Nothing wrong with the IVF just me, i had another son at 5 months, daughter after him came at 6 months and my twins came at 7½ months, I just have problems carrying kids.

In vitro fertilization can be a touchy subject, but when used the right way for the right reasons it can be very useful to people who need it. Ways it can be useful for people is if the husband or wife has infertility or if either of them has a cancer that doesn’t allow them to be able to conceive or for homosexual couples who can’t conceive naturally. Just because someone is unable to make a child doesn’t mean they can never have any ever. This is a way for people to be able to have their own child, with their own genetic makeup. The people who are unable to have their own children shouldn’t be punished. In vitro fertilization is their way out of their sticky situation. Yes, it may not be natural but we have the technology to give people a child even when they may not be able to normally. It is not like the parents are specifically “picking out” their child. They are randomly taking eggs out of the woman’s ovary and fertilizing them with a random sperm from the male and putting the finished product back in the woman’s uterus after about five days to finish its development before birth. Essentially, everything is happening, just not in the body. But, this is what has to happen for some people so they can have a child. No one should be denied the gift of a child, no matter how it came about.

My husband is missing his vas deferens. I have pcos. We’re starting the IVF process and we couldn’t be more excited. People saying “adopt”. It’s not that easy. And other than our issues we’re completely healthy adults. We deserve to create a part of ourselves. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it controversial? Sure. But we plan to have every embryo we create become a loved part of our family. That’s our biggest thing. We won’t let a healthy BABY go unloved. We understand what it entails. And we accept the journey we’re on.

I had 2 ectopic pregnancies by the time I was 25. Spent 5 years saving to do ivf. Had my son. 5 years later just transferred my last 2 frozen embryos. I think I'm pregnant but will take the test tomorrow morning. If I am it will basically be an unimaginable joy that i thought impossible for me. Ivf is so hard. So many variables. Although if it were free I would do it again.

@@askosefamerve I was but ended up not being viable. I had a positive pregnancy test at home but the blood work and ultrasound at the clinic showed that the embryo was too small. Miscarried after I stopped all the medication. It's a tough road. Doing better now might try one more round of ivf.

As for the method of injecting one sperm into the egg, may i know how do they choose the best sperm among the millions?

@salma5202
@salma5202 9 лет назад
미셜비 Except that a sperm doesn't need to "swim" if it's already directly inserted into the egg. The flagellum is there for the sperm's journey through the uterus and to the egg only.

They just say fuck it I guess but if they did study the sperm they could determine genetic traits such as a possible skin tone and avoid passing on genetic diseases

@CrxyLinda
@CrxyLinda 5 лет назад
They weed out the defective ones, two tails, swimming in circles, etc, since they only need the head for the genetic materials, the defective ones may not fertilize correctly and cause defects in the baby as well.

I also had my baby through an IVF, after a long struggle to get pregnant, I met with Ingenes in Mexico City and they were able to help me make my dream come true. They have the best technology and gave me peace of mind knowing that my baby would come without diseases. Most cases are treatable, do not be afraid and fight for your dream.
