Thanks for the mention bud ❤ I'm actually in the middle of doing a tips video for MX vs ATV. There's a number of techniques that aren't clear to people but I can see you'd lower your time by 5-10 secs a lap with a few quick ones.

I honestly think this game would get way less criticism if they focused all their efforts on redoing the turning and whip animations. It doesn't look too bad when you're hitting the lines on the straightaways but the minute you're throwing a whip or going around the corner, its like the rider has suddenly shit his pants. Still leagues away from the Reflex/Alive level of quality, but if we are talking realistic changes the development team could still make, whips and turns need the most help, desperately.

This game has grown on me alot. I bought this game with very little expectations, but I really like it especially after all the updates. Bike sounds are the biggest problem for me, but everything else I'm pretty happy with. Can't wait for the SX test track and GOAT farm in the next update.

I went back to the old Monster energy supercross games 1,2 and 3. I forgot how good they play and I haven't picked this back up in ages. I just can't with the physics.

Lol. MX Bikes and TrackDayR are the only games I play in first person. Legends looks good too, just prefer third.

for me personally one of the main things that helped me get faster was no hud, it helps me focus more on the race and not care so much about where i’m at position wise and lap time wise, since i turned it off i’m a consistent top 3-5 rider in most online lobbies

Flip the left stick forward after taking off rapidly 5 or 6 times, third gear has more of the effect than second but second definitely has it as well. Do everything with both sticks turning and just be smooth, some corners don't need all the right stick maybe half or just a tap. Abuse clutch boost before landing and every corner about 2/3 of the way out of it.

Clutch boost as much as possible on corners, and jumps everywhere you can to gain speed. Staying as low as possible after jumps is important, and lastly, flicking yours sticks down then up while clutch boosting is important for hitting big lines in sx.

I try to do the clutch boosting, but I always feel like I'm missing it in some way. Sometimes it feels like it's almost slowing me down. I need more practice, lol.

For a tune I'd recommend something like 3 engine acceleration 3 clutch boost 3 flexible chassis 3 stiff suspension 1 traction grip 2 hard brakes

@@foxmx125 because I wanna get the braking done quicker so I can get back on the power and clutch boost! I just make sure to lean back during braking 👌🏻 braking is more important in this game than any mx vs atv before!

Windham you should change your tune to clutch boost lvl , grip tires lvl 2 and hard brakes lvl 3

Hey Windham, love your videos! Quick question, I know you mentioned it on the video, but I can’t quite manage to do the quick scrub. Is there something in the settings I have to activate or deactivate? Also, how the heck do you lay the bike so flat on the jumps!? For the life of me I can’t manage to lay the bike as flat as you did on this video on the finish line jumps. I’d appreciate some tips. Thanks!

Are you using pro physics in the settings? Also, do you use the dual thumbstick controls? Quick scrubs are done pushing the thumbsticks together or apart, depending what direction you want to go.

I am using both pro physics and dual thumbstick controls. However, for some reason I feel that the bike is not as "snappy" as it should be. Both my scrub and quickscrub deadzones are at "smallest". I've tried changing settings all over the place and nothing. I don't know if it has to do something with the PC enginge over the console engine for the game, as it is in Reflex. Whips/scrubs in Reflex are so much better on console than on PC, eventhough it's the same game. I don't know if it is the same way in LEGENDS. Maybe it has to do with my tunning?? My tunning settings are the following: Engine: 3 acceleration Clutch: 3 clutch boost Chasis: 3 flexible Suspension: 3 soft Traction: 1 grip Brakes: 3 soft THANKS!!!@@windham151

I have a question with my gameplay. I’m terrible at the game but most of my jumping results in my rider/bike being like 30* slanted (more or less) to the left or right and I can’t correct it. So I land weird and lost momentum instead of just jumping staying upright if that makes sense. I’m trying the game but it’s annoying. How do I fix this? Playing on ps4.

I’ve spent hours and hours just riding tracks one at a time until I have them figured out and I can string together multiple clean and smooth laps. I suggest doing that, on a pro motocross track you really like or even some supercross tracks. But in the process of learning the track and getting really familiar with it you also become a lot more familiar with how the bike handles and different things to do to smooth out your riding. I would just mindlessly grind out tracks just because it was relaxing picking them apart and trying to be as smooth as possible. But in the process I really learned a lot about how to be fast. You are already pretty good so I don’t think it will take you very long if you go with that approach.

This is great advice! I would also like to try and do more multiplayer. When I played Encore a lot, a ton of that time was spent in multiplayer.

Left Trigger, in the leaderboards will change it to global times and then you can see all platforms times!

The platform button, shows LT at bottom of your leaderboard screen, should show you other platforms (Xbox/PS) if you cycle through using that

I'm on PlayStation a lot of the fast guys Lap Me sometimes really enjoy the game getting faster. I'm sort of at a disadvantage because I can't stand using dual joysticks so I do single stick and manual transmission using the buttons. I actually switched over to manual couple months ago. Definitely quicker. Big thing is getting bikes set up. Usually keep everything about the same mess with clutch and tires and suspension. Everything else is basically minus 3 or + 3

@@windham151as long as you don’t lock the rear wheel up and slide out, insides are the move. Rider weight distribution affects traction on the insides a little bit more as well, or at least it feels like it to me. Other than those 2 things actually slowing down and rolling through your corners are the biggest difference makers

The version of the game I'm on doesn't show public game version lap times. There were only like 5 or 6 times for xbox and 5 or 6 times for playstation. Hence I asked about other platform lap times...

They never fixed the AI they don't care,they leave the physics as a wonky mess there is no replay to get angles for screenshots,which there is a button for screenshots alone on controllers now a days...all they do is pump out graphics and gear.BUT NEVER fix what's important.don't fall for glitz and glam if the gameplay and physics suck the game sucks period. And shouldn't be praised as "at least we get to play with shit"

I really really really want to get a full lobby together and do the max terrain deformation on Sandwick with 30 laps, lol. It's just setting something like that up can be tricky. Making a time for everyone that works and making sure no one dcs or leaves.
