found this because i'm searching for how people use planners for gardening. i want to start a garden and have a potentially spare planner, which is the TN Common Planner. if i can't sell it, I was thinking of using it for this. very cool! i'm in east texas so the precip will be similar to what you showed.
I'm actually going to use a TN Common Planner for my Garden Journal for 2024! I will have a set up video coming soon, if you are interested 🥰 But, if you decide to sell it, I'm sure there is a demand!
What resource do you use for your temperature info? Do you fill it out the day after so you get accurate highs and lows? I’ve attempted a garden planner before and got way too overwhelmed!
Great question! I usually fill out my temp tracker at night after the day has pretty much finished (around 8-9pm) or even at the end of the week, so I have a somewhat accurate guideline. I know the temps may be off by a couple of degrees but it doesn't bother me very much. For my resource, I use the Weather Channel app on my phone, or whatever they say on the weather channel on TV, if I am doing updates daily. If I do updates weekly I like to use Weather Underground www.wunderground.com/history. Garden planners can be overwhelming but I find that having them as a reference for my future gardens has been very beneficial!
Love this so much! I’m inspired to start a planner for my yearly garden this end of August/early September… I hope I can do it!! (I’m pretty busy with other new happenings in my life, so not sure if I’ll be able to set up this garden planner this year, but if not this year, then the next one for sure). Thanks for the video!💚 Would love to see more of your garden planner here or on your instagram!😊
Thank you! A garden planner is a great tool for all the fun flowers and veggies you can grow :) Don't feel pressure to start one this year if you're slammed for time, I have weeks where my garden planner is just the same tasks over and over hehe. I will try to share more on my garden planner on my platforms, this fall should have some fun things!
