I swear it was after that rib hit that shook up JD5 and he came back in, stood in the pocket and started to sling the rock. It was a totally different guy after that hit, hope you and Logan talk about that. Those throws to Noah were gorgeous

That hit reset his OS or something 😅

They told him to slow down on the running intentionally because he definitely wanted to run when we got near goal line especially the same drive he got injured because that run on 3rd and 4 was atrocious and JD knew it! U can clearly see him pointing like " I could've kept that and scored or at least got the first on the 2 yard line

Jayden is going to get hit, get over it. It is called Tackle Football for a reason.

He played better after he got the wind knocked out of him... obviously you don't want him to get injured but it's tackle football

The defensive line splits are too wide. They gotta fix that

I agree with your takes on Kliff's approach to establishing the run game and Jayden's development in his rookie year. There is so much to this team that is new, it is an incredible task. Like everyone, the pre-snap gaffs were frustrating, but here is where I have some criticism for Kliff. You have a couple false starts deep the red area already and then you call some funky play with B-Rob behind center, like whaaaa? Gimmicking and having a non-qb call the snap was a recipe for another gaff, and that is what we saw. Situationally I would have liked Kliff to go conventional - run straight ahead and on a quick count - we were getting good yardage and you decrease the chance for the pre-snap issues to continue. Make them stop you, and they might, but not go backwards which we kept doing.

I get your opinion on Payne & Allen but after watching the game again, they seem to be doing their job applying pressure while fighting through double teams. Heck, the sack Ferrel got was due to Payne’s pressure. What I’m seeing is that the edges aren’t beating out their 1-on-1s like they should. And in the run game, they seem to be assigned with crashing foreward. It seems as though the LB’s aren’t crashing the line quickly enough to replace them, which is why the middle of the field is wide open. It’s almost like they are hesitating before going, which allows the oline to easily get to the 2nd level on them. 🤷‍♂️

I have one suggestion for you. Add the clips of the situations you're talking about. Preferably all 22 films

Craig, you’re really knit picking. It’s his 2nd game of his career. I swear you’re more critical than complimentary of a rookie. He’s the reason that we’re even in the game against the Giants.

Definitely agree with the RUN game, i was pleasantly surprised, Brob looks great, love how he finishes. Eckler is a great addition with his contrasting run style and uncanny ability to wait for the hole and explode. I feel very comfortable with both backs out of the backfield, good hands. We just might have the best backfield when it’s all said and done if they stay healthy. Toss in a QB that is also a threat and just think if we had a receiver with Sean Jackson speed? What do you want to stop?

Speaking about out defense, thank GOD our offense controlled the ball and we did not have to punt. Their kicker going out may have saved our day.

Is getting your wind knocked out really getting hurt tho?

No it's not and it can literally happen to anybody on the field and they're only out no more than 2 plays

Why the Giants never had a Spy on Jayden Daniels is beyond me? I understand that's one less defender in coverage but JD5s legs are too much of a weapon to allow him to roam with no one spying him.
@antbull0749
@antbull0749 4 дня назад
At least in the redzone on the last drive they did. Daniels threw an incomplete pass to the sideline but you could see that the spy would have gotten outrun easily for 5-10 yards.

Has anybody heard an explanation of what (if anything) caused our O line to keep getting those ridiculous penalties in the red zone every time we got there? Also ,did Jamin Davis even play? I don’t recall seeing him at all.
@brandonelliott6424
@brandonelliott6424 4 дня назад
Jamin was inactive. Not his fault tho, they dressed Johnny Newton and he was on a snap count so they dressed a 5th DL and sat Jamin. He should play this week.

@@brandonelliott6424 Weird though that they dressed their rookie DE and sat Jamin, who played well last week.

@lewgoogle5530 JJB? Not really. I think Jamin was the last DE to make the roster

The drawback to Dan and Joe defense is the attacking style of the line. They want everyone to get up the field, but the RB is running right by you if they do quick hit running plays like the Giants were doing. It's fundamental flaws within their scheme. You have to have a dominant player that gets immediate pressure for it to totally work. But I think Joe needs to call a better game.
