There was no road rage. This woman entered another lane of traffic to overtake someone without checking if the lane of traffic was clear. Shame on you. If my car was going to be sideswiped like this woman did. I would also get out of my car and a question her about her driving capability as well as her insurance number so I could pay for the defects my car would now have. Not a male for female issue. You trying to merge isn’t my lanes fault. That’s law. She should of waited for the right time to overtake
That's what I ask people when they don't stop at the crosswalks and then when I call their attention to that they get all pissy, they stop and talk like they are right and I tell them to keep going since they seem to be in a hurry to the douchebag party.

If you are on the phone to someone who is driving, and out of the blue they start shouting and honking their horn, the first thing anyone would do, is ask what was happening, quickly followed by by checking the person is OK. You see, on a phone, you can't see what is going on, all you have are vocal cues and if the voice suddenly changes like this then you will ask. Don't try to bring your own experience, which is entirely different to this into it. People do not want to get involved when something happens on the street and they witness it. It's well known, well documented, it's called the 'bystander effect'. It finds that people are far less likely to take action if there are other people in the vicinity, this can be for several reasons. They may feel that because there are others, that someone else will take the responsibility to intervene. People may also fear judgement from others if they do decide to intervene. They may also feel that if no one else is taking action, then it's not a serious matter. This is simply how people act and react. Over the phone is an entirely different scenario. It's you and the other person, so the 'bystander effect' doesn't come into it.
Locals treat the two lanes at the roundabout as going all back to the lights despite there only being room for a single lane. If you're from out of town and don't see it at rush hour you wouldn't know. That's if it's the Horsforth roundabout i think it is.

How is she is the right? She is the one who is changing lanes. Even if the person in that lane originally started in the same lane behind her, once that person moved over, they had the right of way.

It always works like that when cars are stopped. The guy at the back of the queue is always the first guy into the passing lane. Not that there's a rule or anything. It's just what always happens.

Actually shocked at how many people defending the guy in the Mercedes. I bet if the audio was muted and they didn't know it was a woman driving we'll get very different reactions. How is it not obvious to them that he cut the queue is beyond me. Ok, she was a little slow overtaking but she never stopped and it's not like she held traffic for more than 5 literal seconds.

Although he was not right for getting out of his car, she was the one in the wrong the whole time. First of all she shouldn't be on the fucking phone while she's driving. Secondly if she wasn't on the phone maybe she wouldn't have been distracted when she tried to pass the bus and almost hit the Mercedes that had already started to go around. Then to top it all off she leans on her horn like a crazy person, but of course doesn't think to hang up the fucking phone because her phone call is just so very important. She's so calm because I'm sure she's the type of person that floats through life thinking she does nothing wrong and that everyone else is in her way.

She was in the right here. After watching the video it took me by surprise that some people defended this reckless queue jumper. He was driving on the wrong side of the road (oncoming traffic). So he had no right of way as in a double lane road. And she had the blinker set, indicating her intention to change the lane. Had this been a driving school situation, she would have been reminded to always check the mirror twice before changing lane and he would have failed the test completely. That wasn’t only reckless but also dangerous behaviour.

I checked it too! And the other car in front of her is no longer on the road. Must be a pretty old clip. I wondered if it was all a set up actually. She sounds far too calm and blasé and is talking about nothing in particular to the person she made a point of ringing whilst driving! But you could be right too! In which case she was lucky!
How do you know that he didn't indicate? It's mirror signal then manoeuvre.. also she indicates at the same time as she pulls out which is bad road etiquette along with the fact she's on her phone Bluetooth or not she wouldn't stand a chance if a claim had occurred.
The actual irony is that people are taught not to use indicators when going around obstacles because your positioning in the road should be clear enough, plus indicators are always misleading when doing this. Are you turning right? Are you going around? Are you parking up on the right?

You can hear her put the indicator on, pretty much at the same time she manoeuvred. By which time the other car was committed to over take, almost passing her door. The key is in the name, indicate. It infuriates me, especially on the bike, that drivers think its ok to fire the indicator on and commence the manoeuvre at the same time. In this case, she pulled out into overtaking traffic…. Whilst on her phone.

She handled it well although she may be at fault to begin with. There's usually a 1:1 ratio when allowing ppl to merge. So if the Benz had already stopped to let the first car merge, the Benz is now clear to go, and the car behind the Benz is now next to allow this lady to merge. Here it appears she cut off the Benz instead of waiting for him to pass and merge in behind him.
