1:05 Kashimo actually does know about the transformation. All culling game players who are cursed objects via kenjaku have the option of overwriting their vessels appearance with their own, or transforming. Yorozu intentionally kept her appearance as megumis sister during her fight with sukuna, whilst people like Uro and Kashimo immedietly returned to their original appearances. Due to Megumi also being a culling game player as a vessel for sukuna, acting as if Kashimo wouldn't know about transformation is if anything a downplay on his intelligence and BIQ.

The thing about sukuna having to predict kashimo’s moves because kashimo is so much faster is exactly how I think kashimo vs sukuna should have went. I’m still sad my lighting goat got done dirty.

The one thing I wanted Kashimo to do was be so fast that Sukuna's domain was incapable of hitting him, with the series ending without this feat being topped by anyone else in the series. Regardless of if he lost, won, or even scratched Sukuna, the idea that some random guy from an era without Sukuna or Gojo was still strong enough to do something impossible.

1:15 in my opinion there was a point made about the Hein era about everyone jumping the strongest(Sukuna). Considering Kashimo was the strongest of his era he would have had the same experience of getting jumped by either specail grades or grade 1's meaning you would need to conserve your energy for many others. 2nd Sukuna still had a huge reserve of CE left after the fight cause later on against Yuta he states he has the same amount of cursed energy as him at that moment and as you know every sorcerer can see cursed energy and even weakened kashimo saw Sukunas strenth Lastly, Kashimo was just excited to be able to fight the strongest in history considering he was the first to the battle field and when sorcerers from every era jump the strongest do you think they care about the strongest being in top shape most dont they just want to win if they did care they would fight 1 on 1 not 20 v1.

I just wish Kashimo got to do more since he was the strongest in his era..

Kashimo was hyped up to be a Gojo-level threat. Dude was throwing hands with jackpot Hakari and repeatedly besting him WITHOUT USING HIS CT. Kashimo should’ve showed up, let Megkuna fully regen, then given him a high diff fight where Sukuna wins by cleverly adapting to Kashimo’s unmatched speed and unique attacks. Hopefully MAPPA decides to draw out this fight and give us some insane choreography like they did with Sukuna v Mahoraga. Also, I rlly love ur idea of Kashimo’s CT killing him because it’s massively amped by a binding vow instead of just being a CT that dooms the user as soon as it activates.

I would have liked to see Kashimo awakened and gain an extension and maximum techniques. Lightning Razor - using his special property, the charge builds up in Sukuna. When he puts his hands together, the electricity cuts the body internally. But because of the Lightning in numbs the damage so the opponent is unaware of the damage they have gone through. Simple Domain: Circuit Breaker Discharge - a simple domain that pulled in electricity from Kashimo and the environment. When the opponent enters the domain, they are shocked and destroys all of the electrical signals in the body/brain. Causes the target to Black Out. Rising Thunder - allows him to form a lightning bolt from under his target moving at the same speed as one for the sky. Raijin Puppeteer - using his CE to control the electrical signals in the body to control their movements. Maximum Mystery Thunderstorm - By discharging almost all of his CE into the sky, it creates a thunderstorm for 10 minutes. If the opponents have been touched by Kashimo, the bolts will be near impossible to dodge because the target is now a Lightning Rod. If the bolt hit, it drains CE and disrupts output. If Kashimo is hit, his CE and Output are amped. If the Lightning bolt misses, then a "Lightning Clone" will appear. Clones are weaker than the original and mainly move at Lightning Speed, but they can also be boosted by the storm. After the storm, the clones will explode or fizzle away.

Sukuna trying against Kashimo then playing around with everyone until Maki makes everyone think he's just a bum, he even reacts to Sukuna who blitzed Maki while his heart was literally gouged out. He is a BEAST, but sadly he went against the king of curses.

If you could choose the cursed techniques Yuta copies for his arsenal, which techniques would you like him to have? Imagine Yuta had access to all the CTs of both the modern era and the past.

When you bare the title of the strongest it doesn’t matter how weakened you are, you get straight heat 24/7. There is no honor system to being a sorcerer and Kashimo saw the Hakari fight as a game where Sukuna was his entire life’s purpose for the last few hundred years.

it is sad how weak Kashimo looks because of that fight considering basic stuff like being able to damage hakari, who has higher RCT than Gojo using his staff lightning strike to break domains from outside or kill them with a sneak attack inside the domain gaining time with hollow wicker basket and killing enemies in 5 hits + lightning bolt he is indeed stronger than most domain users without a domain but the lack of fights against standard domain users doesnt let you realize that

I just think all you needed to do is have sukuna stay in the meguna form a bit longer. It allows kashimo to have more interesting dialogue and he seems a lot more impressive for no diffing sukuna before he transforms

For this to happen I think we need a few other things to happen. Firstly, we need a larger preparation arc between the culling games and shinjuku. There can’t be an entire arc just for Kashimo vs Sukuna so this could be the climax of that particular arc. Secondly, we’d have to add a bit to the buildup for Sukuna vs everyone in shinjuku, because what gege gave us is kind of lack luster for filling out an entire arc for the students to train in. Maybe Yuji visits the kamo clan to train, gojo goes to his own clan to train and possibly develop a maximum technique, and we actually get to see nobara and todo come back. This was we can fill out time, develop the plot more, and actually have a story in an arc committed to having this fight end it. Lastly, this fight should foreshadow gojo vs Sukuna’s ending. Perhaps Sukuna learns a technique from agito or mahoraga that allows him to counter Kashimo in some way. Like if kashimos lighting is too fast or shocks him then Sukuna can use a technique to counter it. That would actually foreshadow his world slash and could build up more tension once he brings out the squad against Gojo because we’d know that he’s close to countering infinity.

MBA Kashimo would’ve looked way better if before he fought sukuna they let Uraume try to jump in and Kashimo brushes them aside similar to what Gojo did. This would have him be compared to Gojo again, furthering the “strongest of his era” narrative, show that he’s levels above Uraume, and give sukuna a reason to take him seriously.

If i wrote that foght i would have just done 7 chapters and make kashimo the fastest in the verse,a Domain expansion where their are electrical chains and they grab you and eletricoute you and its a one shot domain (sorry for bad grammar i not good at English)

One thing I always just had in my mind for some reason is that kashimo made a binding vow that he would die after using his ct but it amps it massively. Also I think he should have multiple different forms with his CT

@5:40 "A one shot" means they're power was so great that all that needed was one move to kill them/incapacitate them Nanami got back up not problem apparently. With not RCT he survived it. Maki healed that shit off screen And Naobito died two wks later so he's honestly the only person that got killed. Jogo unfortunately needed a wayyy better showing that doing what Kashimo did lol getting the last or seemingly last hit on injured combatants

Personally I don’t really like the idea of kashimo outspeeding sukuna in anything other than maybe the speed of their projectiles. I think it downplays the rest of the verses speed feats dramatically and makes everyone seem slower just to make sukuna look possibly a little smarter. Also I don’t really like the idea of kashimo’s technique not being very destructive. I think him being even more destructive and fast would raise the stakes and power level of the fight while not making everything else (like jogo’s fight) seem diluted. I think if gege just made the fight longer and made kashimo look as destructive or even more than ryu (who was in the same era as kashimo and implied to be weaker but never shown that he is for some reason) while still not making him quite as strong as gojo but still losing (while of course weakening him in some way)would make the gap of power between gojo and sukuna against the rest of the verse seem larger but not making anyone seem weaker. Also from a narrative perspective would make kashimo’s character and sukuna’s speech hit harder considering how minuscule he’d feel after. Love the video tho ❤❤❤

As much as I don’t really care for the Culling Game I think Gege could’ve made it longer to show the strength of more of its older participants

I would rewrite Kashimo from the time-skip onwards. First off, Kashimo should’ve learned Domain expansion, esp since he experienced Hikari, who was able to at-least (unarguably) put him in a stalemate, using a domain. Seeing how powerful it can be, esp around 3 people who could defeat him, Hikari, Yuta & Gojo. It makes absolutely no sense that he was around them for almost a full month and didn’t train with them AT ALL. He didn’t try Gojo Atleast ONCE? That makes no sense, all things considered esp his character. Next, now considering how Uraume vs Hikari went, I would’ve had Kashimo face off with Uraume, as Uraume has been shown to stand in for Sukuna, even doing so against Gojo, to their detriment. So Uraume hopping in (maybe even making an ice clone to fight Hikari?!) to fight for Sukuna while he was weak after Gojo’s fight just makes sense. Then we could see Hikari vs Uraume & Kashimo vs Uraume at the SAME TIME, to which both of them defeat their opponent. But we do see Uraume’s domain, Kashimo’s & Hikari’s (vs an opponents). We also get a much fuller Megu-kuna (still without Maho) fighting Kashimo. To which it could’ve been a much closer fight with Kashimo finishing off Megu-kuna and him going into his Heian body to which he then bodies Kashimo. Kashimo goes into MBA, pushing Sukuna but not too much. Just enough to amuse him, then he gets bored. Domain Clash. Sukuna’s domain dominates and kills Kashimo. (That way someone actually gets killed within a domain clash, in the series other than Gojo). We also would get to have Hikari in the Sukuna fight, to which some very interesting things could come up. Sukuna keeping Hikari in a stasis of healing by cutting him up over and over, could be one. Hikari failing to hit Jackpot and NOT being lucky for once. However, lucky in a different way as teammate saves him, possibly Miwa, with Simple Domain, or even Todo. Hikari & Todo anyone?! At the same time?! Would be SO HYPE! HIkari’s fever + Boogie Woogie just seems like a missed opportunity.

probally a controversial opinion, i believe ry was the strongest the edo period, my main argument being that he achieved domain expansion which is pinncle of jujutsu , I don't think kashimo has one

i would have Meguna claim that both Gojo and Kashimo are on the same level but fight different, since i dont think Gojo lasts much longer than Kashimo against a serious 4 arm world slash sukuna since he never dodged any slashes and 4 arms is 4 arms

I personally don’t think sukuna would have lasted too long in a fight against kashimo hence the immediate attack after he transformed

I wish the time skip was like 2 months or something like that and after 1 month kashimo is contemplating on if he should join the jumping or fight sukuna and he chooses to fight sukuna and megukuna 20 fingers could fight kashimo with this being a fight that leads to the creation of world slash like in this fight sukuna discovers a way to fuse cleave and dismantle to create a ranged cleave and this ranged cleave when used with a chant becomes the world slash also instead of having world slash being cutting the world it could be thinning the cleave blade to the subatomic level to bypass infinity and the way kashimo helps him unlock that is his subatomic sound blasts

Kenjaku vs Yuta also goes at the top of my list in wasted fights. We never actually got to see how strong Kenjaku was

Kashimo vs Sukuna being a filler fight really outweights any of the advantages you show in the video. Despite beings obviously fast, apart from his lightning attacks Kashimo has no outstanding speed feats. Yeah, lightning is fast, but Kashimo isn't lightning and his speed is never glazed (as much as Toji's or Naoya's, at least). If, idk, a previous Projection Sorcery user were to be established as a character of the Culling Games, or if Naoya faced Sukuna, then you can clearly recognize speed as the main advantage this "strong opponent" has, and then when Sukuna kills them you say "speed isnt enough". But this is still a relatively weak way to use the character, as: 1) Maki has already faced an opponent with overwhelming speed (human Naoya) and found a way to predict and defeat him hand to hand. We assume Sukuna to already have this level of Battle IQ by means of Mahoraga and Jogo, so this would only be a confirmation; 2) We already have Ishigoori as the "Sukuna kills powerful specialized character" thing, only with Attack Potency instead of Speed. Having it rinse and repeat over every possible battle feat is overkill and formulaic. I agree that a self-imposed Binding Vow over his CT was what needed to happen with Kashimo. I am still in disbelief Gege fumbled it that hard. Not only because this is very in character with Kashimo, as it shows confidence in his strength to face normal Culling Game opponents AND his desire to give it his all during the battle against Sukuna; Also because... One-time-use abilities, in general, are incredibly stupid. [ Unless its Mahoraga, which is a known kind of ability (shikigami) which use has been recorded many times (by previous 10S users who failed to tame it). ] E.G. the Carni stand user in JoJo's Part 5, who's existence is a known plothole. For the actual battle, my main desire is that it lasted longer. Sukuna liked to play with his food, as Higuruma's fight showed. Letting Kashimo stay alive for a couple of minutes would be in character for Sukuna. This time would be spent by Sukuna wondering about the specifications of Kashimo's technique, since EM waves are not something that can be seen or easily understood by someone from the year 1000. Kashimo would take advantage from this by using the "technique reveal" card to gain more power and entertain Sukuna more. Then, Kashimo would open his domain (because HE SHOULD HAVE ONE). Now, since Mythical Amber Beast is not centered around damaging or affecting an opponent (and the EM thing is just an application of the technique's effects), Kashimo's domain would only increment his technique's capabilities. Kashimo would be able to alter his body in much more interesting and powerful ways, similarly to Yorozu's ferrofluid. Then, once inside the domain, Sukuna stops playing as he has no domain of his own to answer. With Shrine, Sukuna manages to overwhelm Kashimo inside his own domain, and could even use Kamino against him (since Kashimo is one single opponent, and its usage could be hidden with the fact that the other characters don't know what's going on inside the domain). Anyways, Sukuna hurts Kashimo enough for the domain to collapse, and then waffles him with the World-Cutting Slash.

It feels overlooked that the Waffled World Slash has to be the strongest form of that Attack that Sukuna could throw out i feel like that speaks to his respect for Kashimo’s strength the other JJK sorcery were getting offed with attacks way less powerful

Ngl Kashimo not having an actual fight with Sukuna really made me question his place as "The Strongest" and, therefore, his solitude. I think the fight should've been done in a way that showcased Kashimo's strength(which, i believe, should place him at no 3 to validate his existence in The Strongest). However, in order to show off Sukuna, he should counter damn near everything Kashimo throws at him in order to showcase his sheer mastery in jujutsu. For example, i beleive Kashimo should've had a domain that he casted after getting pressed by 4 arms Sukuna, and Sukuna notes on the sheer refinement of his domain after it manages to crack Sukuna's anti-domain technique, which has Sukuna note that only Gojo's would have done this. However, as the ADT breaks, Sukuna chants a World Slash, following it with that cold 'Dodge this' line, getting it off just before Kashimo's Sure Hit breaks his barrier. The World Slash chops off Kashimo's arm, breaking Kashimo's domain. That's how I imagine a Kashimo domain would've gone against Sukuna.

One way to fix the Sukuna and Kashimo is for him to take out one of Sukuna’s staff Hetein. Like what if Uraume air dropped Sukuna both of his og weapons and we get to see Hein form suku at full full power with the staff as well. Kashimo taking out Hetein would give him sm more clout than cannon. 💯

I would’ve given him a domain expansion and make him do some damage to Sukuna after true form (idk, reflecting Kamutoke’s lightning and catching Sukuna off guard)

I genuinely think it’s a shame that sukuna didn’t witness kashimo’s sure hit without a domain, people really underestimate how crazy of a feat that is and would cost any sorcerer a lot of ce to use RCT as often as he can output his sure hit, I think sukuna would be shook that this random guy can create a sure hit without needing to use a trump card like a domain It’s funny you say use a binding vow to amp his Ct cause that’s what majority of jjk fans thought he did

I think the scale of that space cutting slash showcased perfectly how strong kashimo was . I don’t think people understand the attack sukuna sent at him. NO ONE could have evaded or survived that attack.

As much as i am a kashimo fan the fight did what it was supposed to but i think the anime will do it justice just how sukuna vs mahoraga was like 10 pages and in the anime it was a 20min fight

With your version of the story Sukuna could also pull out Mahoraga and to try and test if he could use Mahoraga's adaptation for himself and how, instead of him just knowing it all of the sudden.

I’d rewrite Kashimo and sukuna as kashimo burns out his curse technique against sukuna and sukuna beat him by the world dismantle, after a long fought out fight showcase high level technical fights between two of the strongest in two different eras, ultimately ending in sukuna being pushed to the brink and having to use his second form to defeat such a powerful foe.

Having Kashimo lose to Sukuna so quickly is something the did make me a little annoyed when I first read, but now that the series is nearing its end I can sort of see why it happened the way it did. After all we just got done with Gojo vs Sukuna. If Kashimo vs Sukuna was so big then it would basically be two big fights back to back followed by Kenjaku vs Comedian as the only break, which would then go into Sukuna vs everyone else. Giving Kashimo a bigger battle lasting more then one chapter would be difficult and would just make the long and tedious battle even longer. Having him fight Sukuna during the one month time skip could sort of help with this but it'd ultimate be the same thing. Kashimo vs Sukuna as a bigger battle, then Gojo vs Sukuna, and then Kenjaku vs the Comedian, and then back to everyone vs Sukuna. It would just be nonstop battles with very little filler. This is actually one of my biggest gripes with JJK as a whole but that's a whole other discussion. I think Kashimo could be a good character and have a good fight if given enough time, but doing this would definitely require JJK extending well past where it is and keep going for a bit longer. In a perfect world this is what I would do for Kashimo To start with we change the Culling Game. Kashimo vs Hakari no longer happens. I know this is a good fight and sets up Hakari's character but this is focused just on Kashimo. I'm going to basically swap Hakari and Yuta's opponents. Kashimo will fight Yuta and Hakari will fight Ryu. Hakari somehow pulls out a W it doesn't really matter. What mainly matters is Kashimo vs Yuta. I would do this fight to basically set Kashimo up as being a lot stronger then he was in cannon. We know how strong Yuta is for the most part due to chapter 0. In this version of JJK have Kashimo be very skilled and strong, even more so in cannon, able to keep up with Yuta to an extent without his CT. Kashimo still can only use his power once and wants to save it for Sukuna so the battle is ultimately Kashimo who has no CT vs Yuta, the guy who has copy and has a ton of powers. Realistically Yuta would likely beat Kashimo easily but in here Kashimo is a lot stronger and fighting even. They banter for a bit going back and forth and it would eventually end with Yuta claiming the W but not killing Kashimo. He'd state Kashimo is strong and might have even won if he pulled his CT out. This sets up some stuff later and makes Kashimo comes off a bit more impressive then in the Hakari fight. Next I would have the series continue as normal up to the training time skip. Instead of a sudden jump cut Kashimo would decide to challenge Sukuna now that Sukuna was basically at full strength. He would also do this because he didn't want someone like Gojo stealing the kill. Kashimo would fight Sukuna who is in Megumi's body and the two would do battle. I would have this fight basically be a demo to the Gojo vs Sukuna fight. Meguna in his battle with Megumi's sister used only 10 shadows to show how impressive it was, but for this battle I would have Sukuna use only his OG CT. I'd also have this be the set up to him getting the world cutting slash. Basically he's using Kashimo as a testing dummy trying to find strats for his up coming battle with Gojo. This would not only show how strong Sukuna is, something we still know, but it would show that he really didn't need Megumi's body for anyone other then Gojo has his raw skills are beating Kashimo. Kashimo would begin to get pushed more and more and start to lose but would continue to give it his all. As he fights he would decide it is finally time to risk his life and would activate his full power using his CT. The one he saved just for Sukuna. He'd start to do a bit better and fight off the slashes now that he can see them and would actually begin to get a few hits in, though Sukuna still hasn't popped his domain and is just using his normal abilities. During this fight I would have it take a small break and actually have Sukuna begin to think back on his past as he battles Kashimo. I know it might be out of character, but eh. I really just want a Sukuna flash back if I'm honest. This would happen mainly because of how intense Kashimo is fighting. Sukuna showed in his battle with people like Jogo, and even Gojo he can respect them and form a connection with them even if it is a twisted hateful one. This flashback would basically show odd Sukuna's story and whatever other plot relevant junk that needs to be revealed like Kenjaku and the likes. It'd be probably ten or so chapters and would finish with showing Sukuna's origin. For people that don't like that you can instead have this flash back come from the ice person that hangs around Sukuna and have it be from their POV instead if you want Sukuna's story to remain hidden. The main take away is it would set up Sukuna as a more proper character and his views on the world and Kenjaku. It would then cut back to the present where Sukuna would keep battling Kashimo. Thanks to his CT Kashimo is dodging all the sliced since he can see them now. I would have this be the moment where Sukuna begins to truly create the blue print for the world cutting slash by creating a cut that can't be seen. This would also set up how Gojo is caught off guard by it as he wouldn't be able to see it, and this is the attack that would ultimately kill Kashimo, with Sukuna doing it all without using his domain. Kashimo would die and get his quick heaven scene and have his last words with Sukuna, who is now ready for his battle with Gojo. I would then add one last mini arc maybe a chapter or two of the JJK gang actually training and getting ready just on the off chance Gojo loses, once again truly setting up how dangerous Sukuna is since they're even considering that. It would also break up the flow of constant heavy action and could give Yuta and Hakari a bit more screen time. From there the series goes as normal, but now Kashimo's death is what Sukuna uses to start the process of his world cutting slash, and after he beats Gojo he would just instantly go into his four armed form.

My only point of disagreement is "the purpose of their fight being to make sukuna look stronger". I thought the point of the fight was to further the philosophies of sukuna and how they differ from other "strongest sorcerers".

The only way to fix Kahsimo vs Sukuna is by giving Kashimo help. Every sorcerer that has had a 1v1 moment with Sukuna was getting washed. Gojo put up the best fight but died. Yuta had Yuuji. Maki had a short bout with him where he was throwing her across buildings and speedblitzed her like twice until she had help. Yuuji was getting beat so bad he couldn't land a good hit in his own domain until Megumi and Nobara helped. And this was Sukuna that was weaker than his 15 fingers mode. But the problem is Kashimo did not like jumping. So he would have to concede on his way of thinking.

Just make it a jogo vs sukuna type fight atp because kashimo being the fastest in the verse would be glaze 😭

Your version is 100% better but under one circumstance, that Kashimo gets waffled as that is the absolute point of his character.

The translation I read of his CT was “Mythical beast Amber, reconstructs flesh to manifest phenomena.” So just make him like Marvel’s Spectrum. He could become any phenomenon/energy. Kashimo would be like the main characters in the infamous verse, but the limited information of his generation limited him to electricity. Now with modern information, he could become any phenomenon. The fight would go the same way all the way to the waffle moment, but that's when his body becoming the phenomenon comes in handy, making him just like a one-piece logia user. That would not be the only surprise, Kashimo would become tachyonic particles, pushing Sukuna, becoming too fast to keep up with, with Kashimo only getting faster, because it would use up less energy than slowing down. Destroying his body at the same time. Kashimo would need to adapt his mind, and senses to operate at those speeds, while Sukuna’s forced to create slashes that can get around Kashimo’s logia-like body, rapidly evolving his regular slashes like Jack from black clover.

dawg the jogoat glaze is real, nobody who watches jjk blind and also doesn't powerscale and stuff is saying jogo is strong, he suffers from the same issue as kashimo because the two people he fought were the strongest and he got embarrassed both times, literally his only feats against people who can be properly scaled by the average viewer is when he blitzed naobito zenin. like I get it, jogo is strong as fuck, but the average viewer is NOT saying jogo is strong on first viewing.
