Just leave it to the women to explaing everything perfectly. Bless you. I must have watched 12 videos in the last 2 days and everyone shows what equipment to use but no one actually explains what to do with the equipment. What wires go where, what connects to what how to set it up. Finallllly. Thank you.
That's great! I'm curious to check how different configurations on Go Pro would work at a similar setup, just like other ISO options or shutter speeds. BTW, I do appreciate your tips.
Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. I've been wondering whether the GoPro would suffice as a regular live streaming camera. Still wondering though if it would be better quality than the camcorder I currently use?
Hello my friend and fellow Livestreamer, I'm Jeff and I actually picked up the GoPro 9 Black recently myself and I am literally watching these sort of videos because we do all our shows live on The MCU'S Bleeding Edge and I am already using the 9 Black for some short promotional/ advertising type vids but I have been able to figure out for the life of me how to actually use this GoPro on my streamyard platform through a MacBook Pro. Lol. It is frustrating, I have the GoPro listed as a recording source or option when I click on my streamyard settings and go to switch from Webcam/ device to a different angle/ device, but when I select it all I see is a blacked out shot on my laptop, and I simply cannot figure out if I need a app or software or something in order to actually connect the GoPro to my MacBook Pro and be able to live with it. Before I grabbed the 9 Black I had always used AKASO 4k sports cameras for this sort of thing, and I still do actively employ my current AKASO Brave on a mini tripod on my desk as a another cool angle shot of myself during our live shows, it gives me a very wide shot compared to all my Logitech webcams that I have set up for streaming, and the video quality is solid considering the Brave only costs I believe around 145-160 tops, and there are actually cheaper versions of them that also can be used for streaming and they essentially give you almost exactly the same video quality as my Brave. But honestly setting up the Brave for a stream took less than a minute lol, so that is also a plus lol. I can already see the major difference in clarity and overall color richness and just better clearer video with the 9 Black compared to this cheap knock off AKASO. Now as far as your question with a camcorder I actually recently found out that apparently my Canon VIXIA rf800 camcorder can be used for Livestreaming, but again, have not been able in a few attempts to get it to actually work. What type of camcorder are you currently streaming with if you don't mind me asking? How hard was it for you to actually set up your camcorder for living, or did you have no issues with it? I had never even considered adding a camcorder to my Livestream set-up until just recently ( maybe less than two months ago) and I am sort of interested in seeing how that VIXIA would look on my MacBook and in the Actual videos off the lives, it's a decent recording device for possibly a first time creator or someone looking to go the cheap route with their videos, it accepts a external mic and the different lens available to use with it are pretty affordable compared to the ones that go with my Canon M-100, or my M-50, I just was wondering what type you are using and how it is working out for you.
This is a really helpful video great job. May I ask what model Sony camera your using because I love the quality of the Sony. I'm looking to set up a 3 camera production and wanted to know what switcher would be best for having 3 cameras into obs
Thank you ❤ finally someone who explains how to go live in a logical way 😊 I am trying to use 3 gopros to go live with an Atem Mini Pro switcher and it has been a challenge. 😢 Back to the kitchen 🎉
it took me 2-3 days of sporadic google searches & YT vid scanning to figure out how to get the clean HDMI screen on the Hero 10 for my streams... great vid!
@@cassambezzi2867 I can't remember if the poster touched on it in her vid, but I did a post after figuring it out.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RAjPmT8mZ2I.html thought it would be helpful as there weren't obvious instructions for it... GLHF!
great vid but what I dont get is why youtube says when i create a live stream and click on the web cam tab it always says my camera is already being used by another app and i cannot use it
The problem I have encountered with my GoPro used for streaming while connected to a power bank is that the GoPro heats up a lot and gives me some kind of error and resets the fov to super wide.
bro hands down this is the best video i have seen so far and ty verymuch for this masterpiece im also going to use this setup for reaction videos but can you please let me know if this setup will work with a gopro hero 10 black + obs cuz i have a gopro hero 10 black i have camlink i just dont have media mod right now please let me know if that will work :)
Afternoon... Seems kinda complicated since I'm a complete beginner with the Go Pro. I just now received the Hero 12 Black "Creator Edition," from Amazon. Will setting it up to use on Zoom be any easier? It has to be a better picture quality than the webcam on my Lenovo laptop? Enjoyed this, thanks...
Can you use a 4 or 8 hdmi to USB block and multiple cam links capture card to multi cam. How do you switch the video feed with out an external switcher like the black dragon or osee Gostream?
@@farmboypresents9977 Honestly that's tough for me to say in this example since I mostly used it for behind the scenes at sports in a multi cam setup. I'd run a few tests(?) Sorry I can't fully answer
@MissJill please, what apps can I use to stream using gopro5 on android phone apart from using gopro subscription. I previously used live4gopro, but it seem to not work those days. Greetings from Nigeria
Hey, love the channel. I'm a pro flooring installer and would like to start live streaming on tiktok mounting the GoPro on top of my head somehow, and just going through flooring installation so my viewers can see it all live... my biggest concern is the battery life and the whole process of streaming, please get back to me or make a video how to live streak on tik tok always moving around and working with your hands!! Because I can't find any info on that or how to make that idea work!! THANK YOU
Thank you so much for this video. I’d love more utility from the GoPro, because I’m terrible with dropping things. Appreciate the power bank tip. Changing the battery in the media mod every 20 minutes is a nightmare
you mentioned hockey! we want to use a gopro as a wireless 2nd camera behind the goalie on a hockey livestream w OBS. any tips and is the stream latency a problem?
Hey Andy! I LOVED using GoPros for this. I'll try to drop a link. I ended up using them WIRED as the internet connection was rough in the rink. But you could use a wireless transmitter and the latency would be minimal(?)
Wondering is it possible to do the same out side the house using the roaming data on phone as wifi to my gopro and live stream my fitness, reason why go pro and not phone is cos phones steady cam is'nt near as good as go pro yet?
Why do you need an HDMI cable? I mean, if I just want to use the GoPro as a webcam, all I want is just the camera streaming to RU-vid. I don't need to see what's coming from camera on my laptop screen. Are you saying you MUST use an HDMI cable?
My live stream from hero10 RU-vid screen stuck with “waiting for “channel name” and stream didn’t start, while copy on sd card is ok. Will you please help me?
You can stream directly through the app BUT I like to pull it in via HDMI and plug it into my computer or streaming device. I do a ton of livestreaming, but hardly ever through my phone. Hope that helps!
I have the Hero 10 and have the Camlink for clean HDMI to my Hackintosh Mac Pro 2009 modified with 2 3.33 I7 CPU's, 48 gig Ram, asus graphics card, and 4T storage. To me the missing link is external power. I use my GoPro outside a lot and to be honest, I am not lovin the onboard batteries that it came with. Thanks for the Video!
@@Ambientes There is no real correct spelling but it refers to a unsupported computer altered from its original configuration set forth by the original manufacturer. Apple really doesn’t want you changing your computer (which voids warranties) in anyway without their approval and that seldom is the situation. By adding after market (not from Apple) upgrades, you are changing the computer much like the Marry Shelley book “ Frankenstein” but it’s a Mac. My computer although 14 years old, has the ability to preform tasks rated for a high-end model costing thousands. My computer cost me about $600 in total.
GoPro is the most difficult to work with piece of equipment I have in my arsenal. I often will just bring my phone rather than go through the hassle of the gopro. Such awful software. Nothing works well. The web cam function worked for 2 days for me.
