To fix my crazy hair for my brushes, I comb through my brushes GENTLY and spray a TINY bit of hair spray on them, let it dry and then put it away. Then when I’m ready to use them I just fluff them on my hand and the hairspray is dry so it just crumbles off leaving the brush soft and str8 af❤️ but I love your method too!❤️
Girl, I'm so glad I found your video. Your tip with rolling the natural-hair brushes in toilet roll as a substitute brush guard literally SAVED my Jeffree Star Cosmetics brushes. I've only ever had synthetic brushes like the Too Faced teddy bear fur set and had no idea that natural-hair brushes take on their natural form after being washed, which is frayed and fluffy. But wetting them again and rolling them in tissue, like you did, got their form back - I was so relieved. I'm going to invest in some cheap brush guards from eBay but I just wanted to stop by and say THANK YOU for saving my brushes from their first wash!! Such a helpful video!!
I just washed my jacklyn hill master collection brush set and i almost fainted when i saw how the brushes looked. Im gonna try your technique and pray that it works because that set cost me over 200.00.
Thank you! I washed my new brushes and they got super frizzy! My OCD is ridiculous and this made me feel not so alone 🤣🤣. I appreciate this video, thanks!!
Thank you so much for these tips. That rolling in the toliet paper tip literally has saved my natural hair brushes! They all look brand new now when I wash my brushes ❤
thank you for this! i just bought some morphe jeffree star makeup brushes and after washing the white tip ones ghey became all rough and very bristle i'm hoping this works!
@BeautyByErika Me too, washed them once and got fucked up. I was really mad and ordered those things to keep them in shape. Still, bad brushes if they don't maintain their shape and we need to do all those steps. My zoeva ones never got to this point and I have them 10 years. They still look brand new.
Those look like my morphe brushes now!!!! Ugh they made me have so much fall out due to the bristles and I was pressed for time doing a client's makeup...
Great video girl , but it would have been nice to see how the ones you had in a burrito came out because I have that issue with Jaclyn Hill brushes lol
Do you think this could work with dove soap? I always use to use dove soap on my wet n wild brushes and since I just bought Morphe brushes I don’t want to ruin them. The toilet paper hack was so helpful btw❤️❤️❤️
I washed my morphe brushes for the first time and the brushes got horrible i didnt know it would happen. I also washed my other brushed from elf and wet and wild and tbh nothing happened to them they brissels went back yo their original shape but morphe didnt 😑
Brenda Martinez did you use the oil? I’ve read that natural brushes (usually white, I think 🤔) need to be washed w the oil and shaped to dry. Try washing those again and gently wrapping a small piece of paper towel or toilet paper around the bristles. She shows how in the end of this video.
Brenda Martinez if you do the burrito way like she did it works really well cause it happen to mines and I almost died when I saw that happen to my brushes
This literally just happened to me but with only the white morphe brushes, I watched a few videos and it said to wrap them in tightly in tissue so they keep the formation so I’m trying that :(
