Korean does not normally use carrot in Kimchi, we use white radish. This might be recipe used in US or other western counties where white radish is not available.
This was more confusing than anything. While I can appreciate having multiple sources of raw material demonstrating the process, jumping around the various stages of production is confusing. As an fictitious example… In the time the narrator explains each of 6 sequential steps, we should see video corresponding to each step. With video sources A and B for each step, that would mean narrations and video go 1: A1/B1, 2: A2/B2, 3: A3/B3, 4: A4/B4, 5: A5/B5, 6: A6/B6. What we actually see is… 1: A1/A2, 2: A3/A4, 3: A5/A6, 4: B1/B2, 5: B3/B4, 6: B5/B6 Visually the production process jumps forwards and backwards as it relates to the narration.
