So many things to say after watching this: 1. Tan looks amazing and there is no blunder to apologize for! 2. makeup is incredible! Can't wait to try the highlighter on my eyelids. 3. How do you get a turtleneck on without ruining your makeup? 4. What hoops are in your 1st and 2nd holes? Mejuri? 5. Have you tried the makeup by Mario ultra suede lip liner and his new lip balms? Would love to see your opinion on them.

Old t-shirt over the face, then pop the turtleneck on (or any shirt)! Just started doing this and can't believe how well it works!

Hey, if you don't want make up on your turtleneck you need to flip your hair to the front so it covers your face and then put on the turtle neck. It glides on and the hair protects the make up! Works everytime for me!!

I agree. With tints and light foundations, I think they look far better when you apply them using the warmth of your hands. For fuller coverage, then a brush or sponge is essential. It depends on the product I’m applying.

They sometimes carry Tatcha at Costco, which is a nice option if you're looking to try things for a little bit cheaper. I've been loving their stuff as well recently with my dry skin!

Try a tubing mascara instead! No transfer even without powder and it comes off with warm water!!:)

If you don’t like how hard waterproof mascaras can be to remove but don’t want racooning, try using a tubing mascara instead. I’ve been using the Thrive Causmetics mascara for that exact reason and I love it.

Allana the bronze glow looks awesome....... Although I wanted to tell you that if you want long lasting mascara without it being as abrasive to wash off as waterproof mascaras are you can try tubing mascara. They give waterproof mascara effect minus the trouble to wash off.

Beautiful! Love this look! A girlfriend of mine had an issue with her eyes watering and she saw an ophthalmologist and he said her eyes were dehydrated which is why they kept trying to produce tears… he said use hydrating eye drops… might be something to look into.

For mascara try the Hemish smudge stop mascara, it is a tubing mascara that doesn’t irritate the eyes, and i have very sensitive eyes and skin 😁

I saw the Caliray mascara is available on Sephora Canada as of recently. It's supposed to be a volumizing tubing mascara, it might help with the racooning while still being easy to take off.

I blame you.. I bought that d@mn merit cream blush in cheeky, as well as the Milk makeup cream blush in Rally And hoola glow bronzer 😂and I’ve been LOVING them I never would’ve gone for that shade in the merit blush, normally. I avoid mauves and stick to pinks and light peach blushes only, but it looked so good every time you wore it and I love it!

Hi Alana, the look is beautiful. I have a question for you… why so much concealer? Your skin is beautiful and maybe I’m old I just don’t see what you are covering? I get highlight and contour and that may be your purpose. I always wonder when I see that technique if it’s a coverage issue do you want more coverage. I mean absolutely ZERO CRITICISM, just a question. Btw if you are looking for a stellar waterproof mascara I am die hard for Chanel Le volume. 😘😘 much love to you.

Gorgeous!!! Have you tried the Glossier mascara? It is the only mascara I have used that doesn't ever give me raccoon eyes. I love it!💃 It is a very natural look. Sometimes I want a heavier mascara, so I am on the hunt for more non-raccoon mascaras that can handle all the lotion serums and oils I put on my skin!

Most people don’t know tatcha dewy serum is a chemical exfoliating serum and should be used at night only a few times a week and work your way up

i finally picked up the mini versions of the benefit hoola bronzer and the porefessional setting spray, to try it out. Needless to say that i am deeply in love with both of them and how they look and feel on the face! Definitely gonna pick up the full size, they did not disappoint 😭❤️

Try a tubing mascara before going full waterproof! I find they last way better than traditional formulas but are a dream to remove! Velour has an amazing one.

Love the video, as always! I’ve been loving my CCC-cream from CLE. I think you would love it too! It’s just the perfect amount of coverage, leaves a ”lit from within glow”, has SPF 50 PA +++ and can work both as a primer but also a lighter foundation (which is how I use it). Love all the way from Sweden 🇸🇪

Quick request, could you do a “best cool-toned pink blushes” much like you did with your hunt for the best orange lip color? 💕🐷🌸👛 I know you said that Nars blush looked promising in the pan as a competitor for the Dior blush, but ended up being much more coral on the skin. So maybe a round up since you are an expert? You could make it a series and do best cool toned pink lip colors too since I know you’re a big fan of those as well 🥰 just a thought!!!! Love your stuff! Loved this vid, Lan! I wanted to suggest the hourglass unlocked mascara! i have issues with smudging because my eyes are very oily but i hate having to remove waterproof mascara lol . it’s a tubing mascara, so it doesn’t smudge but it’s easier to remove

Have you tried tubing mascaras? Maybe that could help you get rid of the raccoon eyes! They don’t transfer at all and come off easily with warm water!

Have you tried a tubing mascara instead of waterproof? I used to swear by waterproof but now I can’t stop used the Thrive Causemetics tubing mascara! It’s so good!
