Lovely Video clip! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you considered - Rozardner Flying Bird Reality (do a google search)? It is a great one off product for how to get pilot license without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my GF finally got great results with it.

These cables are all that saves you from disaster .Next time you are in a old plane ask if the control cables have been maintained. I had a experience where the rear cable broke to the tail .we landed in a field immediately after take off with minor damage to the plane,but it could have been alot worse.

the ground crew asked us not to push the rudder (just the rudder only) over on out preflight inspection. I can't imagine the cable sliding off the pulley or whatever, still can't imagine why. i always grab the control surfaces and waggle them while looking at the linkage points, especially on rental planes

Wow--surprisingly accurate--nicely done. (But note that the break point of the first small pulleys in the aileron loop should really be collinear with the pivot of the column; that's like the whole point of the joggle in the column, which you've illustrated as a joggle to the right when it should be a joggle to the rear to help that pivot line up with the break point of those pulleys.)

Always a little scary knowing you're relying on some thin cables to keep everything in place.
@ivanljujic4128
@ivanljujic4128 7 лет назад
Actually, bigger planes use semi-automated flight control system, which uses hydraulic pistons and stuff like that to move ailerons, elevators and rudder. You shouldn't be afraid if you are flying in larger planes... But I still can't guarantee that there is no way of something being broken.

@@pilot1012 well technically, FBW is more reliant for bigger aircraft. Reducing the tensions caused by mechanical wires, or else, those big passenger aircraft will have a chance to get fail in mid-flight.
