Thank you for this beautiful love-filled adventure! I cried through a lot of it. You see I lost my beautiful husband 2 years ago. Your story triggered so many wonderful memories of our love story that lasted 51 years until he passed away. I cried from happiness not sadness that I was lucky to have the great memories. 🧡

As the actual Jason that introduced Brit and Drew, I couldn’t be any happier! Who knew that 12 years ago, two completely different college students from different walks of life would come in to interview with me and be selected to be matched up together to rep JanSport at University of Florida then fall in love. I’m only part of their story (the prelogue if you want to call it that) and love to see them continue to write chapters into their book.
What absolutely beautiful story guys, totally loved it!! There really is no other place like San Francisco, I loved the times I lived there, despite my son's battle at UCSF. The city was kind to me, the food amazing, the flowers were beautiful and the sourdough well...I loved mine filled with clam chowder...yumm!! Thank You Sweet Peeps xoxo
Watched some of your guys vids off n on over the last couple of years and loved the burning man thing you did. I've only ever followed Max N Occy and Sailing La Vagabonde, though after what's happened and your beautiful tribute I feel compelled to follow you guys now as well... Thank you so much for what you do, I don't think people realize how much it takes to do what you guys do, mentally and just time wise.

I lived there a long time. 10 years in CA. Lots of memories for me, too. No special guy memories for me though. We broke up. I loved San Fran. Wish i could have stayed. Can't retire there, though, way too expensive. FL is waaay cheaper. GREAT Episode. Thanks.

When you were sitting on the grass remembering a TV show, I had memories of sitting on the same lawn watching the SF Mime Troup...so many memories for people on that lawn and in that city. I love all your videos, and this may be my favorite, because it sparks memories of the love stories of my self, my brother, my parents, and grandparents, memories that I now realize still live in that city. San Francisco is such a cool place. I remember 1973 and coming down Lombard St. in a brand new 22' Winnebago Brave!!!! Crazy, not sure, even then if that was "allowed" and it was totally accidentally but very fun actually!

“If you’re going to San Francisco........” my all time favorite song!!!!!!! Every time I’m lucky enough to be there, I make sure I wear a flower in my hair 🥰🌺🌸🌼. Aaawwwww, Brittany, that was the perfect imitation of those sea lions! 🤗. Oh my gosh, I’m soooooooo having those animal fries, soon!!! I’ve been thinking of going back to San Francisco (I sooooo wish I could just live there, or in the Oakland hills) soon, and this video is only encouraging me to go sooner than soon 🥰. This is such a cool video. Its always a good feeling reminiscing about all the times in our lives that made us feel so good inside and that changed our lives for the better. And even looking bad on the challenging times and seeing how we as humans can overcome those challenges is a good feeling too.
Thanks guys for this wonderful time in SF. I spent 4 years there getting my Master's in East West Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies so it was nostalgic for me also to revisit this amazing place through you. I especially loved Brittany's statement of "knowing" that you, Drew, were in effect, her future. Sorry, don't remember how she put it exactly. When I left the university my "Life" began in the City in 1968. For past 9 years I live just 2 hours north, but haven't been back to magical SF in 20 years. Thank you both for memories...and Cafe Trieste. 😘

This was so great. I was born in S.F. and lived there until age 9. I grew up nearby and often visited there. It was fun to see all the old hang outs. I now live 900 miles away and haven’t been back for twenty years. You made me homesick!

Very cool adventure and what a great “how we met” story! San Francisco is one of my favorite cities to visit. Although I’m only 4 hours away I don’t make it there nearly enough! San Francisco is my favorite city to visit. My favorite meal there is a fresh hot loaf of sourdough bread from the Fishermen's Warf Boudini bakery on the Embarcadaro, then go across the street to get freshly steamed dungeness crabs with cocktail sauce. Sit on the bench and enjoy.
Nice video of SF. Last time I actually in the city was about 40 years ago. We walked all over and took a cruise in the SF Bay. It was quiet then too because the Aides epidemic was in full swing and it was a scary time. My brother was even afraid to use a BR as he was afraid he could pick up Aides from a toilet seat. And now SF is relatively quiet due to Covid. Live tends to repeat itself in a myriad of ways. Thanks for sharing your video. Brough back memories for me also.
