The guy that asks “why not?” needs to know that the reason they wouldn’t do it is because having different shapes is less efficient. They could save literally millions of dollars if they made nuggets perfectly square and therefore easier to store, move and serve. But they don’t because 6 fried chicken squares are less appealing.

The "pink slime" is actually beef trims (like the last scraps off the bone) that are ground very fine to a paste. To make sure it does not have any harmful bacteria, the finely ground meat is treated with chlorine gas. Then, the paste is fed back into the main batch of ground beef to extend it while keeping it 100% beef. An uproar occurred when the news made it seem like the paste was treated with liquid chlorine rather than the gas. Making it seem that they were making ground beef with chlorine mixed in.

The pink slime is from the hotdogs making process. The only different between that pink slime and this is it's beef and it's ground a lot finer. Still just quality meat ground up, nothing to be afraid of

There is decent vitamins in the skin but not good with the fat still on it. When I air fry the fat melts off to the bottom of the bowl. I still don't eat much of it.

I eat McDonald's nuggets occasionally but I'm not a big fan of them. The flavor is okay but the texture has always seemed too dense to me. Wendy's, for example, makes nuggets that are fluffier and seem more like real chicken meat instead of injection-molded chicken paste. It's good to learn more about the actual McDonald's ingredients from this video though. Side note: I can't believe Adam traded in Grant for Norm! 😕

The rumor is that it was changed based on a now debunked study saying white meat was healthier than dark meat. The dark meat blend had a better flavor and moister consistency than the white meat blend.

I love their chicken nuggets. I could eat them until I puke. When they have been sitting for more than a few minutes then they aren’t good. They are the best when they are fresh. I can’t believe he hadn’t eat one in awhile. I’d be taking his place for sure lol.
@@electrictroy2010 it honestly all depends on where you live. I've went to one fast food place before and it tasted old and like literal garbage, but when I went to the same exact place in another city it tasted delicious.
A few years ago, I used this as a recipe and it legit tasted like McDonald’s. You just need to get a meat grind with both a fine and coarse setting, I used a kitchen aid attachment.

Honestly, even if you take beaks and feet and feathers and make it into something nutritious and appetizing, good on you. We're far too wasteful these days. Consumption habits change. For example, my great-grandmother would've sneered at fried chicken wings. For her, wings were meant for stock or gravy. Nowadays, people spend crazy money for wings.

Can confirm it’s true, I work at a chicken plant just like this. The employees do care about the product going out the door. We can compensated good to do so.

Because people freaked out over something that only appeared gross there will now be a slightly higher demand for meat because of the wastage of the carcass mean that is difficult to remove as recognizable meat. The truth should not have been revealed because people will freak out over something they consider weird. McDonald's is shit anyway and why the fuck should trash people care if they're eating finely ground carcass meat, they don't care that inhumane farming practices were used to produce the meat.

Zoe i don't know if the production Is the same in your country, but here in czech republic, the chickens are from farms where they treat them with maximum available comfort.
Except for the part where that kind of stuff isn't meant for human consumption. Besides, most factories don't have much waste when it comes to animal products. Most of it winds up in animal feed or makeup products (if you wanna stop wearing makeup, look up what all goes in it.)

I stopped eating chicken nuggets from Mickey D’s after I kept biting into chewy bits in the nuggets. It was gross. Idk what it was, if it was part of muscle or cartilage, but it completely ruined my appetite for their nuggets. Gross.
