Yet Thousands of Chinese Citizens are trying to sneak into the USA, and China has announced that it will not take back its' citizens who are not allowed to stay in the USA. Odd no?
The West often relies on anecdotes in their accusations against China. Eric Li is one of the few who consistently exposes and addresses these issues. Jing should be less apologetic when faced with such questions.
An excellent interview. Less emotions and set views by the interviewer and the honesty of the interviewed. It's a credit to Mr Rachman for ensuring a great interview. Kiyu Jin may be an optimist. A very articulate optimist. Sadly learning from the recent past there is a strong likelihood of conflict. This may be the only solution for the US in its efforts to stop China's drive to becoming the largest global economy. Thank you for this interview.
The issue of per capita spending can be answered relatively. Whether China will reach the $30,000 per capita income to match the US is a bit of a red herring. For example, an EV car in China costs a third of the price of one sold in the US. A $30 restaurant meal can feed a family of four well, while the same amount probably only feeds one person in the US. 🤷🏻
it's very thought provoking on the push out of charging stations. US infrastucture is never the priority anymore ... the thing is now a day they have another condition to deal with. having too many masters and you don't want to do something for people and piss off the oil companies ... having a sole authority to push policy certainly have its advantage, but without it is still fine. But having elections being bought and sold, that inserts another layer of difficulty to what policy government trying to push ... it's not just climate, medicare, minimum wage, housing, retirement ... all comes to mind ...
The Bottomline is that the USA can contain China with one simple act. Make it illegal for American financial firms to invest in China - this will stop all cashflow from the USA as well as most of their allies. Introduce absolute trade barriers to all key sectors of China's economy - telecommunications, vehicles, electronics, medical, batteries, and steel. The most effective way to do this would be to introduce quotas that reduce China's imports by 25% each year so that in 4 years there are 0 imports from China. If during this time China changes it's political direction then the process can be stopped or reversed but under Xi this is unlikely. This is the best way to contain China and prevent a war.
When he asked again and again the A4 paper demonstration, what Jing would have responded with but instead tried hard to avoid responding with is the truth that, That demonstration was too small by truth to be known to the Chinese people but reported huge so he concerned a lot
USA intentionally and unintentionally ignores the reality the USA and the West had been declining drastically since 2016/17, so a number of stupid questions had been asked meaninglessly.
She is an apologist for the communist party. Her father was a big-shot economist who served as minister for the party at one point. She is touting the party lines.
Unfortunately, no arrogant dictatorship can escape the international financial trilemma, the Phillips curve, and Okun's law. Therein lies the dilemma for the Chinese Communist Party. In order for a currency to gain trust as an international currency, it requires a highly transparent legal system and its operation, a well-developed financial market, and free capital movement. From that point of view, there are many challenges to the internationalization of the CNY. In terms of gaining trust, China's relatively strict controls on cross-border capital flows are a hurdle for the internationalization of the CNY.
she only said what she felt she could say,,,,,theres a warmonger at the top who just wants a bit of democractic land to say how good am I ????What about all the corruption????? Her messge is believe me there is a status quo ,honestly
I don’t think you know what the word warmonger means. That’s what you’ll use to describe the USA who has been waging wars nonstop. China hasn’t fired a single bullet against an enemy since 1979.
