@@Dyna07 Rambo is a hen, no comb and waddle development, fluffy fat feathers instead of pointed feathers around the saddle and the tail, also roosters crow soooo much.
Rambo is obviously 1000% female, I’m surprised the handler doesn’t know this… She looks like my Welsummer but with a floof on her head. I’m so happy she’s happy, thank you for the update!
@@oceanbeans8546 i'm no expert but as a child i often played with chickens and watched them grow at my grandma's. I think Rambo is slow ☹should be more energetic,curious, greedy
@@_dalina_5620 I can tell you’re not an expert. Her eyes are bright, her coat is full, she’s at a good weight, and she has a kick ass yard to play in. In the first scene she was grooming with her friends, that’s why she was laying there. She looks timid throughout the rest of it cause strangers with cameras were in her face. The fact she’s docile enough to sit on arms and backs shows she’s frequently handled and well loved. No need to worry, Rambo appears to be living the dream!

Awww I’m glad she takes in old hens, we also let our hens live out their lives, we don’t kill our chickens, we just have them for eggs, then we just enjoy them and watch them live their lives. We love our chickens! Bawk bawk!! You’re very correct, it’s important for them to have grass and variety in their diet.
I think Rambo is most likely a hen, a beautiful one at that! I liked all the cute interesting stories about the other birds too haha! Looks like a nice place for them to live

Rambo is absolutely a hen! Looks a lot like mine with a different color palette. All chickens have combs and wattles, but they aren’t always a good way to determine sex because their size and shape can depend on the breed and individual as well.
Eagerly waiting since many days to get the update of Rambo the chicken 🐔,,, thank u for the update,,, Actually she should get the opportunity to have her babies, to incubate her own eggs, so that she could pass her legacy to the coming generations.
This is a great set of videos, interesting on so many levels. I'm sad that we won't see Rambo ( or Rambinna maybe ? ) any more but have thouroughly enjoyed getting to know her. Thank you so much for making and sharing the videos!
Based on the size and coloration of Rambo, I would guess the breed is Ameraucana. (A-mare-a-con-a) Rambo is also 100% female, by this time she would have long and drooping tail feathers, large red wattles and comb, and be crowing if she were a rooster. The regular tail, small comb and wattles with pale coloration (compared to a rooster) tells me that she's a girl.
Or the breed is a welsummers. Actually, probably a welsummers she looks more similar to welsummers than an ameraucana but my friend has ameraucana chickens who look also very close to Rambo's coloration so who knows.
Just remember you don’t need a rooster for a chicken to lay eggs. Also, if the chick you hatch is a rooster itself, when he matures, the two roosters will fight to the death. I learned that the hard way.
I still remember when I was at my village where all my chickens used to jump on me whenever I feed them every morning and evening. It's so heartwarming to have a companionship from the chickens. I wish to go back to village life soon.
