I was a bit shakey when he started playing for the first team because usually when an academy guy becomes a star for a champions league team you know about him when he's 17/18 or even younger. I never even knew he existed until he was 20, and he spent the previous season in league one at Bristol Rovers so you'd think to be good enough for Liverpool he'd basically have to win player of the year in league one at 20 years old 😂 But man he's good 🤣 He's like a defender you make in a laboratory. 6'6, calm on the ball. He's strong, he's quick. For me it's like "why wasn't he playing years prior.
