I am still shocked that Kareem Hunt is back in KC, talk about a redemption story come full circle. Let’s see what he does now that he’s home. He was the most likely candidate Hunt knows the offense.
@@tuanas458 He wasn't fired for the incident, he was fired because he lied about what happened when the literal executives asked him about it. Imagine walking into the CEO of your company's office, them asking you about an incident and you lying about it, despite them having video evidence. You are 1000% getting fired. Had he told the truth and owned up to it, he wouldn't have been fired. Now, I don't think we would have beaten NE anyway that year because of how god awful the defense was in 2018.
The dishonesty incident was kind of the last straw ... He has multiple other assault, battery type incidents... Where they were legal or just video evidential ... And the lying was the final nail in his coffin.
@blogintonblakley2708, You don't have to be rich to fire an employee for their dishonesty. Clark Hunt did what he had to do for the best interests of the team. As Kareem learnt from that, and took accountability he should be given another chance.
