I remember watching this video two years ago before my wife and I took the plunge and had our pool built. This was was a very impressive DIY project. Nicole is definitely a trooper to be able to do all that work. Very well done. Excellent video.
Hi Nicole, Great stuff 👍. I'm highly impressed with your great work. Could you be kind enough to share the link or give more details of the Vacuum, Lighting and Inlet fittings used in this project, I'm quite interested. Thank you.
good job for a women ,,,,can i ask you about the skimmer it has two connection pipe one inlet is below ( this is understanadable ) but the other pipe connection is infrom of the skimmer ? i didnot understand the job of this pipe because it is not clear in the video....respects and thanks for your efforts
I hope there is rebar because the water expands the body of a pool and can easily crack those walls. Let alone the weight of of the water can break the shell. Nice plumbing though🤙🏽
Can you please show detailed installation of the pipes? I admire u for doing your own pool. And i want to do it also in our small lot for my grandchildren.
Hi there, Beautiful pool, great project! I would like to imitate your project, but I have some doubts. Could you tell me how your pool is doing after 5 years? Is it still in good condition or have you had any problems? Thank you.
Does the pool skimmer have to be flush with the brick/concrete face. Or do you allow it to protrude into the pool by 1/3 inch to allow for pool plaster
Hi Nicole.I am changing 2 pipes going from filter to the pool circulating system at both oppsit sides. Do they need to have same pressure and if how do I correct it
You mean the pipes that take the water back into the pool? Yes, best is to have the same pressure. The one pipe going from the filter should be connected to a T piece connected to the two pipes going to the swimmingpool. The T piece should make an even split; not that one pipe is going straight and one pipe is a split, if you know whtat I mean. Best is to send me a drawing or more explanation to: contact@nicolemichaeldiy.com
Maybe in a city. In 90% of Texas, you don't need a permit to do anything on your own land. If you don't use a contractor, you can build a 6 bedroom 5 bath house without a single permit, let alone an oversized outdoor bathtub.
I'm in the early stages of a similar project. I was looking at Pentair - Admiral S15 Weir Skimmers. What make/model did you use? I didn't see any for sale with the longer corridor like you got.
@@MichaelBoeropHey Nicole, at 1:47 I just noticed those moles on your arm. I took a screenshot and zoomed in and the bigger, darker one at the bottom and a smaller one have an irregular shape. Do you ever get them checked out by a doctor who checks for skin cancers? My Dad had stage 4 Melanoma and his looked similar to that. Luckily they caught it in time, so he has been ok since.
