Any sell on clause for Greenwood only applies to the amount greater than whatever his next club buys him for. E.g. - we sell Greenwood for £30mil. - He gets sold on for £70mil. - we only get X percentage of the difference between our sale price and his future sale price, - in this example we would get an additional £20mil if there is a 50% sell-on clause.
Yoro is a better deal than De Ligt. Even if Yoro wants to go to Madrid in 5 years, at that point, he's 23, and United can make a good profit on the sale. In 5 years' time, De Ligt is 29 and can't be sold at a profit. If Yoro says longer than 5 years, he can, without United losing value.

Haven't seen him play, so excuse the ignorance.. But Leny Yoro's defensive stats are terrible. He ranks in the bottom 1% of all defenders in blocks, bottom 20% in aerials, bottom 30% in clearances and tackles. What am I missing with him? Even his progressive passing rate is in the bottom 16%.
In his highlight compilation he looks technically sound and fluid, and being so young I suppose he has time to grow stronger, but is he really a great fit at United? I can see how Madrid would want him, he can use those skills effectively as they just dominate possession against lesser teams, but a team that needs to actually defend like United wouldn't De Ligt or Branthewaite make a lot more sense?
