I don't know about adding Black Zetsu earlier in the series, the reason why Zetsu told Madara, he is a manifestation of his will was because Madara doesn't trust people outside of himself, also works in Zetsu's favor. If Zetsu kept advising madara as a separate thinking entity, Madara would also think of NOT trusting him and question his intentions. He was able to back stab Madara because Madara thought he was just his will.
@@appleboss9742 Madara barely trusted Obtio to resurect him (and he was right), and place a seal on his heart. Honestly, I think Madara would've just ended up using black Zestu to use Nagato to resurrect him. If Black Zetsu became a separate entity 100% madara would've made plans to betray him as well...which thinking about would be kind of interesting outside of the line of backstabbing.
Kaguya is a cultural problem. Zetsu betraying Madara has been planned since the end of Naruto Part 1. After Naruto's first fight against Sasuke in the Valley of the End (chapters 233 and 234) Sasuke has a reaction similar to that of Hashirama (chapters 626 and 681) to the fact that Zetsu is watching them and Kakashi says in these chapters to how similar Naruto and Sasuke's story is to Hashirama and Madara's story. This is a foreshadowing of the fact that Zetsu manipulates the reincarnations of Indra and Ashura in the shadows. The cultural problem here is the fact that since his first appearance Black Zetsu speaks in katakana (the Japanese speak in 3 languages: hiragana, katakana and kanji). Everyone in Naruto speaks in hiragana except black Zetsu who speaks in katakana. When the Divine Tree (Kaguya) tells Madara to absorb it (after his fight against Gai) the dialogue is written in katakana, it is a foreshadowing on the fact that Black Zetsu has been his will all along (this is why the revelation comes out of nowhere when we see it in translated version). As you can imagine, this is a detail that the Japanese noticed and which was ignored during the translation.
@@hc.117 In that case I think only the end of this video is needed. Madara gets his time to shine and Zetsu transforms him to Kaguya when he sees that he can't win against team seven.

How to fix Kaguya? save her for the The Last movie as the final villain. There are already too many controlled puppet enemies in the main series. Madara controlled Obito, Obito controlled Nagato and then it turns out that Madara is controlled by Zetsu and it also turns out that Black Zetsu is controlled by Kaguya. Please, give us a break...
@@stormslasher9471yes and the best way to finish off that theme is to show that all of the shinobi world was in fact controlled by a alien..... Really does wonders to how that theme is connected to human condition.
@@MohamedRamadan-qi4hlYour take is so shallow. How does it being an Alien change the theme? If anything it adds to theme it’s “Inhumane” to use a person as a tool. Hence an Alien
@@Jay_SGE Because it's a bit... Much. At least in my opinion. Like If Black Zetsu just altered the Uchiha shrine and watched as everyone played into his hands that would've been cool. Manipulating half of the shows events takes the theme too far and into the absurd. Especially since Kaguya's dealt with so relatively quickly.
I'd have Guy actually finish off Madara with the Night Guy, and then, when Madara is incredibly weakened, Kaguya is able to take control of his weakened body. I still think Kaguya coming out of Madara makes sense, because it was explained that Kaguya herself was essentially the Ten Tails, as she became the Ten Tails after combining with the God Tree, (sometime after giving birth to Hagoromo and Hamura), which would technically mean that its Kaguya herself who's sealed inside of Madara. After Guy's sacrifice, (yes, actual sacrifice), to defeat Madara, Team 7 can take down Kaguya in the final battle.
Zetsu is like a failed karma marking basically he was able to inject his Chakra into madara and that's how Kaguya was able to transport herself out of the moon she was sealed in from hagaromo and hamura
Here's my gripe with Nick's introducing of Hagoromo to young Sasuke: *Sasuke awakened the Sharingan AFTER his clan died.* It was just minutes after seeing the corpses of his parents that his Sharingan activated for the first time. Instead of Sasuke awakening the Sharingan and having his father explain the origin of it afterward, let Sasuke have a flashback to the day Itachi threatened the Uchiha clan after Shisui's death. Extend the same flashback he had in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, where Itachi's Mangekyo was revealed. As Itachi stares at Sasuke with his Mangekyo, Itachi grimaces before hanging his head and covering his eyes with his hand. Sasuke notes that his brother looks like he's in a lot of pain. That night, Sasuke and Fugaku are in Sasuke's room. (Normally, Fugaku would talk with Itachi before bed, and Sasuke wonders why his father wasn't with his brother. Canonically, Fugaku and Itachi's relationship were strained at this time due to the tension between Itachi and the clan.) Sasuke: "Father, does your Sharingan hurt you, too?" Fugaku: "Yes, sometimes it does. But it's a price to access its power." Sasuke: _Sasuke touches under his own eye in contemplation. He suddenly feels the smallest amount of nervousness about awakening his Sharingan._ "But if it hurts, why do we pride ourselves of these eyes?" And THEN Fugaku explains the mythical origin of the Sharingan and introduces the Sage of Six Paths to the audience.
Imma say it, Madara’s plan was stupid and relied on convenience for it to work. Obito had no reason, wasn’t going, and had no intention of reviving Madara. He put his plan in the hands of someone who hated him and was going to let him stay dead. He also would’ve gotten revived as a old as man even if it did work
Obito had a reason. He believed the inscriptions in the Uchiha stone that Kuro Zetsu altered/created would lead to his dream world. That just lead to Madaras betrayal, which didnt last long as Kaguya/Kuro Zetsu or whatever pretty much took over instantly
While initially unlikely, integrating the Otsutsuki concept into Naruto early on could have been feasible. But it unreal to think Kishimoto could planned that way before as he wasn't going with that story line in the early naruto. However, its introduction during the war arc could have been executed effectively. Kaguya's storyline could have been saved for Boruto, with Naruto focusing on Hagoromo and Hamura's narratives. Introducing Hagoromo during the Pain arc has already laid a foundation of shinobi God. With black zetsu fusing into madara as karma mark before madara was sealed by team 7 as foreshadowing for the boruto series; marks the end of war arc. The following three-year time skip could unveil Hamura's descendant, Toneri, as the ultimate foe, accompanied by Sasuke's redemption arc. Sasuke's development, including his bond with Sakura and admiration for Naruto and Kakashi, would deepen. His hyperventilation while searching for Sakura in battle and self-sacrifice for Naruto would highlight his growth. A final battle between Sasuke, Naruto, and toneri, followed by glimpses of the next generation's future, would conclude Naruto's story. Boruto's prologue would feature Naruto and Sasuke battling a resurrected Kaguya through the medium of sealed karma marked madara, setting the stage for the Boruto series, ensuring both series retain their distinct identities.
Interestingly enough naruto kinda did seed the idea of the otsutsuki and kaguya as early back as the chunin exams. Remember during hinata and neji's battle kakashi was explaining their byakugan, he also mentions "the byakugan and sharingan are distantly related to each other". A line that didnt mean anything until kaguya showed up having both sharingan and byakugan and being the common ancestor of both the uchiha and hyuuga Infact come to think about it, in hindsight its actually really weird that kakashi would even know that to begin with since kaguya and that whole connection was lost from history
That's a reach. Nothing about that suggests that there is a clan of extraterrestrial demigods planning to destroy the earth. All it meant was that 1. as dojutsu from the same village, they're similar, and might possibly have similar origins or even a common ancestor. That's it.
@@meko98743 Yeah he's referring to the 'common ancestor' part, but in all honesty even an implied common ancestor of every dojutsu in the world definitely has 'demi-godlike' connotations...
None of this or the Kaguya clan implies anything about the shared ancestor being an alien demigod, instead of just an early user of chakra whose children diverged from her.
I really like how you made the information that we got at the last second and made it so that they came earlier on. I would’ve took it a step further, and more clear that black zetsu is Kaguya mind and not a separate person so when she comes in, she would actually have a personality
Honestly, aside from how avoidable Neji's death was, I think it did what it was supposed to do. Neji's story was loathing being part of the side branch and effectively being an enslaved pawn for the main family, expected to die to protect the cousin he barely cared about. And when the time finally came, he deliberately chose to die to protect her, out of genuine love, rather than out of coercion or even necessarily duty. Of course, that doesn't mean that there's no possible way it could have been better than what we got, so don't let me stop people from suggesting cool changes. I just don't see it as fundamentally broken to begin with, is all.
@@riluna3695To me a better ending would ve been Hiashi dieing protecting Neji. Hizashi died protecting his brother, Neji's dad. Then, years later, Hiashi would die protecting his son.
@@taylordesouza7 That has some poeticism to it as well. A main family member sacrificing themselves for a branch family member. A nice reversal to show the beginnings of change in the Hyuga family, respecting everyone instead of just the heir. I approve :D
@@riluna3695But if you want the narrative of Neji choosing to sacrifice himself, there is alwyes the Pain arc. Like, he sees Naruto and/or Hinata loseing and goes to the battle field to help and have him die there. Since, he would return later, like Kakashi (without the sea mightl), after Nagato uses rinne rebirth. It's not like Hinata's confession there led to anything happeing between them. Also, Naruto and Neji have history because of their fight during the chunnin exams.
@@riluna3695For Hinata, there is so many options. She could learn medical ninjutsu with Tsunade and Shizune, along side Sakura and Ino. 🤗 Or learn Genjutsu from Kurenai. She has the chakra control for it. Plus, I would love to have seen her and Rock Lee interect some more. Like, he is also a taijutsu user and practices with Neji, a lot so... Plus the contrasts in their personalities would intresting to see. Would be great to see a male/female friendship that does not led to romance.
I personally wish the Rinnegan wasn't an upgrade to the Sharingan, and Madara had another way to revive himself. Maybe Madara had a different plan that he already laid the groundwork for long before Obito came into the picture, and he only told Obito said plan so he could oversee that everything works out. Obito would make his own plans involving the Rinnegan when he discovers Nagato's abilities. The idea here being that Madara's plan was already primed for success, and Obito can do more scheming than just following Madara's plan.
Other than that, I actually love this alteration... particularly how Naruto has to learn Hagaromo is a hero, since that would change his perception on Kurama and make it feel more grounded for Kurama to decide to help Naruto.
Its werid, before i came into the community itself, when watching for thr first time i assumed Kaguya would be beloved as this ancient all powerful diety that the main characters had to fight, i was hyped. Then i saw everyone shitting on her online cus madara wasn't the final villain.
Ijs who did people think hagoromo was speaking of as his mother, when Naruto and Sasuke where nearly killed by Madara on like the second night of the war arc 😂😂 c'mon now

It's fairly easy to fix. Have Hagoromo tell Naruto and Sasuke that Madara is mistaken and that bringing back the tree will release Kaguya, and that Kaguya is completely insane (insert flashback three-part episode here). Get rid of the reincarnation crap and the Black Zetsu manipulating everyone stupidity and just make it that bringing back the 10 tails will inevitably bring back the Mad Moon Goddess Kaguya. Hagoromo is connected to all chakra, so he's seen everything that has happened. He chooses Naruto and Sasuke to stop her because they REMIND him of his children both in terms of power and personality.....not because they ARE his children. (This maintains the hardwork vs destiny dichotomy because it was their actions that brought the there, not fate). They can try to stop Madara (who should NOT have been the final boss, but that's for another time) by telling him the truth. He wouldn't believe them because he's an ass and then he slowly gets taken over. When Kaguya comes back, she just a mindless monster spouting off random stuff that doesn't make a lick of sense (until Boruto) and make it clear that she is imagining that Naruto and Sasuke are her children, Kakashi is her husband and Sakura is either a younger her, some Otsutsuki that we don't know or a third child that we saw in the flashback episodes (spoilers for OC, THAT is the progenitor of the Uzumaki Clan). This gives everyone a place in the fight and makes Sakura look a tiny bit better pre-Boruto (cause she can use the glow up). You can keep pretty much everything the same without nerfing the final boss by making him a pawn and he gets a suitable comeuppance by being perma-sealed into a madperson for all of eternity in his own personal hell aka....a infinite tsukuyomi.
Actually I agree with them not being a reincarnation of Indra and ashura hagoromo choose Naruto and Sasuke because they are Naruto and Sasuke in the current time period they are the strongest Shinobi so he giving his power to them will be a icing on the cake to defeat Madara , just like Naruto and Sasuke not being reincarnation of Indra and ashura, Hashirama and Madara is also not hagoromo’s sons reincarnation you can say that living in the period where a newborn baby is thrown into the battlefield to fight makes them 2 strongest shinobi which people started to call Hashirama the god of shinobi
More you're near the end of the story and the editor wants sequel bait, and you panic instead of realizing oh wait our world has other continents, so I don't need to make Kaguya an alien, or expand the power scale beyond this one up of the most powerful person ever.
This video was enlightening. I'm working on a similar plot thread in my own story, and your ideas on how to better handle Kaguya have put so many ideas in my head! More than Naruto content, this is why I come back again and again!
Yeah, seeding Hagoromo earlier and making Black Zetsu more important / more obviously responsible for Madara turning against Konoha is probably the best way to make the Kaguya reveal better. Along with, you know, having Team 7 actually beat Madara and then having Black Zetsu steal their victory for his own ends, rather than him preventing them from even getting a real fight in.
I disagree people main issue is they felt as madara got hoed in general and was a sacrificial lamb for an under whelming villan . The easiest way to fix it would be was to show black zetsu fusing into madara as a karma mark as forshadowing for the boruto series. Madara having a big battle against naruto / sauske / 8 gates guy , double kamui kakashi as obito hands him his eyes telling him to avenge rin being that madara was behind her death and he know he’s passed redemption but asked his old friend for one last favor . This fight gets animated on the same lvl as momoshiki vs naruto / sauske quailty and might guy dies at the end telling kakshi he was his best friend and to take care of the next gen so kids wouldn’t have to grow up like orphans like them . Sakura role would be to be the anchor and give guy 100 healings extending his time even though his fate is set to see this through . The conclusion naruto and sauske end up sealing madara the rest of the story plays out the same . Then reinforce boruto karma lore the extraction of kaguya dna will take over madara well before boruto era and if they want to use her at play later either to be a villan in boruto tbv or a food for the shinju to evolve and getting higher sentients it’s perfectly set up . I don’t disagree on things you suggested like having the great toad reference hagoromo while naruto has sage mode training or even give black zetsu have a bunch if one liner that serve as forshadowing . But the promblem is NHC hammer not genuially understanding kaguya had no aura or personality so the fact madara got killed off for that Reguardless of the forshadowing people won’t like at all .
To be Honest if Kaguya were to be Fixed as NCHammer23 wants it to be I think it would be a Lot Better because then she would probably seem Imposing and Revered a Likable Character if you will.
@@devilgod4552 Lmao for real, Imagine them dropping gems and hints here and there around pain arc or a bit prior and after about Hagoromo/Hamura and their so called Rabbit Goddess mother Kaguya, based on the kind of information they slightly or BOLDLY dropped we would’ve easily been able to AT-LEAST acknowledge the fact that she MIGHT appear later down the line. It was so surprising when she appeared that even after Hagoromo explaining her existence to Naru/Sasu I still didn’t even think about the possibility of her being resurrected. People complain about Zetsu being “not important enough” yet forget that he’s always been just THERE lurking in the shadows and never knew about exactly what he was and where he stem’d from let alone him/Madara’s connection to each other until Madara is revived. Everyone was manipulated but the second Madara was it became bad writing for people, Why.. because he was extremely powerful? So was Obito, so was Sasuke and he was manipulated by his own blood, Zetsu waited for the moment Madara had obtained the exact amount of power and resources needed to revive Kaguya and betrayed him at the right moment, just before any battle could take place that lands Madara in a situation where he could possibly lose. (whilst not highly likely still feasible)
I like what you did in this video but I’ll change one thing so that black Zetsu strikes after Might Guy nearly kills him and I’d make Guy dies after he opens the eight gate
The thing about separating the Rinnegan between 2 people is that Rinnegan's vision is linked. So Nagato would be seeing all of Obito's dirty little secrets.
Hearing this and having this retrospection on the story of Naruto kinda did what it you wrote it to fix. I had no problem with the story and how it happened but this made me appreciate it more and gave possible context that I can agree with. I feel like if more people saw this and thought about it more there would be less resentment and more understanding towards that conclusion... I think.
Fix sakura next some of my ideas is make her fall in love with sasuke during the series not before the series make her an orphan not like anyone gives a damn about them also you could make her a senju which would be really interesting and also definitely remove that ridiculous dialogue of her making fun of naruto about being an orphan
I would fix Sakura by making her a genjutsu specialist and giving her a cool genjutsu. Alot of ppl said that Sakura was useless during the child series. Hardly any of the other main characters used genjutsu so it would have made her stand out more and seem like more of a threat then a damsel in distress. It would also make the attraction to Sasuke make more sense in my opinion because he is one of the few characters that actually does use genjutsu so they would have that in common.

You know; I don't have an inherent problem with Black Zetsu killing Madara at his strongest; In a weird way I actually think thematically it makes the most sense. The only problem though; is that it's a sneak attack from behind. As such; I would've loves to see that scene take a cue from Bleach when Gin betrays Aizen. Have it so instead of just randomly appearing; Black Zetsu comes up and stands right alongside Madara. You can even have him praise Madara openly; congratulating him about being the strongest in the world, and finish by saying something like "and that's exactly what she deserves". Then when Madara pauses for the tiniest of seconds to ask "what do you mean?" it's only then that Black Zetsu turns around and shoves his hand right through Madara; and the whole conversation about Madara being blinded for power is now delivered by the person who controlled everything staring right into Madaras face.
I would love a fanfic with this spin to it. 1000% Fixes and enhances the story. Also, a few more missions like Wave before the Chunin Exams would solidify Team 7's relationships early on and allow for some growth for the rest of the cast that isn't Naruto and Sasuke
for more than a year now, I have had some ideas about rewriting Naruto (inspired by the dygoKnight series mainly) and I would totally change the identity of black Zetsu and scrap Kaguya from the story. Maybe I will start on this project some time soon :D
All they had to do was have black zetsu skirmish briefly with Madara. That would've show us that black zetsu was hiding his true ability, THEN sneak him. I would have accepted that. We can only speculate that black zetsu was strong enough to sneak Madara but nothing in the story shows that he had any level of strength. Maybe a brief dialogue like, "aha! because of my haxed ability, you can't hurt me!"
Even if you dont want black zetsu to be that powerful in and of himself the. Yiu can easily have him take over someone and make them more powerful such as Hashirama

Mmmm okay Nick I see you, Thank you for making the intro Shorter 😊. Video starts 4:16 but honestly its actually bearable to watch through the intro now
Yeah if she didn't immediately attack and instead opted to gaslight her children as the true villains, who were jealous of her power, she may have won by default.
I like it, some tweeking would probably need to be done. Kaguya having more personality would also help. I think she would have been better received if she'd had a bombastic personality, maybe actively scolding the main cast like they were her children, showing them how to properly use their powers. Really make her a character instead of a puppet of black zetsu so it didn't feel like we exchanged the most interesting villain for a blank slate.
If I ever made anime story, I would make sure that whatever abilities characters have, they would be incredibly clear how their abilities work and explain them in impeccable detail, like creating the entire laws of physics. Like "chakra" wouldn't just be chakra, it would be a power that is channeled through friction between universes in multiverse, that is channeled through other dimension or something as a vortex between friction and the character. Nothing would come out of nothing, wood relese and fire release (the color of fire release indicate precence of carbon, where did that came from?), those need very clear explanation. Same goes for how summonings work, in tiniest detail all the way to sub-atomic level. And every impact in animation would be checked hundred times, so there will be no guess work how powerful someone is at any given point and cannot be stronger or weaker than what he/she really is and check for any sort of plothole (still wondering how Danzo knew about amaterasu, for example).
I have all kinds of ideas of how I would change Naruto, but I think it's important to keep in mind that this was a serialized story. The author probably didn't know exactly where he was going or how he was going to get there, but when the publishers said "give us x more", he tried. Working with hindsight is so much easier
Now I would love for you to fix the entirety of boruto and Naruto with adding the filler arcs and movies an even games they have original content into Cannon. And I would love for this to become a what if series that you do.
It could have pretty much a redrawn (like OPM is doing recently)at the time, Zetsu being Madara's will, but now that Madara is hearing voices, she states "OK, you caught the ten tails, you got the tree itself, I am now complete" and suddenly rods start piercing Madara from inside out. they would become the big gudoudama and upon the same rebirth, Kaguya faces backwards and touches Obito's/Zetus's head and removes it from Obito, binding her will to him and he acts pretty much the same way. This would be a slight better first impression. So to know Madara's salvation in the uchiha Tablet doesn't mean infinite tsukuyomi, but rather, Kaguya. A incomplete decipher of the tablet. A Rinnegan would read/decipher him that gathering rinnegan would be dangerous because it could take Gedo Mazo away from the purpose Hagoromo gave to it, but rinnesharingan means Kaguya is unsealed.
Damn you my dude. The exposition dump about the sharingan, the tailed beasts, and byakugan would have made things so much better and now ill never see the series the same with that mindset. 😭
Bruh. Naruto was created during a time when people in the west were just watching the series on top of that the internet was on the more primitive side. There weren’t as many people with enough knowledge and understanding of eastern cultures. There’s at least two hints that Kaguya was going to be the final villain those being Nagato mentioning the moon being created, and it being stated the Gedo Statue was summoned from the moon. The Gedo Statue itself is a hint being it sits in a flower which is a reference to Kaguya. As people who aren’t apart of the culture that Kishimoto derived his influence from of course we wouldn’t notice the hints, and think it’s bad story telling. I only know this stuff because even I had it told to me and so far only one person I’ve ever seen make the connections I just mentioned.
There is a bit of a Segway early on as Kimimaru is from a group of people called "the Kaguya Clan" and I may be misremembering this, but I thought there was a filler story involving them too. You could have them sacrificing people to her or worshipping her as a religious figure.
I worked on a reimagining of the Naruto story for three years, and the ideas you presented in this video are a superb solution to the most problematic issue in the series!
I really like this idea! My two things would still have night guy “finish” madara and the first convo with Sasuke doesn’t make much sense to me just because Sasuke’s awakening in canon was a important moment in the land of the waves as it shows that he cares about naruto. But that’s just me. Anyway enjoyed the video and your take on the idea. I’m definitely in the second camp with thinking she was important but poorly done. A idea I had was maybe somehow have her in her own movie. Maybe after they defeat madara everything goes back to normal but as we pan out we see a crack form on the moon and a shadow appear over it or maybe a eye staring down. This paired with some foreshadowing of her as you said I think would have been very interesting. Although I do love Naruto the last and this kinda replaces tonari’s story so maybe not the best idea. But one another note these madara x hashirama jokes will be the death of me one day 😂 I love them so much
If you're creating a story, know your ending before you begin. You don't need every single detail, but if you don't have a goal to aim for, you're going to create a meandering story, if not an outright awful one. And for the love of god, understand that subverting expectations is not in and of itself a good thing. It can sometimes be done amazingly well, and it can sometimes be INSANELY stupid. As I'm fond of saying: raw shock value is a great way to give your audience story-poisoning. Always cook your shock value to an internal temperature of at least 180 degrees. Don't go into your story blind, and don't feel compelled to have twists "because people like twists". Both will hurt the final product. Nick did an excellent job patching up the flaws that crept into a show even as badass as Naruto due to the writer not keeping these tips in mind.
Easy fix: as soon as the Sage started getting name checked every few chapters she should have too. "The Rabbit Goddess", and the woman who once ruled the world should have been a myth in universe that by the time Obito is explaining what a 10 tails is to the 5 Kage Summit we'd start to wonder if it was actually true. We should have understood the potential consequences of her return and parts of her character well before Hagaromo showed up, leaving his exposition on her to be little more than clarification Her backstory and thematic place in the story are actually great, just terribly, *terribly* executed (tho i do kinda love her backstory in the anime filler arc that explains her)
I would have had Kaguya only foreshadowed in Naruto Shippuden and the Last. Similar to your version Black Zetsu would try to take advantage of the wounded Madara whispering ominously about his lady and the plan reaching its fruition at long last. However in response Madara masters the last of his strength to obliterate Zetsu. Sasuke would still go on a journey to learn more about that mysterious mastermind but we wouldn't actually see an Otsotsuki in the flesh untill the Last. This way we know that such entities exist and learn more about Kaguya including her imprisonment in the moon. This leaves us with an interesting role for Kaguya in Boruto, that of a Chekov's gun as the heroes would face more and more aliens while grappling with the idea of releasing Kaguya and forming an alliance against her people.
Yeah. Kaguya didn’t need go be squeezed in here. I felt like she cut off the final act of Madara too soon. I wanted to be scared of him longer. She needed to be in a movie. Then adapted in Boruto & then I feel Boruto can continue as usual.
Tonton having more screentime than Black Zetsu had me on the floor Ps the first time they mention Kaguya is when they talk about Kimimaru. He is from the Kaguya Clan, he has the basic/weakest version Ash Bone Rods. when you look at his Clan, you'll see the resembles they have to Kaguya and thier attire looking very simillar to the Clan that found her whrn she landed.
Pros: She did feel like a suitably dangerous final boss. She was capable of one shotting characters, and the only win condition against her was to properly coordinate and seal her away. The final play that sealed her away was the first time we see all four members of team 7 coordinate properly, and it was a fantastic moment that saved the world. Cons: Came out of freaking nowhere to usurp Madara as the final boss (tbh, I feel like he kind of overstayed his welcome and got away with a few too many things). No personality beyond being the final boss. While Naruto and Sasuke did have the upper hand against Madara and likely were going to win, the fight got cut off abruptly at a spot that didn't really communicate that. Letting him be convincingly cornered before Zetsu plays his hand would have made more sense. In general, let the over exposure of White Zetsu build some intrigue around the topic of 'what is Black Zetsu and where did he come from?'
To me, Kushina's dead is the saddest. All about her was sad, her reencounter with Naruto was super sweet, funny and sad. Minato just took the hit like nothing.
5:59 That is exactly what seven deadly sins did. People had powers of the demons but we never saw a true demon. If feel like madara could have been put into a similar situation
I need a new Naruto series where it takes place after the ninja war and all of the konoha 12 have a team to teach. Including sasuke. But not hidden leaf students for sasuke but some left over from orochimaru.
It would change the ending Chibaku tensei scene a little bit, where Sasuke specifically attacks black zetsu to ensure he doesn't plot Kaguya's return again. See, once Kaguuya would've reincarnated using Madara's karma, Black zetsu (Being Kaguya's Karma vessel) should disappear, as all karma marks disappear when OHtsutsuki reincarnate. So Zetsu would've died as soon as Kaguya comes back.
I think the only change I would make would be to have Madara go down when Gai does the eight gates blow and that be when Black Zetsu makes his move to resummon Kaguya. Let her put everyone into the cocoons. It'll make her feel like more of a current threat instead of just all these great feats from thousands of years ago. THEN have team 7 fight her. If they fight Madara to the brink of death before her, they're gonna be top damn exhausted. Plus I just want Gai's moment to not be for nothing ;-;
I still say the best 2 times to introduce the Otsuski is while Naruto is while he was learning Sage mode and/ or directly after Pain Arc with the introduction of the Rinnegan.
I would make one small change to your version to make the ending arc a bit shorter, black zetsu puts the karma mark into madara, after he is exhausted after his fight with might guy, telling madara that the mark will help him healing, then as madara is using a lot of otsutsuki powers and kaguya isnt actually dead, madara will "download" kaguya during his fight with naruto and sasuke against the limbo clones, hint something is happening to madara with black marks appearing on his white skin as the karma is evolving, then when madara awoke the third eye and cast the infinite tsukiyomi and descends to confront team 7, make kaguya appear similarly as in the original story, this way you also hint the karma marks for boruto, and doesnt make team 7 do 2 big final battles againts 3 eye madara and kaguya, which would either be rushed fights or a ton of chapters that can end up being boring.
I would have used guy as he dealt the final blow with the night guy on madara as he was on his last breath with his body unable to regenerate everyone was cheering for the war was over, but with a bittersweet taste for those who had lost their life and for the man who was recognized by madara as the peak of taijutsu who gave his life and proved that indeed even geniuses could be beaten with training, mean while in the background ashirama approached madara and some flash back about their life, but in the background we could see a shadowy figure always lurking, basically he would have been like an omniscient teller so when we aren't in Naruto pov we would see in zetsu point of view, he could be talking about how his plan is progressing to bring her back and put a figure of a white skinned woman, he could have protected naruto when sasuke wanted to throw kirin and approach sasuke after he killed orochimaru with the excuse to give him more power if he joined the akatsuki
Speaking as someone who tried to be looking behind smoke and mirrors when zetsue was introduce I felt there was more to him than met the eye as there was no way a organisation like the Akatsuki would have someone as weak as zetsu and obtito appeared to be as members, so I thought that they were the ones pulling the strings and obitios was told I felt that it was zetsu was pulling the strings
This is an interesting thought experiment. I can’t help but wonder if this is a wish fulfillment with the purpose of proving that we could have figured out the plot twist. If the thought process is, how could this have been better? The only major thing I would’ve changed is black Zetsu in charge of Obito. Then Blue could slowly give out clues that would’ve formed the story better
So when you said the stuff with the tablet of Indra + ashura = hagaromo, does that mean if the next incarnations of them were opposite gender and had a kid, would that make a hagaromo? or did the cycle of the indra and ashura stop with naruto and sasuke and we will never know?
I DISTINCTLY remember reading the chapter where the Sage of 6 Paths told Naruto and Sasuke about how he and his brother defeated his evil mom and going "Oh, maybe she'll show up as a villain later...actually no, we're already super deep into the end game, we've already switched villains once, and Naruto and Sasuke are still probably gonna have one last fight. It would be really weird and derailing to introduce a brand new antagonist at the last possible second" and then feeling like a complete jackass a few weeks later. Anyway, my fix (ain't watched the full vid yet) would have been to have Kaguya replace the Eye of the Moon plan. Establish the legend of Kaguya, the goddess who bequeathed chakra to humanity in part one, then in part 2 reveal that the Akatsuki is a cult explicitly trying to bring her back. Maybe Madara believed that so long as humanity has free will and chakra, the ninja wars and conflicts would never end, and hoped by waking up Chakra God mom, she would take the reins on humanity and chakra and issue in an era of subservient harmony
Not gonna lie.. would be hype for Shibai to show up at the end only for kaguya to emerge from secret karma marking behind Sakura seal of hundred then with her newfound body and strength of hundred seal she just bust a hole through Shiba too😂😂 and be like I waited an entire sequel to get rhis power and she becomes the new top dog that both boruto and himawari have to take down
Ok, I may sound crazy here, but can Otsosuki’s who have a rinnegan summon ten tails they’ve interacted with? Cuz the rinnegan can summon the gedo statue, which is a husk of a ten tails. It would make sense since the only otsosuki we’ve seen with dojustu that aren’t a byakugan are high rank or post fruit kaguya. I’d assume they high rank ones would be who are in charge of the ten tails
If i had to fix kaguya i would’ve made it where there was already i scientist or doctor ninja who studied space so he could kind of predict kaguya in like the first or second episode but in a way where we wouldn’t really notice
Fixing Kaguya is very simple in a few steps 1. She's not an alien just from a war like clan (possibly on one of the other continents) that exiled her for not being as blood thirsty and strong as them. 2. The Chakra Tree isn't alien in origin just a natural occurrence of a plant that evolved to harvest excess nature energy and convert it into chakra. 3. Here is the big one. There isn't an actual line between Kaguya and the 10 Tails after she eats the Chakra fruit, she is spiritually the 10 Tails and Kaguya. 4. The reasons the tailed beasts go violent isn't just because their crying about human cruelty, but rather because their the shattered pieces of Kaguya's soul, driven by hatred for both her husband and then sons turning on her. 5. Zetsu is still Madara's will, but instead Kaguya comes about by them defeating Madara by using the Hyuga to make Madara lose control of the 10 Tails by forcing him to have to force open his chakra points with 10 Tails energy too much. 6. Kaguya isn't quite as over powered though, since what is left of Madara is still fighting her for control of the body. Your option while it might make it more palatable not being completely out of left field is still the equivalent of garnishing and fancy plating a spoiled meal, its still bad just looks better.
Dang, crazy that the trick to making Kaguya a better villain to introduce is by handing Hagoromo’s character writing like that of the First Spinjitzu Master in friggin Ninjago.😆
8:42 and once a year he teleports into your village, and if you've been a good Shinobi he will leave you ninjutsu scrolls. And if you've been bad he will seal you inside of the nine tails. So be good children.😂
Even more mysteriously, just a little Zhuanzinstory about a little bird that thinks bigger birds are a myth because why waste time flying high in the sky across lakes rather than just bush to bush like little birds in their small world do.
I mean I didn't really think we needed all that long drama. Ppl knew about the rabbit princess or whatever, I think what could have worked better is if they fought fully powered Madara and when he is nearly defeated he says something like "You fools don't understand a thing - I was trying to save all of us..." and for the first time you hear fear in his voice and then he says..."Tell me...where do you think all this power comes from!? Now...I can't hold her back anymore..." - she then begins to take over his body slowly. Kurama starts to panick and tells Naruto that he and Sasuke needs to seal him now before it's too late. They both dive in and you get a similar kind of scene with Obito becoming 10 tails. Black Zetsu being her pawn could easily be resolved later.
Og Naruto mentioned a Kaguya clan when they introduced Kimimaro and he looked like he could've been almost part otsutski. Too bad they didn't expand earlier.
So, I had a story idea where the three Leaf Otutsuki clan's guard this moon temple. This temple is a nexus point to travel across other worlds, because she could make her way back from the moon realm. Then make Tobi not one person(it makes sense if they are more people), but a cult masked under names like Madara Uchiha. Their goal is to open the nexus to rule over the other worlds, they needed to break the Leaf to do so, and their eyes are very useful. They think Zestu is of their making, not Kaguya's. Short haired Tobi. is not sliver masked Tobi. The Akatsuki are not related to the Tobi cult, maybe enemies. short hair Tobi is new idea for the body of Pain and why he acts like a child. Stealing the Tobi cult teaching to make his skills. They do not know Zestu's plans, but know he is not of Tobi, understanding the use of double agent. After the death of Itachi, sliver mask Tobi replaces the other Tobi, and start brainwashing the groups Hebi and Akatsuki, aside from the hidden rain pair. Although, my story was going to be a side to Naruto's story and would have changed before the time skip, along with a lot of straying from main canon ideas. side note Kaguya eating the fruit, did they not say that there was already a fruit bearing tree, before she got there, and there was people. Then another Otsutsuli beast pair showed up, killed him (this next part might be mixed up) she fuse with this new ten tailed beast but was stopped before she ate the whole world, her kids seal her. Then everything and Naruto series happen.
Could you make a video on either channel regarding the best anime to watch with a girl/woman who would understandably cringe at how women are portrayed in most anime?
A good way to start fixing Kaguya, would be to have the entity that Hidan was worshiping be Kaguya. This would show that she has incredible power and can possibly even grant immortality.
I would go much simpler yet more cryptic about it: Just let Zetsu say from his Introduction that he wants to be reunited with his mother. We do not know who she is, but after a bit he says that sharing his mothers fingers with the other Akatsuki feels wrong to him, confirming it is the Gedo Statue. Then Yada Yada, Pain arc, War arc, more Zetsu talking about his mom and then when Madara pulls his plan still as an Edo Tensei, Zetsu develops his own "Save Mom" plan that results in Chest beating after a while. Not the most fleshed out thoughts, but it gives Zetsu what he needs: a goal and a motivation towards it.
