Hey... Dear Stupid children...! 😍 Humble request from your brother - "Please choose movies that has more content than just commercial elemental happiness.." 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 You haven't yet touched the top class performances and Scripts of Indian cinema but, still wandering only in some fancy stuff... Ha hha, with all due respect please watch, at least this year (2020), movies from malayalam. Here are some choices to choose and most of these are National award winning movies and others are runner ups or of top class performances... "Vanaprastham, kalapani, Bharatham, Sadayam, Nammukku parakkan munthirithoppukal, padhamudra, Thoovanathumbikal, Dasaradham, Spadikam, Iruvar, Thanmathra, Pranayam and Bramaram" of Mohanlal sir and "Thaniyavarthanam, Vidheyan, Pondhanmada, Oru vadakkan veeragadha, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedhkar, Peranpu" and also, so many films of other actors too..... ☝️🙏🏻😍

It's not just the Golden Temple, almost any and ALL gurudwaras (Sikh temple) will have free 24x7 food and the small ones will have free food but maybe not late at night. In terms of resources, they are either donated in kind (shop owners will usually donate flour, ghee, soap etc) or monetary donations (either directly to the kitchen or to the temple in general). Anyone can volunteer for certain parts of the supply chain. It is a phenomenal experience and I really hope you guys can go and see it first hand.

Amritsar is a food heaven. It is said that noone sleeps hungry ever in Amritsar. I have experienced it first hand. I reached the bus station late at night around 2 am. Was hungry as i didn't eat anything before boarding the bus to avoid puking. I was wondering if i will get food that late and to my delight the rickshaw i took to my hotel first took me to a small eatery run by a retired army cook who fed me to my fill despite having closed the shop. Will never forget the "Army Hotel".

As someone who grew up in the sikh community i can add some more info: 1. You can have as much as you want, no limits. But how much can a person eat anyway haha. 2. Yeah the resources are all donated. We as sikhs are encouraged to donate atleast 1/10th of the income. 3. Anyone can volunteer as long as you ask politely. 4. The word volunteer seems bit weird. For us its just way of life. You just grow up watching everyone doing it. So it just becomes second nature. 5. Every Sikh temple has free kitchen. The amount of food can be provided depends on the resources colleted by the temple. 6. The meal is designed to be well balanced meal. Proteins from dal, carbs from bread and rice and healthy fats from milk based foods. Hope that helps. 😊 To add on: My mom and dad both carry a mini sword (Kirpan). It is one of the 5 symbols we carry (i don't though). It is just used as a symbol. Very blunt, can cut an apple with it at most. I have never seen anyone misusing it. It represents our value to protect others and yourself as our history was very violent.

There was no decent restaurant or hotel on the way, and we all started fretting until we saw a Gurudwara. Many religions which was started from our country follow tolerance, humanity, peace, diversity( different opinions). Also we don't have a history of fighting with each other. Well in almost every temple or gurudwara or maţh or dharmshala of India whenever food is served then to eat there, you need only one thing and that is 'hunger'. It doesn't matter who you are you will be served for sure. But in Harmandir saheb (golden temple) it happens on a huge scale 🥰 And yes Rick anyone can volunteer there ✌ Apart from these, there are hundreds of organizations which runs on the money collected from the temples of india and serves thousands of people everyday. It's called 'Seva' which is the core of any known faith that came out of india.

Can we talk about how outstandingly delicious food served in holy places is? Whether the khichdi (rice and lentil soup)served in temples and Pandals during Durga Puja or the daal roti (bread and lentil curry) served in gurudwaras. Try cooking the same meal at home and the taste will NOT be the same! I think divinity is the secret ingredient that makes the food served in holy places so amazing to taste! :)

Here's an incredible story about the sikhs. The sikhs were a contet for casual joke tellers back in the day. So one day a couple from elzwhere in India get into a taxi if a Sardarji(sikhs are affectionately called that). So the guy started cracking some classical and usually offensive sardarji jokes and continued doing so the whole trip. The Sardarji dint react to any of it. Instead he joined in the laughter. But at the end of the trip he gave the guy a one rupee coin and told him "sir keep this 1 rupee, give this ruppee to the first sikh beggar you find in Delhi." The guy couldnt find one sikh beggar in the city. Sikhs are hard working, generous, brave, patriotic people. Love the culture. Love the religion. Love the people.

Sikhs are really humble and responsible human beings. They are always giving back to the society which gave them the space to grow. in Germany as well, all Sikh Gurudwars and some Hindu Temples serve free food on Weekends. They made me feel closer to home during my time at the university where you don't have much money to afford a lavish Indian meal. Now i try to help those small temples back in any little way i can since i have started to earn. We are also taught to always not forget and respect the hands that feed you.

It's an amazing fact that Sikh people have the biggest and warmest hearts. It's the ultimate "seva" (Sanskrit for selfless service) to volunteer your time at a Gurudwara. Getting to volunteer at the Golden Temple is the biggest sense of happiness and joy for them. I know a friend, he is the Director of a big advertising company in Mumbai, who flies to Amritsar every year on his birthday to help by polishing shoes and washing the utensils used for serving langar (the meal shown in the video). And at the end of the night he goes and volunteers his name again for next year same date, same seva. I asked him once why he does it one year in advance, he said "otherwise I'll not get the opportunity, since there is a long waiting list of people from all over India and Canada, who would like to be allowed to serve at the temple" Truly exemplary 👏👏👏👏

Yes, you can volunteer or have a free meal at any time at any gurdwara ( place where sikhs worship) regardless of your religion, race, nationality and gender. All the resources are donated by sikhs who pull out 10% of their annual income to contribute to serving people ( seva) as it is one of the key principle of sikhism. Fun fact - Golden temple has been awarded as ‘the most visited place of the world’ by ‘world book of records (WBR)’. More than 200,000 people visit everyday. The infrastructure has a special message in itself- it has four main doors to enter to represent inclusivity. Everybody is welcomed regardless of anything but has only one door to inside the temple representing no matter what your religion is, we all are walking towards the path of one god as there is only one god (another principle of sikhism) Also, it is made below ground level ( you have to step downstairs to reach) indicating that once you shed your ego and become humble is when you can experience god. Apart from the community kitchen there are a lot of things and experiences you can have while you there. For me personally it is the calmness, peace and positive vibes. Must visit.
