I think it is very cool that this gen actually made snow/hail viable and gave us a great ice pseudolegendary on top. Talking about Baxcalibur, it does look kinda scary for your team, not only because it can use your weather against you, but it seems like you don't have a whole lot to hit it back that would not be at risk of taking a heavy hit in return? Pretty sure this is one of the exploitable weaknesses? Also, best of luck for requalifying, it was great news to hear that you actively play competitive again, wouldn't want to have that ruined by such nonsense.

How can a company of this size be so unorganized? Not only the game is of embarrassing quality but everything else around it as well... I wish the best of luck to you. All your videos are very good and very educational, you not only talk about how the game has evolved “but you also talk about the problems of the game that the game currently faces 👍.

Adi had a compelling theory of what happened here. There were recent complaints of matchfixing and drop out last time this format was used and quite a few of these problems do help in that regard though they are still horribly implemented and create way too many more problems on their own. Perhaps this was something in the works that got pushed too early due to demand. I am unsure of what the environment within TPC is like but Gamefreak is a controlling entity within it. I think it is likely that Gamefreak is in a state where they are overwhelmed at the moment between Home integration prep, the new raids, bug fixes and the DLC. I expect more failures like this if the other two controlling entities of TPC continue to pressure their devs assuming there is any pressure at all.

I find it baffling that internationally we have a pretty well thought out way to qualify (albeit money-gated with travel costs being stupid) and in Japan its still the volatile Bo1.

Seems like only America and Europe have a good competitive seen with proper qualifications and regionals, the game is Japanese you would think they would have a better scene over there

Best of luck qualifying again. Honestly pretty astounding how bad this company handles literally everything. The game is unfinished, Home still isn't supported this long after release in addition to just being a really bad and overpriced service, and the management of events like these is utterly incompetent.

Okay so after just 10 minutes I gotta sum this up real quick: In order to, well, meet your human needs to stay healthy/alive aka freakin eating, drinking water or going to the toilet, you had to gamble on the game not counting a loss against you when shutting down the game, for 6 hours - in a tournament that has NOTHING to do with the tournament you are in the end gonna qualify for in terms of format at all (open vs closed team sheet, online vs offline, random ladder vs swiss/double elim/any other proper torunament structure, BO1 vs BO3 or BO5)? And still people act like GAME FREAK are the ones who don't care for VGC? Oh and DC doesn't count you a loss? So without you getting into that, I can already tell that for sure a bunch of people basically qualified by "accidentally" unplugging their router or modem or whatever every single time they were about to lose as sson as someone found that out.
