The pool at my parent's house has an option to turn the filter off, they use this to save power during winter then when late spring rolls around they pay people to clean the pool then they keep the filter on for 6 hours a day till winter rolls around then repeat, it doesn't matter that the water isn't clean during winter cuz it's too cold to swim anyway
VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER VIDEO, THANKS SO MUCH!! We really are at a new day and age where you can look anything up!! In the past you'd have to go to a pool store or a professional in the area..
If it's a public pool it has to, by law because it has to meet a certain number of turnovers per hour. Meaning the amount of time the entire volume of water passes through the system. In a private pool, you're not regulated so you don't even have to have a filtration system. You can just fill it and dump it. I did that with my pool but my water was from a spring so I had an unlimited source.
You guys get your USA, uk and Canada credit cards from Alexascard on telegram I bought one from him and it worked 😊 I’m so happy I finally got a real cc plug Thanks to him for being real
Good and increasing knowledge about how to prepare installation of swimming pool water treatment. Thank a lot for your sharing. Glad to subscribe to your account
Very nice explannation - Now that was simple too - jets, drain, skimmers, pump, filter, filter media, selectors, and cock blockers (I mean stop cocks / shutoff valves). very well explained - thanks
Great informative video.. I was planning to construct a pool .. But couldn't understand its construction video .. Then i searched this video .. Thanks , this video helped alot to understand the process
Dear Edgar Kaufmann ... have in mind that the first basket in the skimmer retains the leaves and big things ... the second basket in the pump the little things as hairs or insects ... and then, the glass media or silica sand ... particles up to 100 or 50 microns... dust and particles that you can’t even see ... A swimming pool with out a filter system, can’t maintain the water Cristal clear .. ;-)
@@NatureWorksGlassFilterMedia Some filters can get down to 2 microns, meaning they can filter out viruses. And the dirtier a sand filter the lower in microns it filters but at a higher energy bill cost.
Small objects going through the 1st basket: what ever game your playing, you can’t defeat me. 1st basket layer: oh I know , but he can. Second basket layer:
Thanks for the information given thru this video, may we ask for the full style details of the company where we can purchase those materials needed such as pumps etc, here in manila, philippines. Many thanks
Thank you Bob for your comment. This video is based on swimming pools in general... May be in your country a second drain is need it... In Europe it is not mandatory as a safety measure. We would like to know more about this second safety drain! Thank you Bob !
Sometimes in public swimming pools, two drains connected between them are used, to prevent accidents due to suction in a single drain. People get sucked by powerful pumps ... that’s true!
How is the filter cleaned? And does extra things on pools like water slides and water falls and jet streams work on the same system? Or is that separated from the main filter system.
The sand filter gets cleaned by reversing the flow in the lines. The will dislodge all the particles that got trapped within the sand and then that water is dumped, otherwise, all those captured particles will go into the pool. The more features you add to a pool the better it is to separate those systems. This helps during maintenance or repairs. This way you don't have a pool with stagnant water just sitting there waiting for parts/maintenance. Plus some features require a higher rate of water flow than others and/or the main pump.
Hello James, You must have one valve in each inlet and outlet of the technical room. Even more if you are under the water level, like in this case... Thank you for your comment !
From the maintenance point of view and ease of operation, the arrangement is perfectly fine. Some design may also install a chemical dosing system after the filter before going to the nozzles.
