Tip 1: Summary At the end of every page read, try to close your eyes and recall what was written on that page Tip 2: summary At the end of each chapter/lecture, try to quiz yourself for a few minutes on the content that you have gone through. Tip 3: Summary Make sure you understand the content and you are not merely just recognising the information.
Truth cos I really find me distracting myself every time i have to study and I get scared too ,I’ve been beating myself to study and pass do well in my examinations and test
Thanks a lot for this! It's good to know that I dont need to study for 14 hours a day. I'm actually focusing more on taking care of my mental health, so I can study a lot better.
Thanks for these kinds of video! I am a top student in my school and I feel pressured how am I gonna keep up since I lost my motivation on the past weeks. I'm really thankful that content creators like you actually help students like us.
I am in the exact same situation. In the last exam I performed very bad, in the past I usually had no mistake in that kind of exam. It is very strange. I lost my entire motivation, I don't know how.
Hey, here’s a great tip…of course I’m going to be bias but this works for most students….listen to lofi quietly in the background. Lofi contains technical flaws such as distortion, hum etc which can trigger the cerebrum and can help a student focus on a test. The brain picks out the differences in sound and in turn helps it get into a mindset of focus.
The asking question is actually pretty good...i used to actually ask myself questions and then would explain it resulting in making that topic strong and clear to myself and the one am not able to answer it gives me more space to think about it ....
This is why face to face classes are better for me. I can easily incorporate these in that set-up (never even realized that I did) but by learning everything by myself even with all the sources on youtube, I could never.
Keep it up buddy, and thank u for this great advice..... its really changing my life in a proper manner.........., its helpful for me to focus well on my studies, work and environment....., I really tend to study well by observing stuff.....🙂😁🍻
Hola, hoy te conoci en skillshare y no hablo ingles. estoy con los subtitulos pero tienes una voz tan clara y firme que decidi entrar a tu canal de youtube. Felicitaciones y muchas gracias por tus enseñanzas.😃
Totally loved the video it is so so informative and useful 👏👏 probably i feel your videos are so underated it should reach millions of audience as your content in the video is actually the best
i am from malaysia ur vids r helping me for maths from 66 to 81 percent in just one month i am looking to do better but this is a very good start thank you
Thank you for this video it helps a lot . I have tried many things but it won't work for final exams, I figured out that I only memories the concept ,I don't understand concept . With this kind of videos it motivates alot to study more in a effective way.
Learn vs Memorize is someting that we really need to address more. In school, a lot of the time we memorize the content and get away with it with tests and HW. However, it is not convenient to have this habit when you are in the more competitive parts of your scholarly career. Either way, one of the best that has worked with me is how we can teach others as it forces us to KNOW and LEARN what we have seen.
@@kls4life1698 Tbh my parents would think I became crazy. I just explain to myself while I get free time. Kind of how you speak of yourself when rote learning (I don't rote learn now)
To the *incredible person* that's seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.
First time watching this video, and I have been doing this all my life. It's like you can read your mind. Drawing diagrams, writing notes in my own words is the best.
Thanks for helping me and is greater than helping me as a High School student! The only thing is that I'm always not getting the motivation to study. When I didn't have motivation, I can't study. Mike, One Video for How to gain motivation when you are unmotivated!
In 4 months are my big exams and have been studying for 12 hours still have the worst grades now i have anxiety and cant focus i hope i get over this dark time i need to get my life together
1. Ask questions 2. Test yourself frequently 3. Understand and learn 4. Feynman a) Simplify and teach concepts to the extreme b) Observe which parts you can and can't explain well
I am developing a method where I look at the course outline, look at the lesson outline pick through the topics, read up watch videos then do exactly what the lesson outline says I should be able to do at the end of the sessions.
I will see more and i will try best this time, all of thime i study but mine marks ‼️ not come good (my struggles 🥲by see your i will improve and i will believe in myself ✨)
I was studying for months on the military placement test (asvab) and I studied on all the math concepts that were on the test but I still failed, and I feel lost
🤧🤧🤧😭😭😭😭I had STUDIED so long but my marks were surprising lower than before and I was SHOCKED! I quickly called my friends (they're toppers lol) and they told me that I THE WRONG WAY! They told me things that you mentioned in the video (thank you so much! ppl need to know cuz not many talk about it) : 1. I didn't have to break my head just *memorizing* stuff. I was just passive reading and then repeating only the important points stressfully over and over. I had to understand, write a question beside the text, and instead of repeating it over and over, I had to *read the whole text again in a few days* (yes, the whole text again so I remember the little points that I ignored). Reading the text again and again is important, BUT in few das gap to I remember it long term and know what I forgot and remember those little points too! And oh, the keywords (aka words that help explain a concept better) will sit on your tongue if you read the text again and again. 2. Do some practice papers with solutions! Prepares you to write and explain the answer better! I realized that this was the exact way I studied when I was in class 5 and got near perfect scores! I had dropped spaced repetitions cuz I was lazy to go over the long chapters again after a few days. Gonna do it again and I really hope I improve. My motivation had dropped completely when I recently got my marks but this time I'm gonna nail it. From now. Wish me luck!
how do you study with high focus, if there is no place where you can study quietly? even in my bedroom i hear my family every 10 seconds on the other side of the door
Can you make video on how to study for a slow learner Actually I forget what I read after some time and it's not possible to revise me 4-5 time . I have to revise all chapter I read and it's hard to do it in less time and also I forget the concept the definition when I have exam in 1-2 days Please make video or give me a solution 🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏 I am your subscriber 🥺🥺🥺
