Mike is eloquent. You are a great teacher. Thank you for sharing these amazing tips. Surrounding yourself with experts and knowledge is a game-changer.
Great tips. People need to be forward thinking and always learn the latest to get ahead of the crowd. I know a man who likes reading old books. He keeps computer manuals from the 1980s & 90s. Don't think referring to old knowledge that has become obsolete would get him very far.
Right now I am reading, "Zero to one", I didn't really had a habit of reading at all, and I was everything but a reader, I started by reading fictions that got me into habit of reading and now I have stopped finding fictions interesting from when I have got the taste of non-fictions and business books, I read almost 110 pages in one day while traveling, book was in my hand, and I kept reading in taxi and trains, it felt great that I actually have attained this habit. And the amount of information I have right now I couldn't have really attained if it wouldn't have been for books. By the way I would love to have some suggestions on business books if you end up reading this comment guys. Thank you!
I could love to see videos about what you are learning and I really think explaining the information you are learning will help you understand everything on a deeper level and help thousands of us
Really Well Edited Video, Good Script, and Nice Use of real Life Examples too. and I also loved the color balance of the video. you guys must be putting a lot of effort into making these videos. thank you so much for such content! @ProjectElon

Man this is a masterclass itself. Thank you so much for this. I have always been interested in more than one topics and obviously its impossible to go to uni for every course. So, I shifted towards self-learning and this will surely level up my learning. Thank again.
Surround yourself with knowledge And experts Study actively Ask yourself questions Actively engaging with what you are reading Write down key points Focus on the exact topics Eg, how ethereum works Prioritize topics Focus on most important topics Have a purpose Read books Read biographies
Hey Mike! You mentioned that you'll be learning about the metaverse for about 3 months, so can you tell from where will you grasp all this knowledge , because I'm too interested in these kinds of stuff but idk where to start from.
When you say sign out all non-relevant topics and ''dial focus'' on your area of interest, what are your thoughts on this quote? ''Try to learn something about everything and everything about something'' - Thomas Huxley (English biologist)
Your first point is so true....I was also wandering and analysing that the most knowledge I have about a topic or which I still know is all what I have talked to people about that topic... weather it's a hard name or place name, on the other hand when I read or watch a video...even a slightest knowledge takes a lot of hardwork...
Sorta relate to this, there are times when I remember certain vital information word by word, as it was written in any book or article etc., and I used to attribute it to having some kind of eidetic memory but I guess the sponge effect is a more apt explaination to this.
To the *incredible person* that's seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.
Can you post vedio on communities around the globe that will give us (students) an exposure to the world & ultimately help a person to grow (as you said in your vedio to surround myself with people who have same goal as me, I religiously follow the rule but)...... I cant seem to connect during pandemic. P.S. every time I watch one of your vedios I fall in love with them even more.
*Move forward no matter what people think Who don't cry when you die you. They don't get as deeply sad as your parents. This needs to stop you from living with the opinions of others. Stop that*
I wanna know how do you manage your workouts routine if you do with study😭😭i get so tired after a workout that i cant focus on studying anymire even if i have a few time left. And i cant divide my time because i have school from 6 am where i have tk wakeup at 5 am to get ready and come back from school at 4 a clock 😭😭😭

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:55 📖 *Reading technique vs. strategy: While the technique of reading quickly is important, the strategy becomes more crucial for difficult texts. Strategy involves how to structure your learning and set up your reading to make it more efficient.* 02:30 🚀 *Importance of grouping words: Grouping words together is a highly effective reading technique for academic texts. By grouping words, you can increase the amount of information taken in at once, making reading more efficient.* 05:49 🔇 *Subvocalization as a tool: Subvocalization (reading words silently in your mind) is not necessarily a bad thing. It can be used strategically, especially in areas of dense information processing. The goal is to turn it on and off as needed for effective reading.* 11:25 🧠 *Strategic processing breaks: Taking short breaks between reading sprints allows for the brain to process information, predict what might come next, and reduce cognitive load. This enhances reading efficiency and understanding.* 17:31 📚 *Practical tips for extended reading: Adjusting the format for a narrow field of view, using a gray background, and minimizing eye strain can help preserve reading stamina during prolonged reading sessions.* Made with HARPA AI
Hey elon. Im at my 7th grade and after not even studying i had to study really hard for my exams. I had a problem and that was that i couldnt focus on anything that i read and all that. You know when i think about going to university and studying for 8 hours a day i fell really bad and i feel that its really hard to do that. My mother tells me not to think about them but i just cant. Like its really hard for me. Whenever i think about studying i feel that its the hardest thing in the world. What do you think i should do?
Hi @Hami Ummm... I remember being bothered about studying at that stage too - My mum also told me an average university should study 8 hrs and I barely did 30 mins But now... I could for really long periods like 8 hrs, But that's not important for you right now ... Start small 2hrs a day, here's how... First, if you've been listening to what Elon says about studying it's not about the amount of time... It's about efficiency- focus ,concentration Try to fix times when you can study... You want to lock yourself in a room or something or in isolation... Avoiding every distractions... With your singular purpose to understand what you're studying Put in all your focus and energy into it... And when it seems your energy levels is dwindling (perhaps after 30 - 40 mins), take a short break(5 - 15 mins.) During your break, you want to do something unrelated to what you're studying ... So you can come back refreshed If you continue and make this a habit, there's no limit to how far you can go Good luck Hami, wish you all the best😊
i feel like i drifted away fom what i was doing. i know i have changed a lot. i miss my old me. dont know how to get bac to old me. feeling like a useless piece of shit.
I'm trying to know about Metaverse too, ok this might seem silly, but to understand the Virtual Reality part, Mr Mike, I would really suggest you to watch Sword Art Online S1, it explains it best indirectly with even Biological link with Vr
my 2 cents: I improved my learning and quality of life of at least 300% when I have banned: social media, disabled mobile notifications, stopped watching tv (extremely toxic) and tv series, stopped playing videogames, porn and faps all banned. Substituted all with: good books, online courses (some paying, you are more motivated), good sleeping (books help on this), a bit of social isolation except for only some interesting/smart guy that are very important to keep in touch. Be curious, passionate, don't do what majority do, cultivate your imagination, be always extremely positive, search God as he is the source of wealth and wisdom... In the beginning it seems hard, but soon it will become an habit.
I am really interested about learning bout NFTs, crypto, metaverse etc. But I really don't know the platforms from which I can gain the knowledge other than news articles and podcasts, but these don't have detailed information. It would be really helpful if you suggest a few platforms to gain knowledge from. Thank You.
