I recall that when I was a much younger and immature INTP, I used to avoid my type as if they were the black plague. I know now that I knew at least unconsciously that I often saw myself in them, and was repulsed by the things I least liked about myself in them. Now as I learned to be more self aware and learned to accept myself, I know greatly enjoy the company of my fellow INTP’s.

Yes, you want your base life to run with a minimum of hassle so you are free to think about the big stuff freely.
@dumdum8538
@dumdum8538 3 месяца назад
It's not really routine or stability in the classic sense tho, like a family and a 9 to 5 job. It's mostly a basic low maintenance and predictable lifestyle. To me it means working remotely via internet without a rigid schedule but with fixed tasks, a decent payment and a predictable outcome (so i'm not tied to any location or time of the day and can move freely (or sleep as much as I want hehehe) but still have enough money to live comfortably) and my own appartment in a quiet place but nearby all the necessary services (so I'll always have a peaceful home to come back to). To me it's perfect when I can go on an adventure almost anytime but after the adventure is over I can go back to my comfort space. A classic 9 to 5 job sounds hellish to me, I hate being physically tied to a place. But classic freelace where you search for new tasks everytime also sounds horrible, I want everything about my finances to be as predictable and simple as possible. I feel like it's inxp's nature - to want a life where they can establish their own personalized routine and regime. Because I used to forever clash with time when I was still in school/college. I was constantly late for classes, or just skipped them at all. Because if I don't want to do something - I'm not gonna do it. If I feel like researching something right here right now - that's what I'm doing. And the need to go to school to do a completely different thing would always make me soooo miserable, omg.

@@abracadabra8033Exactly. They're not exclusive to each other, anyway. Like finishing an assessment like usual but today we want to do it in another way, but still hoping that the result would be just the same as yesterday and not suddenly go drastically up or down. I want to go home in different way and maybe getting lost a bit, but still arrive at my home safe and secure like always. I dunno, I hope I worded them right, lol.

(INTJ) My INTP twin brother and I often clash in expansion and contraction. Where one wants to keep expanding, the other wants to contract, and vice-versa. One immediate example that springs to mind is when we're writing musical tracks. While my brother keeps wanting to jam out new material, I keep wanting to finish existing songs. He writes a zillion tracks that are ninety seconds long, I write a few that are seven minutes long.

INFJ here. There is something about Fe that makes me conflict-averse and emphasising too much on harmony. Both my INTP and INTJ friends often tell me to be direct about the truth during arguments or that I don't have to signify the other views if I'd be in a disadvantage position, because being blunt is a more effective approach. They remind me that my own diplomacy can take an emotional toll on myself sometimes. This was more awkward if my view clashed with them, but I digressed talking about that topic when it started to get heated, my Fe can't.
@AlexandraStubbs
@AlexandraStubbs 7 месяцев назад
Same for me to as an INFJ. I agree with you completely.😂
@KarlJeager
@KarlJeager 7 месяцев назад
But has being blunt actually been more effective for them or did it just make them feel superior? In my experience you can't win an argument if your goal is to change you opponents mind, changing another's mind can be done in a discussion but the second you escalate it to the oppositional form of an augment you lose, since no matter how solid your logic or clear your evidence they won't allow themselves to accept it and therefore lose. As far as I can tell the only use for an argument is to convince onlookers whilst making the person you are arguing with hate you. Some of this may be useful to them in making sure they know what their goal in an interaction is and being mindful of how to get there, look better than their opponent? argue away. Change the other person's thoughts or behaviours? Perhaps better to sneak those ideas in by a side door rather than banging drums and screaming war cries as they lay siege to the fortress. Theoretically an INTP here if that helps.
@solarisan_
@solarisan_ 7 месяцев назад
Imagine thinking about Jesus, Gandhi or any other INFJ (most which are typed in different categories) as conflict-averse. Even as a kid, Jesus would start talking with older people, considered experts at the time and challenge their views. Gandhi was a successful lawyer before he decided to leave it all and fight for social change. Harmony doesn’t equal conflict-averse. It is very much so proactive in that area of harmony. But nothing is ever dictated by it since it is only an auxiliary functions that helps break the combo between abstract and logical reasoning that would otherwise go in a loop.
@kdak1533
@kdak1533 7 месяцев назад
@@solarisan_ you are right, however, I found that certain conflicts can be mentally draining. Unless they are a good catalyst of change and/or the other person can handle conflict maturely or pretty well. Embracing conflict can be quite healthy. On default mode however, I opt to avoid it as it could be draining when it ends up in drama...

I've never clashed more than with ESTJs. I think it's the hardest type for INTPs to get along with. They have all the traits that INTPs loath to deal with: they're rigidly attached to their way of thinking and living, they live at a pace that is too fast for INTPs and judge others for not living at the same pace, they favor action over understanding, they're bossy often to the point of bullying, and while they typically strive for fairness they're slow to recognize that justice/fairness requires making legitimate exceptions. The worst jobs I've had were with ESTJ managers. After I got a degree in Computer Science and became a software engineer, one of the best perks was no longer having to deal with managers of this type (and it's probably the most common type in middle management). They all seem to have the same ridiculous cliches, like "arrive at 9am means arrive at 830am," "if you have time to lean you have time to clean," and other nonsense. Now I get to work in a community of far more reasonable people, we get way more done, and if I get a bad boss I just take my skills elsewhere anyways. My grandfather is an ESTJ and we didn't get along when he was younger. And I say "when he was younger" because it took old age and becoming elderly to chill him out. I think the recognition that his years are short has finally detached him from getting rigidly precise outcomes and making the world in a very certain way. Or maybe he's just become wise to the value of detachment. In any case, old age has chilled him out and virtually everyone that knows him says he's much easier to get along with. Even though we don't extensively share interests, I do make a concerted effort to connect with him in a way he can understand (college football, investing, and our mutual interest in our family seem to be our common topics) while moderating the amount of time we spend together. As a result our relationship is quite pleasant now and I look forward to seeing him...but hooboy if his judgmentalism and need to control everything didn't take its toll earlier in life.

I'm glad you had a chance to relate to your grandad. I agree ESTJs are the worst (micro) managers and aren't comfortable unless the people beneath them have PTSD. Mine would call me at home during the pandemic 10 times a day to 'check up' on what I was working on and screamed at me if I asked her any questions. It was horrible. Oddly she was the one making huge stuff ups and was barely contrite about it, citing 'human error'. Good riddance!

ESTJ w/ INTP son - I really have to convince him that I am not pointing our that his homework is late, his room is a mess, he has ketchup in his hair, etc. , to oppress him but because I am trying to help him, lol. I have learned to explain conceptually why he should do x tihng and then leave him alone to internalize it and then he will do it himself. I also try not to interrupt him when he is in withdrawn mode. He's very wary of accepting my endless stream of life experience and anecdotes and quotes from books he hasn't read, he wants to test for himself. I hand him the book instead of explaining it to him myself. He's much more endearing than I am, fortunately.

The important part is for the rules you impose on him to make it matter to /him/. Sometimes, yes there is ketchup in our hair, but the minor inconvenience of it looking weird or feeling sticky isn't worth the effort of cleaning it up. I’m an INTP and my boyfriend is ESFJ. We do clash in a lot of ways but I think I’m better for it. It amazes me how he always notices the details, what other people care about and how they feel. It makes him a great partner. He always notices small things like if I change my hair or do my makeup different. He knows immediately if I am upset about something, which is helpful because I often have a hard expressing myself. His social skills really seem like a superpower to me. Main thing we get in fights over is decision making. If we’re planning something he gets stressed when I make up too many options, but I don’t like feeling boxed in by having a set plan, and it’s literally impossible for me to make a decision on the spot like he can.

My brother-in-law is an INTP, and I'm an ISTJ. We can sometimes bond in highly logical conversations in a way others in my family cannot, but we do clash often, and we irritate each other. Some of it is in the weird details he thinks are relevant while competely disregarding important ones (I chalk this up to a Te vs Ti disagreement). I think more often we clash because in the middle of our very logical conversation, he'll suddenly hit an Fi brick wall in me, and I will no longer entertain his ideas. It seems to take him by surprise every time because my logic is usually more evident, until it isn't. He gets extremely irritated when this happens.

I'd call my life a sea of instability with a stable island in the center. I can only do what I wanna do in the moment, so everyday is a new story. But I want EVERYTHING about my physical well-being to be as predictable as possible, all of my needs should be covered, I should feel no anxiety about money, food and a roof above my head. But I would never want to spend 8-10 hours on a job that would pin me down to one location. So I work remotely on myself, spending around 3-5 hours a day with a decent payment. I always dreamed of traveling to different cities and countries. I want to visit as many places as possible, to experience the hustle and bustle of life, to stay at one place and then move to the other. But I would never wanna live without a fixed residence. On top of that, I would never wanna live somewhere with a lot of hustle and bustle. I want to have a quiet home in some peaceful place, my comfort zone I can always return to. Plans are a whole different topic. I hate making short-term plans, I NEVER accomplish them, cuz when the time comes I don't care about them anymore. But I get extremely lost in life without long-term planning. Like, I wanna just do whatever I feel like doing at any given moment but then when the high of impulsive fun goes away I want to just take a look at my long-term plan and be like "Oh, right, that's what I NEED to do, k, let's do that now", lol.

Odd, I really only remember observing the whole "being quick to make a conclusion and overlooking due nuance" thing Te types rather than Se preferers. Se is just as exploratory as Ne, just in a different realm. I think we have a mutual extroverted perceiving function understanding, if that makes sense. It's a sort of "that's cool, I'll give you the moment to do your thing and we can do mine in a bit" vibe. I think the best way to give an example of Te going a bit too fast would be my family's worries about Ai taking over everything. They're like "it can think for itself, so what if it figures out how to rewrite its programming?" That's an argument that gets the end result if ai operating: coming to a decision, but completely overlooking the proceas by which it gets there. It needs base perameters, is still pretty dumb, and nobody is going to put an ai behind something like a turret, at least without a human finalizing every firing decision. Ai ethics is an entire field, and yet they don't care because "it can think for itself." Te sees what, but sort of disregards how. If anything, INTP and ISTP clash in a similar way to how INTP does with ESFP: INTP is willing to entertain more in the abstract realm than ISTP is willing to follow. This seems less about them jumping to a conclusion and more about not caring enough to get so anstract. This was a real roundabout way to say that I don't think ISTPs jump to conclusions, just that they won't go to the same lengths to answer some questions, and that description of ISTP better fits my experience with ENTJ. That's Ne for you. -INTP

My intp husband gets frustrated with me, because for him, he's just trying to share this "wow, how cool is this!? I read an article that says xyz advances in technology" but my immediate reaction goes to "what's the matter with these people, have they never read dystopian fiction/watched Jurrasic Park?!?!??" And when I bite back my true feelings to try to be just interested in the actual item under discussion, the best I can do is to nod and say "mmmm!" But my face tells the story, even to my intp who isn't great at reading faces.😅 I think it's a combination of my Fi values tending towards Luddite and my Te trying to find some sort of practical use for it, and together they overpower the Ne interest in everything, and instead my Ne goes wild coming up with worst case scenarios, with the Si whispering in the back "what would Grandma think about this?"

INTP vs INTP would have been good to analyse too! My partner and I are both INTPs, and there is a lot to be said about the proverbial schlong-measuring contests that can happen between people with the same cognitive priority stack and similar intellect, but slightly different skills and opinions. Especially for young or immature INTPs, who over-represent terminally online trolls that want to fight with anyone and everyone like underdeveloped ENTPs, coming up against someone who knows all your tricks as well as you do can make for some spicy clashes. As an INTP that's been absorbing cognitive function stuff for a few years now, I've found, curiously, that in getting enough of a handle on the whole system to be able to figure out what two functions someone is slamming me with the most and subsequently figuring out what type they likely are, I don't have a whole lot of clashes. If someone's being obnoxious I'll tap out, but on the whole the whole cognitive function thing has helped me get to the point I can basically get along with anyone. The nerdier the better, but hey, I'm just as happy letting an Fi bleed their heart out and calling it a bonding moment. If anything I reckon it's observers I'll find more challenging to get on with. Their lack of insight (having just one primary way of viewing the world) frustrates me, and the conspiratorial nature of where it can sometimes lead is head-wrecking. Other deciders just look stubborn/bullheaded to me if they're immature, but usually have enough of a balance in their observers that at least they're not buying into nonsense, just being selfish.

My bestie is an INTP & he often doesn't understand what he calls my (infj) 'kitten mittening' of people. Believe me, I'd love nothing more than to always 'give it to them straight'. However in my experience, that can backfire as much as kitten mittening. The thing is I'm always looking at the long game- not the immediate one (another infj problem me thinks😆). BUT yes, having enough respect for someone's intellect/ego to handle the 'straight' usually plays into my decision to give it or not. So if I've underestimated- then it can lead to problems. Because intellectually & emotionally savvy people usually figure out that's what I've done & it's a hard thing for a relationship to recover from.

As INTP... I know that INTP's can get stuck on random stuff, sometimes not of their choosing, they try to constantly think about stuff no matter how much low iq they are it is just in their nature. For example yesterday/ doday ... as it was around midnigt got me thinking... That I unconciously try to choose not awailable people, I don't know why I would say that it is something that my brain is used to so it constantly tryes to in some cases undermine you just to stay on its path. Because it was conversation about other people and I as right edgelord said something about people with basically stems from my trust issues. But thats not that important, what is more important is that I basically kinda ignored the good, like not that I didn't acknowledge good deeds, it is more like I know people do it, yet I choose not to trust them with it, I mean it is not like my life is riddlet with bad people. Maybe I am just choosing bad people, but to be honest it takes experience, look most of the people has this weird instinct that will tell them "yeah I don't really want to be with that person" but some people have it little bit twisted UNLESS they encounter new experience (that couldhave to be repeated maybe several times even) to actually teach the person that "yeah that person is weird go away". What if... clashes go more from this, than acctually mbti typing,, alto I kinda agree with some :D

While I get your reinterpretation of GRRM's Architect versus Gardener comments on writing and how you mean it to apply to INTPs and INTJs, as an INTJ with a "Gardener" writing style, I can't help but be annoyed. So now I'm going to digress upon that topic. GRRM's comments are about there being two writing styles. Your Architects are people who write plot-driven stories. They decided what the plot was, and if they need to bend and twist the characters out of shape to get to the predetermined ending, they will do so. Having a plot-driven style isn't all bad. There are other ways to keep a plot on track , and sometimes they'll pick one of those instead. The Gardiner style is character-driven. You came up with a plot and developed characters to suit the plot, but as time has progressed, the characters have taken on a life of their own , and the story is morphing in your hands as you let characters make choices that are true to that character. The downside to this style is that you can lose sight of the plot and the story can turn into mush if you don't find character reasons for it to continue to drive forward. I very much prefer reading character-driven stories and I write in a character-driven style. For me, it' really resonates better with my Fi component, as I empathize with characters trying to reach their goals, and enjoy seeing them solve their problems or fail to solve them due to character flaws in their own way. Me writing is an exercise in understanding what the character will do in certain situations, not what I think the best thing to do is or what I would do, but what they would do and why they would do it that way. What skill I have in writing comes from having worked hard to understand the people around me and how they work or fail to work, and trying to understand why they do what they do. This later helps me figure out how to get them to do what I want them to do when necessary.

The ENFPs I've known mostly just had a mutual disinterest with me. Any interest that was there was just me being a male and had little to do with type. The shared Ne was just so displaced as far as mutual interests that there was nothing to connect on, and unlike their INFP cousins, they don't generally have the same contemplative nature that drives them to prioritize understanding over action. They also tend to share the same sort of arrogance that their Ne-primary cousins, ENTPs, have, which is the result of being an intuitive and having a sort of charisma that makes people constantly tell them how great and smart they are. Lastly, while INFPs are naturally very sensitive, after they've gotten to know me they recognize quickly that I'm almost never being harsh in my criticism, I'm simply very cerebral and trying to figure out what is true or best - and I'm often trying to convince myself of something as much as trying to convince others. Even though they're a very sensitive type, they generally learn, and pretty quickly, that I never intend to hurt and so don't take things so personally after they get to know me. ENFPs never seem to have the same understanding of me even after getting to know me. While I think this video's explanation of where INFPs and INTPs clash is accurate, I think the same principle applies to ENFPs, and even more so, because INFPs in their calmer moments, which are common, are at least able to enter a contemplative frame of mind and see where, indeed, an INTP's generalizing principles are actually for the best because they solve the most conflicts among the widest community of people with conflicting interests...and then even competently challenge those principles with counterexamples. ENFPs are far more likely to have an arrogance that leads to them using dishonest means to dismiss an INTP (like ridicule) and are more likely to be biased toward a community that has fed them some sort of narcissistic supply. Now, I'm unintentionally painting ENFPs in a really negative light here, and generalizing very heavily. I recognize that. Clearly, ENFPs are not all narcissists or arrogant. It's only that such traits are a greater danger for ENFPs than INFPs given their natural charisma and the ease at which ENFPs find social approval compared to INFPs, and this leads to this specific form of clash with an INTP who wants to universalize a principle without bias toward some particular view or community and instead finds themselves running up against tribalism and accusations of being too academic and uncaring.

ESTPs... No clash (well, not since high school). Buy 'em a beer and let 'em tell their stories and jokes. If possible, smile and laugh at appropriate times. ISTPs... No clash. Work alternative solutions into your discussion of the problem, and give them a good-natured "I told you so" if it blows up their face, but also give credit where credit is due when they get the job done successfully... and don't miss an opportunity to learn their tricks and techniques. ESFJs and ISFJs... No clash. Just gotta bear their need to be sociable, tidy and responsible... which usually means limiting contact. ESTJs, ISTJs, ESFPs, ISFPs... No clash. We live in totally different worlds and rarely interact on any level worth clashing over. ENTJs and INTJs... No clash. I'll do whatever minion-y work you need done, so long as the price is right. ENFJs and INFJs... I've known so few, and it's been so long since I spoke with one... but I don't recall any clashes, other than in middle school, when Mrs DeRubertis would patiently try to persuade and motivate me to actually do my homework, and I only very rarely complied... but I tested better than anyone else in the class, so she couldn't be TOO upset with me. ENTPs... No clash. Disagreements, and long-suffering, sideways looks when they make absurd statements, but no clashes. ENFPs and INFPs... Rarely a clash, but when they decide their Fi trumps my Ti, one of us is probably going to have their feelings hurt... and it's not likely to be me. -- INTP

So I have learned to not attempt to debate them on those terms. I'm an INTP. As I've done a lot of meditation and taken logic, in the form of using logic to analyze language and logic itself, to its furthest conclusion, I've come to recognize that Ti is mostly just clever language manipulation. I mostly agree with the later Wittgenstein that philosophy, and I'm using the term broadly to mean all the intellectual enterprises, are built on an (often useful) mistake. While personal insults and Fe or Te-based arguments can be even worse because they're often deliberately biased, this core INTP belief I've held all my life that Ti-based arguments and rational debate is "superior" or "more fair" or whatever is just arrogance. It's all just language manipulation and none of it can get at the ultimate Truth of things, which is what INTPs are ultimately going for. The ultimate Truth of things is way more closely related to Se than Ti, as one cannot know anything outside of their immediate experience (ie, consciousness). Even memories and all forms of thinking are things appearing in immediate experience. If you want the Truth, just observe things as they are, right here.

@@exnihilonihilfit6316 I'm extremely familiar with Objectivism and most of the history of philosophy in the West as well as a great deal in the East. I reject it wholly for the same reasons I reject Thomas Reid and GE Moore: it's dogmatic. I also reject it on a more general note, in that it doesn't deal with the one absolute given, which is the fact that we know nothing outside of consciousness. Rand just accepts there's a real, external world and considers even questioning such a thing to be stupid (ie, the dogmatism mentioned above), but it's the absolute Truth that the current moment we experience in our senses is undeniable and everything else is a mental interpretation/language games, including the belief that the objects of our senses come from a real world. I don't have epistemological skepticism anymore anyways. The experience of the senses is undeniable. The rest is language games. This is really obvious. It's not mystical or special in any way. The only reason no one accepts it is that they have mental baggage floating around everywhere. I guess what I'm trying to say is I came to the end of philosophy and the end of language games in the context of Truth. I'm an NOT an ISFJ I was wrong. A lot of people incorrectly assume that I'm an INTP so I'm going to say whether I agree with these things are not. ESTP - Yes. I know I'm not an ExxP because I get exhausted by Exxps lmao. ISTP - I'm actually more so the ISTP in this situation. This one time I was confused on why someone would spend a ton of money on a basketball when they can get one that does the same thing for a lot cheaper, and my brother, who is an INFP, not an INTP but they both have second Ne, started listening all these reasons that I didn't think of, why someone might do something like that. When it comes to figuring stuff out, I know what works and what doesn't, and I don't need to waste time trying out other possibilities when I just want to get the job done. INFJ - I'm a little bit confused on this one, but I think from the gist of it, INTPs prefer when people give it to them straight rather than sugar coating it, and I agree. It's much more efficient and time saving. ENFJ - No. ENTP - Yes. ISFJ - Lmao. Refer to the second part of the ISTP section. ESFJ - No. I'm surprised INTPs are this focused on other people. I'm someone who is like, you do you, but if you come in and start affecting my life I'm going to knock you out before you have a chance to blink. ENTJ - I'm kind of a mixed bag with this one. With some things, such as typology and people trying to type me, I don't think they have enough understanding of the system or who I am as a person. However when it comes to getting stuff done, I'd rather not waste time going too in depth with learning about it. I'm also a very "learn things to use as a tool" sort of person. I started learning about typology in order to understand people better. Everything I learn, even if it seems useless, I have a reason for it. ISFP - I clash A LOT with ISFPs (INFPs too) ESFP - Not really. I've almost killed an ESFP's brain by bringing up a lot of Ne stuff that they couldn't grasp, but I have no issues with them. Most of the people I've dated have been ESFPs. ENFP - INTPs out here sounding like a Karen. But I kind of understand, but in a different way. I don't like when people waste their potential. I have a friend who has amazing art skills, yet he refuses to do anything about it because he doesn't think that anyone will buy it, when I've told him that they will. People care a lot about supporting small artists, you find the right group and you can find someone who will pay to have a line drawn on a piece of paper. He brings up all these other problems that he has, but instead of working on them, he spends time working on his art stuff, like if you're not going to help yourself by learning how to cook, cleaning up your house, working on losing weight, why not help yourself by monetizing what you like doing? You got a talent? MONETIZE THAT SH*T! ISTJ - I relate with the ISTJ in this scenario so much, I hate uncertainty and whenever someone pulls the rug out from under me it makes me want to wrap them up in that rug and throw them into the ocean. What would an example of details in the abstract be? ESTJ - I face this problem with my brother because I don't think he's making the best choices in choosing who is in charge of what. He expects his wife, who he knows has a bad memory, as well as being bad at math, to remind him of things, and to sort out the bills. He also expects her to do all that while cooking for him, washing his clothes, taking care of their kids, going to school, and working. I tell them all the time that they should get me to remember stuff for them because that's what I'm good at and they aren't. They don't utilize me though. INTJ - I'm a bit balanced between these two, some I could relate to on the INTJ side and some I could relate to on the INTP side. INFP - I don't clash with them on that, but I clash with them on their lack of attention to detail and getting upset because they fail to recognize that I'm joking. What's even worse are those people, who may be INFPs or may not, who really buy into the quote that "every joke has a grain of truth" so they think that every joke has a grain of truth even if it doesn't. Honestly intuigeeks it's not that deep.

I know you’re trying to be positive, but I don’t really see any good side to my interactions with Se doms aside from generic “Hard things make you grow” Some personality types don’t mesh and there’s no reason to put a generic positive spin on that.

It's pretty simple: it's a clash of attachment to particular ideas, theories, or schools where everyone is shouting past the other person. We INTPs often get attached to our favored ideas and advocating for them is often a part of our ego. That's how INTPs clash with other INTPs.

I don't know if he's said it in any video, but yes, I think Nathan is INTP. I know people like to say that he's INTJ, but he's talked about an INTJ friend of his as an example in stories before, and he said that he could bring some Fe that the INTJ didn't have, showing that he might have _some_ Fe even if it's lower. Plus almost all his series start with the INTP, maybe because it's the type he knows the best himself. :p It's just my hypothesis though

As an INTP woman, finding out that I got my grandparents' genes and am abnormally strong has been a game-changer. I went to some thrift store, and some low life bitch tried to cut the line. So, I basically told her what she did and said that it was not the hill to die on. She backed off. I then took an extremely long time in the dressing room. Okay, maybe I should have had "poise", but I actually really just don't give a fuck anymore. There's a lot that we filter for no reason. Like, if she wanted to play the victim, I would have just pointed out that she had the crazy eyes and needs a new pimp, but it can't be me.

The older I get I realise INTPs are particularly the most unique and special of all types. We will always be misunderstood and our job is to be the leaders of thought but we are too overwhelmed by the task of educating drones. It's best to be rich and ignore the mouth breathers.

It's only recently that I've come to see that what's best is to recognize Ti is just clever language manipulation and it can't actually lead me to the Truth, which is what I ultimately want. And no, this isn't a religious spiel. There's just an end that rationality reaches when examining itself and sees its own limits. Since I've recognized this, I have found myself far more chill. I recognize that the idea that rationality/Ti is somehow a superior way of manipulating language than the emotional way was always just my own ego just as much as people who use the emotional way's approach was their own ego. They're overly sensitive and personal, I'm arrogant and self-righteous.

Every intuitive feels misunderstood, but the latter part of your comment is just rampant arrogance lol. Being an INTP doesn't make someone enlightened - some of the most disastrous and awful philosophies have come from INTPs, e.g. Descartes.

As ENTP, i fully agree. It is a blast man. However, funnily enough, i see INTP's also with my diles turned to 11. Just the opposite way. WHERE DAFUC IS YOUR GAME? THERE IS NO GAME! Weirdly, i feel like i have no game when i have rizz. It doesn't feel like me being me. Then again who gives a shit! Also man Si is restrictive. Also necessary - working on that - but also not fun. COME ON, join the Ne Club. There is this weird aspiration of the Ti to be more INTP. Then i hear about depression and i'm like Nope, not for me. I suck at life, but i at least have fun while i'm at it. Oppenheimer had as comment that he couldn't fucking sit still enough as an INTP to do the calculations precisely. He was accurate and everything was true, but nothing was precise. Now dile that to 100, and you have got someone who sucks at school, but does no quite a lot about maps. And luckily, life is a map.

I believe I'm an intp. I always see entp as my autopilot. Like in the video about the car driving blind folded and going too fast. I don't hate the idea that entp has. I'll forget about driving my own car and jump into entp's car. It's easier that way, right?

All so very accurate. It’s definitely an Se thing, as the dog reference used for ESTPs can 100% be applied to my ESFP dad. Talk about being dragged around, he literally can’t stand to be alone. He has to be out in the social sphere, charming everyone he meets lol 😆. Meanwhile, INTP being dragged around: flatlined 🫠. Oh, and my ENFP friend calls me her “hermit friend”. Lol.
