Doesn’t feel real we are left with no Campaign dlc, campaign is the only thing I play in halo and gaming in general I’m just not a competitive grindy guy. So the fact after 7 years we only got what we got with infinite was really unfortunate, but at least I will always cherish the halo games up till halo 5 (5 and infinite had its merits as a whole not as good). I’m just glad that I get to get back into playing the dead space franchise with the remake and finally dipping my toes into the resident evil series with the re4 remake
half of the infinite’s time was working on the engine and training contractors on it. Halo 7 is likely to use Unreal, meaning most of the time can be spent on the game itself, Insha’Allah! May Allah (S.W.T.) guide you to Islam and bestow upon you His Blessings; Ameen.
The pit map made me happy because alot of the forge maps they have added look way to clean the walls look kinda blocky and forge like half the time ....but that version of the pit. Just looked so good so detailed and grimey

The Halo 3 maps where so amazing and well made. The rest where awesome, but Halo 3 had that nostalgia. Im glad you took the time to go through those. Thank you.
343i should add "AI Enemies" for single player challenges and making "custom canon maps" playable as teams. Imagine The Maw with all the sentinel variants and Banished bearing down on your 4-person team as you barrel towards the finish line!
Yeah. It’s mindboggling. I can’t believe the degree by which 343i missed the mark with this release. The game barely works. Still. And apparently because of technical issues, they can’t add very much to the game without messing things up.
In what way did they fuck it up? I don’t disagree at all I’m just curious bc I’ve gotten pretty used to it although ik it definitely departs from the older games.
Once again, the passion, creativity and respect for the franchise the community has is singularly keeping this tragedy of a game alive, and really showing corporate how it SHOULD be done.
The game just started having way less maps on custom browser recently for some reason for me, dont know if its a setting or it is like that for everyone
Imagine a halo trilogy remake. One with 4 player coop in all games, updated visuals, updated level design, new weapons and new vehicles. I know this is what halo reborn aims to be but I think microsoft will have to get a big studio if this is going to happen and be finished.
The Halo community are blatantly out-doing the actual developers of the game with the Quality and Quantity of the maps they're putting out and 343i devs are an actual Team of people getting paid to make them, where-as the community is generally just one person making each map !! Amazing work by the Community, Nice One, without all of you I think Halo Infinite would be struggling a hell of a lot more by now.....Crazy good talented people.....Keep Up the Great Work & Thanks to ALL of you, your passion and skills are Very Much Appreciated !! 😎👍
Honestly this all actually makes me pretty sad. Had 343 not absolutely botched this game at launch, this game would have had some real staying power. They desperately needed to delay releasing the entire game by a year or two. If the game launched in the state its in now it would be considered great. Shame. Most people I know say its too late for them to come back.
"Last Broadcast" is a headache to roam, I don't know how it won anything compared to the other mind blowing maps out there. 343 has an awful taste for only competitive maps and that is probably why. Too many levels up and down up and down that just give aim anxiety unless you're again in "competitive". Reminds me of how annoying Solitary was in Halo Reach.
Unrelated but I think 343 should host a map making competition where the winner gets their map design in the 343 playlist (with small gameplay edits made by 343 and they get a cash prize
Reach Hemmorage looks great, but the scale of the map vs the size of the player seems really off. Looks like a little green toy soldier vs a normal sized spartan. Anyone else get that feeling?
343 have never wanted to make Halo you can see that with all of their games. It's no surprise that the fans do a better job of understanding what makes Halo than 343.
Forge is good and all.. but it means nothing to me if none of these maps never make it into a legit matchmaking playlist.. I come to Halo for the Casual Competition and the endless ways I have to get a kill.. thats it. My only Rankd option to do so, is an MLG playlist that includes gametypes I'll never have any desire in playing unless Im actually tryna go Pro. I swear if they added Rankd Team Slayer and Rankd Big Team, all w better map rotation and a map vote system, the game would turn around over night!!!!!
They took away the Legit but fun Vibe that was the Halo Slayer scene. We can either go all in on the "Rankd Arena" playlist and be forced to endure non Slayer gametypes often, and with people we dont know or cant even communicate with... OR, play any other playlist without a Rank, and ultimately without a real purpose to some us.. most time with people quitting, not playing, etc... RANKD TEAM SLAYER HAS TO BE IN ANY HALO GAME AT THE VERY LEAST!!!!! THE WAYS/OPTIONS/TIME YOU HAVE TO GET A KILL, AND THE VEHICLES lol, IS ALL THE HALO YOU EVER NEED. Stop destroying this simple formula 343!! Sorry, got passionately carried away again lol.
Overall I'd just like to see more of an attempt at making more classic style maps, meaning no weapon pads, proper scaling for default running, and textures not looking too forge-y
I love UneeQ but the texturing on the pit doesnt look good. The aging of the concrete is too contrasting sometimes. Also the yellow was closer to volt yellow than canary yellow. Still my top 3 fav forgers!
