DYI #2 - That is a very cool thin shadow box frame. I like the way you painted it and then accented the applied decoration. I love antiques and especially antique gold leaf frames.....the old ornate Victorian kind and ones from the early 1900's. They are beautifully artistic pieces of art themselves......almost better than the print inside them. I also collect antique paper Valentines. This would be the perfect frame to use for framing them to hang on the wall. When I saw you open the front, I immediately thought of using it for these wonderful Victorian Valentine art. You gave me a great idea! Thanks.

Yes for that shadow box, Hang jewelry. Put some wire across to hang wire earrings. Or drape ribbon across slanted to hold items like cards etc

I love color! I have never owned a sewing machine but I love watching those who do and those ruffles were so pretty, I sure wish I had learned to sew now. Everything you made turned out so great and I think you picked the right woman for that vintage looking frame, so pretty!

You should learn to sew...I find it very relaxing. I didn't learn to use power tools until I was 60...so it's really never too late to learn a new hobby. 😊

Ok I'm subscribed..I like your kind voice. I have a suggestion for the lamp shade which I love by the way. Cutting strips of material and tie them horizontally from top to bottom, making a cool knot at the bottom 😊. Loved all the projects!

Great idea....use LED bulbs to keep the material safe from the heat. Incandescent bulbs can get pretty hot.

All I can say is wow! Everything you made is beautiful. I was introduced to shabby chic and antiques when I was maybe 7 or 8 yrs old. I love anything in this style. Lately, I have been obsessed with upcycling vintage things from the thrift store and these projects are right up my ally. I love the picture frame. After not doing any sewing for years, I pulled everything out and made Christmas Tree napkins...and I realized how much I enjoyed it and now everyone in my family has Christmas Tree napkins lol.....yes, you should get back to it!❤️😊.

Wrap macrame cord around the shade , starting at the top , wrapping the cord around each ru g until u get to the bottom

Which dremel tool did you use? I looked on the Harbor Freight website and got confused. I've never used one before, but I see a reason to buy one. 😃

I couldn’t find my exact one on Harbor Freight but this would be comparable….www.harborfreight.com/07-amp-rotary-tool-kit-80-piece-58999.html. Mine is probably 10 years old. Hope this helps!!

I think the frame would have worked well by itself instead of keeping the stand. You could even hang it on the wall
