she said it like they eat healthier than we do, then I see nothing but corn barley and wheat, like wtf, dogs evolved eating meat not fucking wheat corn a barley omg!!!
Yeah, you gotta look around for the stuff that's good for them. I think our family uses Fancy feast kibble for the higher meat content. It would actually be better if they put a little hay or grass into it for digestive aid.
@@oron61 cats can't digest any plant materials. They eat grass sometimes to aid them throwing up a furball.. Cats in particular are obligate carnivorous. Wheat and barely will kill them. Unfortunately the food that's actually good for them (meatbased with no grain) costs a fortune
@@LC-yv9ey Nothing evolved. Evolution is a myth. All CREATURES can adapt but if you think dogs or humans came from dead soup, you are in for a surprise on judgement day.
For any kitty owners I would recommend Tiki Cat! It uses human-grade ingredients and my kitty, Grimm, likes it more than he has other foods. He's 1 year old and it really helps him to stay on the lean side yet still be full.
Kibble no matter what kind if the can is sold for less than 10$ it’s probably made of grains mainly. Barely any meat which causes loss of weight and malnutrition.
@@enaszaq3051 milk bones say "taste meaty" on the box but they dont taste meaty at all its false advertising. they taste wheaty. ive never tried kibble tho
@@enaszaq3051 um there’s no way to clean meat. Raw meat is bad for domestic animals, because they’re domesticated. Wild animals can eat as much raw food as they want
Cry because people make food for animals? Guess you haven’t lived outside of the United States. Most animals worldwide just eat scraps of rotting food found on the street. If they’re lucky. Others eat disease infected rodents or the poo of other animals. Cat and dog food is not something to cry over. 🙄
Cats in particular are obligate carnivorous, barely and wheat will cause skin issues, health issues, kidney disease and eventually kill them. Meat based no grain and certainly no vegetable matter is best.. But it does cost a fortune
Interestingly, a little bit of grains is essential to a cat’s health, as cats do need fibre and acquire it from eating grass and from the guts of their preys… However, I also agree with you that cat food nowadays has too much plant matters and carbohydrates…
They only require some amino acids in meat that cats can’t produce but other animals can. You can synthetically make these chemicals and fed them vegan. No animal has to or should die to feed another.
@@FURYBrenton "No animal has or should die to feed another" you have got to be kidding me.I can't even digest this sentence came from someone who is educated enough to have access to the internet.
@@hamzayounis971What’s wrong with what I’ve said huh? You don’t kill an animal to feed another. Makes no sense. It’s unnecessary. You stupid or something?
@@FURYBrenton my outside cats kill and eat birds etc despite having wet and dry food. I'm sure they don't want to be vegan. They're not woke like people
I never give dry food for my dogs and cats. I cook for them daily. I now adopted a new cat he is used to eating dry cat food. I am here to learn what in that cat food he prefers eating. My dogs and cats bodies are strong and lean but his body is big and soft. His stomach is hanging he cant jump like my other cats. He is overweight.
So ummm like corn wheat barley and rice is actually not good for your pets and is usually the #1 reason for skin issues and depending on the pet and the food seizures
I love how she talks about how healthy and high end the food is meanwhile i pick out a sack with a cat on it thats from the same brand. My cat just happily eats it and im not even sure what im eating him besides picture of farm food lol.
That's why my cat hated it so much. They don't even put fish and meat in it. Also the food is hard like a rock that make my caf suffer while eating. Why can't somebody make cat and dog food based on fish and meat? We live in modern day, there must be way to do it. Im gonna be the one who create it
Cereals, grains, I'm a little shocked. According to the literature I've come across apparently these aren't good things for cats, as they aren't foods they'd naturally eat
Any recommendations on food I can give my cats I am looking for good quality brand that offers the right ingredients they need and isn't full of wrong ingredients that aren't good for cats. But that won't make them feel bad are they any brands that may fit this. Thankyou
@@katelynrichards7012 that is true, but it doesn’t really make much of a difference. I personally haven’t picked a side between raw and cooked, so I go with lightly cooked. Cooked enough to kill bacteria, but raw enough to keep the nutrients in there. Anything is better than wtv tf kibble is
@@horacthy8577 something you need to understand is that cats are able to withstand bacteria like salmonella MUCH better than humans can, meaning eating raw meat is perfectly acceptable and very healthy fo them as long as the pet or owner is not immunocompromised
Domestication of wild life for people to own pets and use for their factory farming to eat and make pet food etc has caused more harm to them and the environment than if they would of just left them alone
And that’s why I buy wet food for my cat that actually has meat in it I don’t trust these dry ass looking dropplings Edit: lol why am I cringing reading this now-
cats and dogs need balance intake, you can't feed them with wet food alone. in my case, my four furbabies easily get tired by all these dry food sometimes I gave them fresh meat
Most dry cat food has too much carbohydrates but I don’t go for grain free one, as in the wild cats do need fibre and acquire it from the gut of their preys… I feed my cat with half wet food and half dry one, which is a pretty ok compromise between my convenience and my cat’s well-being…
I give my cats dry cat food only a little I am very picky with which I buy and half their bowel I will make them chicken beef or meats to give them protein like the diet cats should mostly have. I see a huge difference balancing their diet like this than just straight cat food.
My cat eats iams.hairball atnd weight care. She won't eat soft food. I give her dry food. She is picky she won't eat cheaper cat food. She really likes isms blue buffalo and taste of the wild. brands.
There's this new condition with cats these days where they act like they have fleas and chew themselves and do summer salts and backflips and literally will rip their stomach open chewing on it and then they'll like totally normal and then they freak out again. Have any of you had a cat that has started doing this recently. They make a big things of what it could be they're not sure it's what they're feeding it that's making cats nuts these days. if you like Cheetos all's you're eating is livestock grain. Also any ancient body ever found more than 500 years old I believe does not show any signs of cancer no body ever found you believe that shit they make it sound like oh it's just something that runs in a bloodline and and you know it's people get it too much smoking or drinking no it's our processed food. We're getting cancer from the 20 lb of fire rates hardened put in the fabric of your couch it's the plastic molecules that seep into your food when you microwave it it's the pills and pharmaceuticals that the world takes.
Corn is a cheap filler. It has no nutritional value to it. If you eat corn, and later use the bathroom to have a bowel movement, you will see whole corn not even digested. I've used several brands of dog food, especially when I was showing a double coated breed, plus living in the state of Florida, and the only brand I could use to keep their skin and coat healthy, and their stools nice and firm, and pooped once, maybe twice a day, was Nutro Dog foods. If a dog poops more than four times a day, he is not getting the nutrition that he/she needs. I worked for veterinary clinics for thirty years, and I've done lots of research on dry dog food. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination. But I have seen some awful crap come out of these bags of cat and dog foods. Why the dyes? To make it look good to you. If it looks good to you, then you think your dog will like it as well. It is a psychological game that they play so you'll buy their products. I refuse to buy any cat or dog food that has dyes in it. When I did, most of them would vomit the food back up. When I switch to a dry cat and dog food with no dyes????? No vomit. I rest my case.
