Thank you for posting this. I was struggling to create IG images that "fit" their format. For some reason, all my images were zoomed in too far. Now I know how to fix them.
Finally found what I was looking for (Canvas tool in GIMP)...Subbed...thank you! Any idea how to do this for a batch of images? We post images of products on various social media platforms(small business) and we're facing issues with insta... You can take a look at images in our FB & Insta pages to see what I mean... FB: facebook.com/vvtenali -> pics look okay Instagram: instagram.com/vvtenali -> cropped pics don't look so good sometimes :( Any help is welcome...thank you, once again! :)
I'm glad you found the video useful! Apologies for the late response. There are some online tools that claim to do batch image cropping / uncropping. One tool is www.birme.net/ Otherwise I'd recommend photoshop for the task. Batch processing could be done in Gimp, but it would be ineffective.
