Would a lower truck like the Mini Logo, Venture Lo help land the Tre Flip more consistently? Also better order those Airwalks soon. Walmart has them for $20 and they’re selling out.
@@2FTSK8yeah man. It probably would be a lot of details. Sorry. Don’t mean to give you more work. When you had the mini logos on for some time and then the Tensors were the Tre Flips more consistent? You landed more consistently with 1 set of trucks vs another? Sorry for dumb questions.
@@TheReal_DeanD actually yes shorter wheelbase trucks are easier to tre flip in this case its mini logo truck .... I used venture truck be minilogo ... it was better skating minilogo for tre.... but venture has longer wheel base so it was hard to do tre flip Frontside flip backside flip but it was easier land it .... geometry of venture is very similar to mag light low tensor but tensor is much lighter so it could help or not help depend on your weight and size....
@@TheReal_DeanD it's not dumb question. So the advantage of tensor is mostly in weight and height... it would be much easier to maneuver the board easier to pop... but if someone likes to high pop amd exerting a lot power its might not work .... so it really depends ....
@@2FTSK8my man!! Thank you so much for replying in detail. This really helps me actually. Very much appreciated. I’m riding Venture 6.1 HI now so explanation helps me set expectations.
Love the break down from you(as opposed to others), literally makes more sense to me now as to why I might be struggling. Brotha, I feel your frustrations, I am from the same exact tribe as you. Thank you for that, keep the vids coming, I truly enjoy them. Sorry to hear about the shop, I was bummed for you just watching that video, often dream of owning a shop of my own, but seems we are on the downslope of the cyclical wave that is the skateboard industry.
Yeah I feel like people who make tre flip tutorials are usually the other tribe lol .... It makes happy to figure stuff out and hope this adds new perspective to the community!! ... it's sad about the shop but I am move on and youtube is one of my focus !!
Thanks so much for your video, looking forward to the next one explaining this whole as a trick tip. I was able to do this trick before having to go for surgery and I am struggling, after 5 years that I couldn’t skate, to bring it back. Weird enough there are moments I feel “I can do this” and then I do them, while most of the days I can’t even do one. I realized this you are saying with both pop shovit and 360 pop. That said, I still can’t translate this new timing to tre-flips, dunno why. Although it’s true that you don’t need to pop, when you do this you mention and you hit the floor with the board, it makes the trip so much nicer. It feels more solid and compact. I will look forward to your video and keep trying. Hugs from Spain!
You do pop the board but very lightly... like almost no pop .... n confidence is very important in terns of everything you do with skate... I would take my time though cause your recovering
Haha, I hated 360 flip because it had always been very popular trick, only to land it perfectly a few days ago. It felt good but I still think it's overhyped and overrated, I'll do laser flip next.
I definitely have the problem with the board behind me. I am going to put more effort into the forward Nike type scoop. I feel I am close I just need to really jump and scoop forward. Thanks for reminding me to scoop forward.
I learned these on a “spidey” Rick demontrond. It was hard keeping them consistent throughout all the changes in equipment throughout the years. I’m trying to get them back consistently again. I’ve watched a lot of tip videos and most have something you can take away from. Practice a lot for most people is probably the best advice. Yours looked good. 👍
Thanks ... I think in this case just practice wasn't gonna work for me because I didn't have necessary knowledge.... I think I do now... I couldn't get it until I figured it out ...
for me what really clicked is making sure to scoop straight up but also how you position your hips and shoulders as soon as that board presses the ground scoop straight it naturally comes behind your back foot
