tip; find a font that you want to be your handwriting, then make a practice sheet and print it out. then, put a sheet of wax/parchment paper over the printed one and write on the wax. saves so much time and materials!
I feel you 😂💀✌ And I'm trying to write more readable but whenever my mom looks at my notes she's like "Yea you know you should write a little bit bigger! What are those little things?" or says stuff like "You write to big! Write a bit smaller! You know you should write like in between! Like medium!" And I'm like " Woman im in class! Nobody waits for me! And I'm not like WAIT I DIDNT DO THAT LETTER LIKE THIS OMG and erase it and stuff im like You know what...Its OK" and just highlight
my one old classmate had so bad handwriting that she could not read it even herself. we once had to write dialogues in english class and when it was her turn to read hers with her partner, she literally could not tead anything what she wrote
i have bad handwriting that even I can't understand. One day, my teacher called me infront of the whole class (because the teacher was checking our notebooks) she had my notebook in her hand, she said something bad abt my handwriting and that no one could ever understand it bla bla bla my handwriting is still the same, I haven't changed it, (i forgot how to write some letters in cursive tho-) i want to have better handwriting now

Ameerah Jiffri sorry about the upcoming rant but i’m a nerd lol. the three types of learners are visual(have to see things to learn them), auditory(have to hear things to learn them), and tactile(have to move and feel things physically to learn them). You can be just one of these types of learners or you can be multiple. I personally am all 3 lol
Harmony ofc everyone should take notes but making them look nice after school won’t help you learn if you’re learning style isn’t suitable for it. you’ll just be wasting your time and i think that’s what the og commenter meant
Same, when I try to do them neatly, it takes way too long and then the lesson is over. But then when I do them fast with more information, I feel ashamed of my bad handwriting! 😕
@@ashley0980 write your messy notes during class and then after words rewrite them in a more neat and readable format! This help with remembering what you wrote, because you are writing it twice and help with studying in the future because your notes will be super neat and nice for you to study :). Hope this makes sense I'm not good with english :D

Reading the comments, I realized a lot of you are struggling with your handwriting. So I just wanna say something. Don't give up just yet. I used to have the worst handwriting ever hahah but then I started practising to make my handwriting better and now, my handwriting often get praised by teachers and friends
You see, I am extremely motivated lately and it's the middle of summer break for me.. I'm watching these videos because they actually prove entertaining for me and I'm not sure if I should be concerned or grateful for this spurt of motivation :P

I just realized that we have the same style of writing notes. I always do calligraphy for the titles, and then highlight my sub topics. I also only use 2 bullet points, exactly like how you do it. I love to draw boxes around formulas because most of the time, they are long and I don't want to highlight the whole thing. I also put sticky notes to write a few important extra information, so that it stands out more.The only difference is that I don't use a lined paper, because for some reason I can't absorb information if I write my notes on lined paper. So, instead I wrote mine on a blank white A4 Paper, and that's how the game changes. Just a simple switch on the type of paper that I used. But now I'm looking to change it to a grid line paper for aesthetic purposes. I'm hoping it'll work because I bought a lot of grid line notebooks and this thing costs money :3 But if it doesn't, I guess I'll have to stick with blank papers
I recently started making a sort of front page for each chapter. On this page I write a simple overview of the chapter (subjects, points of interest and random info). I also put a big box which I call my mind box, in this I write little reminders, things I find difficult (so I can revise later), amd keywords. I do this so I can make neat notes at home and actively listen to the class. During the class I write keywords and concepts down in my mindbox and at home I pull up the presentation and make neat notes. This way I get to revise the entire class and study at the same time. Also I get inspiration and motivation from making neat notes☺️ I only started doing this this year, and I can already notice the effects on my grades!
No, I really only use one pen with blueback ink, it’s a fountain pens so highlighters don’t work well at all and really, to make something stand out I just write ALL CAPS

ik its not necessary to do pretty notes, but i think it motivates me to actually write notes and add to my page rather than just watching a video or reading a book.
