I feel like Aust1n's videos are helpful but at the same time, things in the R6 community are a lot different now. Siege just isn't the tight nit community it used to be. I think trying to find team mates who are serious and want to get better are more rare. The tools used to find friends aren't the same even though there are more of them. I can never get better unless I can learn, play with, and play against people with a higher skill ceiling than me , trying to do that while solo queuing feels like an impossible feat. Not to mention established people and or teams are only looking for people of a higher caliber of player. None the less, Austin you have inspired me to persevere and push my self in R6 to become a better player. I guess reply if you wanna hit me up (Gold ll btw)
It really sucks because my irl friends that I play with (not to be rude) but they aren't that good at the game, don't get me wrong I love playing with them but I just can't play competitively with them it sucks. I try to give them tips to get better but it's not that they don't understand the game it's that they aren't the best at first person shooters.(btw if you wanna play some time I'm gold 2 and play on ps4)

Not buying new consoles. I'm making the switch to PC and couldn't be any happier. Can still play Xbox exclusives and I can play on higher frame rate hell yeah.

Can you make a movement and keybind video? I know there's better keybinds out there but I can't remap the way my fingers move no matter how hard I try. I can't do those quick info peeks or line up a pixel perfectley. That would be sick :)
My first side mouse button is melee my second is OP gadget third side button is for crouch c for prone v and b for lean (don’t ask it works for me worth a try) space is run shift is jump/vault everything else is default if you wanna play sometime my username is Armalite_
Honestly I wouldn't switch your keybinds unless there is a problem, let your hands get used to their positions and let them know what is what and build muscle memory. Find what works for you and stay with it because after a while you'll understand your movements and reach a level of understanding.

I would say it mostly comes down to experience. I play on console but I can control the smg 11 and 12 relatively well. It took me some time though to get used to it

You can tell this guy just has a knack for games, period. That LOU gameplay was pretty crazy to begin with but this dude has pretty damn impressive aim and movement with the mouse and keyboard, doubly so for someone who switched to PC fairly recently.
Just play the game and if you find someone who is good or fun send them a friend request and overtime try and wiggle your way into there squad, I was low silver now gold1 plat3 cuz I managed to find a good team

I remember when I was playing on PS4 (still do sometimes) I thought I was SO good, then I met people who were practically GODS to me. I switched to PC with them. Even tho we don’t play as often as we used to, were still best friends!

@@BeWaReJay it will still endup being more than a pc its smarter to play pc because you pay more at the start but then save in the long run on pc you arent paying 60$ a year just to play your online games and the games are way cheaper on pc because steam sales for example right now there is a steam summer sale and like almost any game you can search is on sale mostly 50% off
Last Of Us multiplayer is Lowkey still amazing, no lagging, no bullshit glitches, AND NO LOOTBOXES just grind! I redownload it and go crazy from time to time
TiurceR good job on hitting plat but the way console and PC siege are very different. You have to play a lot slower. For example villa on console is easier (or it should be)
Play with 5 man, when you get into Plat and Diamond you really need a reliable five man, Gold is the worst place to be. There's plenty of good players there but also plenty of shitters and they're all thrown together.
That’s how I had been until burnt horizon, u just need to limit ur solo que and find other players around ur skill level or preferably better, which you can do on reddit and discord
Austin what's your tip on recognising if a squad is worth your time?I have trouble finding a squad who does clean callouts and listenes and doesn't scream every time they die. Or they end up being a very inconsistent squad. Wich means they don't have clear members just people who join for 1 or 2 games then leave.
A pc build can range from any type of budget. You can build a console killer for about 300, wait a few weeks and you'd be able to build really powerful PCs for less than 500 that will get you absolutely SUPERB performance. you can buy peripherals in bundles (i.e. mouse, keyboard, and headset) for around 60 and just upgrade from there, or you can just look up how to link your controller of choice to a PC and just play without the worries of getting used to using a mouse and kb. Playing on PC allows you to play with a budget that costs a months' paycheck in minimum wage... or a year's paycheck, it's all up to you on as to how much money you want to put down on your set up. Also if you wanna start PC gaming now, you can literally sell your console for 'x' amount of money, add some more pocket change, and just search on RU-vid on how to build a PC at 'x' budget. It's that simple, plus you can get the reddit community or watch YT vids to help you on building the PC - or you can just buy a pre-built PC to make things easier, yet less cost effective.

I started playing on Xbox since the first day Red Crow came out, and I eventually tried to grind for plat, got plat in op health after countless torturous hours of trying to grind for it. Since then, I’ve practiced and played and learned more about the game. I switched to PC months ago and since I have to get use to mouse and keyboard (especially my aim), I have noticed how different the platforms are and I need to get used to PC siege. Since then, I started out in copper IV, and grinder my way out into bronze, and soon into silver. If you read this, high five to you and have a great day.
This is what happened to me ( a little bit ) i was a really bad console player when all of a sudden there was a diamond in my squad. The whole team left and it was just me and him and i asked if he was still down to play sense the previous game me and him both had 12 kills and he inv me to a squad a couple minutes later and i was a gold playing against diamonds and i was getting used to it and within june 10 i went from gold 2 to a play 1 godly console player to july 30. This games crazy just the people you play with or against is how you will play
