A Kazuya player in 13M Elite Smash (pls no bully) gave me the honor of fighting him a for a few games with Metaknight. My god. Nothing. Was. Safe. I throw out an attack, he electrics, powers through it and now I'm getting 0-Deathed if things go according to plan. I was so terrified I started flinging Bairs only to see him cut through that and send me to the moon. It's one thing to watch players go against Kazuya and it's kinda hype to watch him blow up players, but it's a different ball game when you're in the arena and you need to survive, and WIN against that demon. So while I did see a ton of complaints of the camping against him (from people not familiar from Smash), I have nothing but respect for your ability to maintain your composure in such a high stakes game. I would like to hear your opinion down the road regarding how to develop the mindset to maintain your composure and be patient when things aren't in your favor, because that was some extreme patience and some serious testicular fortitude to lose 4 games straight and not lose faith and instead only think about a gameplan to win.

I think Rosa beats kazuya because he cannot deal with detethered luma. Rosa doesn’t die that easily either because luma can combo break. Kazuya has to hit Rosa with stray hits until she dies. I think you have to capitalize more on luma hits as you would a lot of the time just not commit to any Rosa follow ups after luma hits which is fair because it’s kazuya, but Rosa still has a ton of non commital attacks like nair that you can throw out and not get punished that easily. For ledgetrapping using detethered luma can be much safer than down tilt ledgetrapping. Rosa shouldn’t really get hit and if luma gets tumbled he shouldn’t die. Even if you just put luma at roll distance and starbits any getup options, it can still work.
