Wizard gameplay makes me really want a wizard/orb type of puppet character in a traditional fighter. I want Zato/Eddie but with wizard aesthetic and more floaty nonsense.
Ive been having a lot of fun with kokonoe in BBCF. Even comes with her own version of chekovs dart and sparkbomb. She doesnt really have the puppet part but you can still do a lot with magnets to pressure them and has insane combo potential.
How is this man so good?? Out of curiosity, how do you approach the game? And how do you adjust/feel out your opponents? These terms always get thrown out a lot, but I feel like they’re never really concrete.
@@jasoneel76 playing safe is like -not taking risks that you don’t need to (risks for positioning, better situations, you can usually just autopilot until ur opponent messes up) -against competent players you need to guess jn neutral a bit more, but can still play relatively safe -against top players, i personally take a ton of risks in neutral for better positioning or for hard reads because my playstyle revolves around fear, and doing those things scares the hell out of your opponent lol
Hello, I've been looking for guides on wizard play and I noticed you don't use spark ball as much as is generally suggested. I've also encountered a concept known as spark boosting but have yet to find an explanation for it or how it is done. Maybe you can make a guide on wizard. One from a top player would be very helpful.
because orb > spark bomb spark boosting is done by flipping the spark switch while spark bomb is near you, giving you a massive speed boost. i’ll try to make a wiz guide after olympus i’m like really busy rn lol
SO I watched your robot video, and comparing them to this, that shows how insanely op robot was, on your robot video it looked like you were napping how easy it was, this one majority of the fights you actually got below 2,500 hp, great videos man
I mean, of course other characters can defeat wizard, but I for sure know if 2 players with the same skill play wizard vs any other character the wizard one will have the advantage. You have to be a legend to defeat a good wizard. It has mobility, damage, range, versatility, impredictability, can hit you out of burst range, everything. For instance I won against a dude almost hitless playing ninja vs cowboy, he wasnt really good, begginer maybe, then we rematched ninja vs wizard, I still won but had to give my all into it and almost lost cause wizard just have the best of all characters and more, its just so, so superior
Just picked this game up, started with wizard too. I am suprised to hear they are nerfing wizard, is it because they are broken or is it because of you. In the video there was only one other wizard player the rest were ninjas and cowbows. i dont think its a good system to nerf a character because of a player, it punishes everyone (those who put it in the time to get that good, and those who dont play to that level to begin with).
do you have any reccomendatinos on wizards? i see you constantly get up and close. consdering how the enemy can just block all projectiles i get why, though i worry about just being combod to death. any vids u reccomend?@@pleb1sm
cool video but u ever played god of stickfights? its like yomi but in real time and with better graphics, I would love to see more content from that game, if you haven't played it I think I could give you a key (I have some).
@@chebryanIt’s super fun - especially when versing friends! It’s like playing chess against a friend, constantly trying to outwit them. + bragging rights
