I had an irl friend who I suggested genshin to and eventually ended up downloading and playing it. I was so hyped up and preparing for when she got to AR 16. We played for a bit in co op before she started a new game, which is fine not everyone likes genshin, but then continued to give me awkward responses every time I asked to hang out with her. I figured out why this was, she was spending time with my toxic “friend” who was manipulative and gaslighting me, which again is fine everyone has their own choice in friends, but when I was clearly upset about that other toxic “friend”, she said nothing and took sides with the toxic person. Sadly we don’t talk anymore and now I don’t have any irl friends to play genshin with :P (also this is really long sorry ;w;)

I play genshin with my friends irl and its funny how sometimes we decide to fight bosses with same characters or do domains with our chars with the least friendship and possibly least built. We also do pyro team, cryo, anemo and all time favorite to be a geo comp with an itto, albedo, Gorou, Ningguang/Zhongli and fight the Azhdaha for fun

this might be a long story but basically I was farming the nobles artifact until I've joined one domain literally one of the players immediately krissed me and 2 other players I laughed so hard although instead of continuing the domain we ended up hanging out and it was quite fun being with them (fun fact: before I leave the coop I told them if they want to take a picture before I had to leave for dinner and they say yes)

when we started playing, it's easier cause we can just hop in a call and play. Chats are tiring for us (more like for me) and its easier to farm to other worlds if you have irl friends that play (i.e. if you frequently cause temporary extinction of certain mobs then an irl friend that plays genshin is a very useful thing)

I used to play with my friend when I started, cuz they made me start lol. Then I reached ar 25 or so, and they just dissapeared. They got an acc in another server with high rank and good characters for free (it was their friend's who didn't want it anymore) Been alone since then. We don't really talk much now, but I remember funny times being in Liyue at ar16 with a level 20 Sara trying to not die while they did big numbers :,) now I'm ar56, and go around new players helping them do their quests cause I know how hard they can be when you are alone.
