Usually when listening to an album I put a day and time vibe on it. For example, to me, Good Kid Maad City is a 1:00 PM album. But this album is so versatile that I can't really put that on it. It's just like, you can listen to it any day and it'll have the vibe that Kendrick wanted it to have. Truly a timeless album.
Still hard to wrap one's mind around what Kendrick accomplished with this album. 🤯 Keep up the great work! New subscriber, fa sho ✌🙏 You're about to blow up, no doubt! Love the _Illmatic_ video as well...
Kendrick Lamar's music is sendung a message to every black community that they are and can do better than what they are putting out on the streets...all that violence and hate.
Bro which mic x software do you use for making these videos? The quality is perfect! 🤘🏼 I also wanted to ask you if you had any copyright issues because of clips & music you have used or if it was completely ok. Thank buddy! 😁
I listen to music of different genres and this is one of the best 💿 albums ever made! The album is layered and complex that it’s an “eargasmic” experience! I’m sorry some of you don’t have the same appreciation for this great body of work.. ❤
Not my no.1 fav album of all time (still a personal 10/10 tho), but this album to me seems like the most deserved for that title, "The Best Album of All Time". Subjectively though, i would put both "Animals" by Pink Floyd and "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye at the no.1 spot as the best album ever, on a two way tie, above TPAB.
I agree with the marvin gaye take, whats going on is a classic. The thumbnail was to capture more interest, i personally believe illmatic is better then tpab.
Great album and one of Kendrick’s classics but I wouldn’t say it changed the hip hop landscape nor revolutionized music. There were funk, jazz, and soul music before it and I wouldn’t say it is as great or important to music as What’s Going On, Songs In The Key Of Life, Talking Book, Innervisions by Stevie, or There’s A Riot going on by sky and the family Stone. Pet Sounds, Sgt Peppers, Straight Outta Compton, Nirvanas Nevermind and Miles Davis kind of blue changed music. Most Rap Albums of the 90s and 2000s could be traced back to Illmatic, Ready To Die, and Tribes The Low End Theory. 2010s could be traced to Drakes Take Care, Wayne’s Rebirth, Futures discography and GKMC. TPAB, Untitled, and Alright is what was needed during 2015-2016 though and is one of the most personal rap albums whether you agree with Kendrick’s politics and beliefs at the time or not. It deserves its praise simply for what it attempted to accomplish sonically for a rap album I think. Great video. What other albums are you going to do? I’ve enjoyed the illmatic and graduation ones also. (Please say blueprint, tetsuo and Youth, below the heavens lol)
@Abel Nocera is Kendrick not a rapper? And no I listen to rnb, neosoul and pop way more than I listen to rap but I've gone through a huge hip hop phase before where all I did listen to hip hop exclusively
@@famousmwofficial8046 Well if you listen to all these genres then I don’t really see how you wouldn’t like this album. And the reason I said what I said is because this album is a huge fusion of jazz, neo-soul, funk and g-funk which is why I’m confused as to why you dislike this album when you listen to all these genres
