Nice video but it didn’t get much into the painting process or how they manage to do the color details in the face quickly and efficiently with the mass supply, which is why I’m here

Me three. I figure the mass production gets them a bunch of units in a base color but they can't possibly be hand painting them all. Right?

This is really confusing as we are shown 3 types of molds in the video: lead ( aluminum? ), silicone, and machined steel injection molds. It's not clear which is used and when.

This seems very antiquated given 3D CAD renderings and 3D printing for the prototype outputs. I can literally complete the whole process seen here within 24 to 36 hours from my laptop.

Can we create same/similar figurines using 3d printer?
@add3to6
@add3to6 9 месяцев назад
3D printing is a very slow process and the resin that is used can be carcinogenic when inhaled. It not suitable for mass producing toys, especially that could end up in a kids mouth. You can get fantastic detail with resin however, so it tends to be used for gaming miniatures, busts and other collectibles aimed at adults.

Why are there so many thumbs down on this video??
@YangZhaoDragon
@YangZhaoDragon 2 месяца назад
Probably because the narrator is talking about prototypes used in action figures factories but keeps showing footage of homemade clay figures which are not intended to be replicated or mass produced
@BadmanPictures
@BadmanPictures 4 дня назад
also the narrator is talking about toys needing approval so they are kid safe... hello... I thought the video was about designer toys, but now it's also about kids toys and action fiures and also art toys not helpful
