local city located in east of Sweden. The city I was born in an still lives in. My birth is in the year 1990. Many of my friends/classmates at the same age had older siblings that where exposed to the nuclear radiation. Young children at the time but some that never grew older than the age of seven due to a childs lack of protection against radiation. I don't really think that the Soviet Union knows how much their disgusting lies affected people outside and inside their nation. One major reason as of why I would NEVER trust the left in any shape or form. To me they are nothing but a brainwashed nation believing they are free not knowing that there will always be a leader ruling and controlling them. The only difference with the right is that they admit it.. So I stay firmly placed outside of this political chart, constantly pushed back by different "rules" and "obligations". Stories like the Chernobyl accident are the true testaments of how corrupt our world really is. While I still accept the accident and don't necessarily blame the workers, I could never accept our Nations way of keeping their worker-ants in check and not questioning the system without consequences. There is no Free-Speech as an example. It's just an empty phrase used to bring hope to the people. But when you really utter yourself you get attacked and shut down. RU-vid and its restrictions is another example. Disobey their political views and you will get shut down, an outcast and removed from recommendations and any other way we usually find content.

There were two explosions, the first was a "small" one, which opened all of the graphite to oxygen, which then made a bigger explosion
