In this clip, Joe interviews Bill Carson. Bill is a long time Fender employee and was a close friend with Leo Fender himself. Bill gives his impression of what Leo was really like as a man and a business man. Bill also talks about the impact that the Stratocaster had across the world.
He discusses the big heart that Leo had as he allowed Fender copies to be produced across the world because he knew that it was benefiting those families to do so.
Bill also talks about how Fender sales soared after Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix began to use them.
Bill was Joe were long time friends. Bill was also Joe's Fender Representative when he owned multiple guitar stores in Tennessee and Kentucky
