What I want to know is how the EAS knows if the ground is uneven or if the bags just haven't been balanced yet. Example, If two bags are low on one side I expect it to even things out. If however I have one wheel on a big lump, I expect the car to allow the axle to articulate and not try and keep each bag filled to the same length using those little level sensors. How does it know this? Has it got body spirit levels or something?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. You made me think for something that I have never thought before I just took this ability of the Range Rover for granted and never gave it a second thought. I do not know if the RR can recognize if the ground is uneven but it can tell if the air springs are balanced through the height sensors that you mentioned. I doubt that the RR have a gyroscope sensor but I can't find any information about this to confirm my guess and still this does not change the fact that this vehicle can self level. Some how it knows which side of the suv is lowest and it will adjusts the rest to level it. Probably you are right it may have body spirit levels or something like it.
