Research on West Bengal also - here there is a scheme called 'Laxmi Bhandar' through which she was giving 500 rs every month to all married ladies in the state. Now this has been increased to 1000 rs. The bad part of this is - rich/poor everyone can take this. Even women from very rich families are receiving this.

I remember my father campaigning in early 2010s' for the anna hazare andolan, he told and wanted everyone to vote for AAP, bcoz of its ideology at that time, he spoke highly abt how kejriwal is easily one of best ministers after Modi...but things turned sour after 2016-17, he did do good work in Govt schools but now, My father regrets his decision he made considering how this man turned out to be..

Everyone knows what happened in Delhi during 2021 Covid emergency. There was simply no emergency medical infrastructure to handle sudden increase in patients despite having similar cases in rest of the world. Hospitals were not equipped with inhouse oxygen generator for medical purposes.

its not about freebies it's about how u are able to run the government in terms of financially in a state. AAP has done exceptionally well..The government received more than their target budget which show that its well managed..what they are receiving from people they are giving back. Not like other state for freebies they borrow but no AAP

Arvind Kejriwal is the only politician who has focused on education and healthcare. I refuse to call what people say freebies, I'd rather call it a social security net. 1) Electricity and water: He just gives a basic 200 units of electricity for free. People say it leads to wastage, no it doesn't. If a family uses 150 units a month, yes he may be tempted to consume the whole 200 but there are also families who use 250 units a month and they'd be equally tempted to bring it down to 200. And beyond 400 you have to pay the whole bill so it's not as if you're giving it also to rich people. It's common sensical that rich households would use more electricity and poor households use less. Same goes with 20k litres of water. 2) Healthcare and education: I don't think anyone should disagree with these two services being free of cost. 3) Honestly there's nothing else beyond this. Yes there's free bus rides for women but Delhi has enough fleet of buses unlike Telangana where Congress tried to implement. 4) Infrastructure: You have to understand that the number of flyovers built by AAP govt per year is more than what Shiela Dikshit did because most have this misconception that Dikshit did everything and Kejriwal did nothing. Numbers don't lie. 5) Only 56% of households had piped water connection earlier. Delhi govt has increased the coverage to over 90%. Electricity too is 24x7 now which wasn't the case earlier. 6) Corruption: The party with most raids by agencies is AAP. Yet they barely found anything. Delhi govt has taken incredible steps to reduce corruption like the revolutionary doorstep delivery of services, digitising licence applications and also releasing the political party donors list publicly when it comes to funding to AAP. When it comes to negatives, I have two major problems with AAP govt. 1) They have to be much quicker in cleaning up Yamuna. The work is in progress but relatively slow. Although only 50 km of the 1400 km long Yamuna lies in Delhi. But blind supporters of a party will not question the central govt on this. 2) Delhi govt has to make sure that encroachments are not encouraged. I don't see any proactive measures in clearing encroachments. I know some will talk about Sisodia and Satyendar Jain but it's important to understand why that BJP has trapped them by applying PMLA case, that's coincidentally the only law in which is bail is almost impossible to get. Even if you forget that, can anyone please tell me what the agencies have found after raiding 3000 locations in the country. Literally nothing, go check for yourselves. The same liquor policy word by word has been implemented in Punjab and it increased the state government's revenue by 50%. In my opinion, he has done a great job and I think he deserves about 20-25 seats at least in the Lok Sabha elections because they can be a better opposition than Congress. And when it comes to state elections, it's a no brainer. I don't think the national capital should have a CM like Manoj Tiwari, rather choose an educated person in the form of Kejriwal.

Surely he has black spots on his white wall but still cleaner than BJP and Congress. When we don't have the best choice, we should opt for a better one. For democracy, a robust opposition is essential, and AAP has the potential to fulfill that role.

Freebies are not totally bad. India can do more if the corruption is less. I belive in Delhi it is happening. There is no corruption as per my knowledge. That's why even though they provide freebies, they still a cash surplus state.

We must appreciate @ArvindKejriwal as he is the only leader in india who is focusing on main issue like education , health and basic necessities alongwith honest environment for all the businesses.
