Warehouse was such a great sounding studio - my dad's band used to showcase in there in the mid 1990's back when y100 was doing sonic sessions, and right next store was 1020Rpm studio's the rehearsal studios ran by Bob, Al and Mike , I used to drive those guys nuts as a kid eating up their cuponoodles and frying peavey amps in the unused rooms or watching baywatch :P It was such a great place to run around.. "Wah-Wah" Ya know, back when philly had a legit music scene with cool music stores and lots of studios..
The Warehouse studio was then called Sonic Studios that's why they were called the Sonic Sessions. I think the new owners were living in the studio at that point. Jazzy Jeff had left by then and he was at the Studio 4 complex which he eventually took over to house his production company called Touch of Jazz.
