After the 1st month of the 2023-24 college basketball season, Indiana State has the best effective field goal percentage (eFG%) in the nation at 62.1%. This is based off adjusting for 3pt field goals.

ISU plays with such a high-level of understanding in regards to what the defense will do in reaction to their movements, and they are hyper focused on making the simple play on-time, all the time. There's so much to learn from how easy they make the game look, because they share the ball, have great spacing, and have very skilled players.
