Good lord, the amount of work, and patience and perseverance, to see this project through, is pretty astonishing, given how complex that decal job was. Bravo man 👏
Putting decals on such complicated bodywork is no easy task, but re-doing it twice takes serious dedication. I'm glad the finished product turned out stunning. Hopefully your future projects will go more smoothly.
I feel the frustration on the smaller scale. I do custom 1/64 diecast and recently started airbrushing. Paint reactions with clear coat are a plague. I do my best to keep brand with brand and paint type to paint type, but it isn't always the case. I think I expect perfection when I shouldn't. Really does make you set a project aside and almost never go back to finishing it. I also hate the idea of the money I've wasted in repainting, broken wheels, cracked body sculpts, and other areas. But no one is doing, or will accept commissions, for the type of customs I want so I just keep trying. Eventually I'll improve. Glad to see a video again. I don't have the other social media platforms so I never see those Instagram updates of yours. Hope all is well, and hope your dream of a real Ferrari came true.
Gday Andrew, all the collection has been sold except for around 45 models. And I have been working 7 days a week since then, no time at all for video's. The supercar hunt is on hold as the prices all around the world are stupid crazy, waiting for the crash. In the meantime, I paid off my mortgage!
@@ROBSMODELCARS oh congrats pal and yes cars like house prices are bonkers at the moment..... I'm sure that if they don't drop soon you will slowly be drawn back in to the model hobby's. Has happened to me a number of times after selling up 😉
OMG!!. I know how much effort you put in it !! Such a great work!! Respect your painstaking !! Im really surprised on how u can makes this cars look like real like that!!
What a nightmare with the 2k far out, its a terrible feeling. I left a CA glue finger print on my Yamaha R1 putting it together during my last build that was fun polishing out. You did not give up though and that is the secret. In the end that is some of the best carbon work i have ever seen on a model, and know full well how hard it is to get perfect like you have.
With the same wheels you used for the BBR model, I'm planning on getting those wheels for my GT Auto's model too. How do they fit? do they need any modifications? If I'm correct the GT Auto's model has screw on wheels, so how did you go about it? Thanks 👍🏼
