Given the circumstances and the fact that he’s no stranger to delaying projects a lot of fans didn't even expect an album this year. Talks about DONDA started back in 2020 after cinematographer arthur japha revealed he was working on material for a kanye new and upcoming album. And since then a sea of speculation, leaked songs and listening parties at... stadiums apparently?, hyped up the project to be kanye’s second and best project since his new found faith in God.
