Haryanvi people has no history in Indian history, most influencial region of Indian history has been Ganga Valley region Delhi UP Rajasthan Bihar since ancient times, thats why Haryanvi people in recent times creating culture quicky. I'm a Korean. First of all, I think it is very wrong for some clubs and restaurants in Korea to ban Indians and Pakistanis from entering. However, they later retracted their policy. Of course, there are racist Koreans, but there are also many Koreans who criticize this and do not. Thinking that all Koreans are racist based on a few examples only spreads further hatred. Rather, many Indians are living well in Korea without being discriminated against, there are many Koreans who like India, and there are also K-POP artists from India. If Koreans are really racist, how is this possible? I've seen a lot of comments from Indians making fun of Koreans for being homosexual or having plastic surgery. Would it be correct if I used these few Indians as an example to assume that all Indians are racist? If Indians think all Koreans are racist, believe whatever you want. As a Korean, it is a quite interesting experience to watch this topic on youtube. Most of the information is accurate and i have even learned something new myself. There are a few things I think should have been included: Firstly, it would be better to mention Seotaji and boys, a game changer in the korean pop music scene, instead of HOT. Secondly, the Screen Quota policy, which played a siginificant role in advancing korean film industry. Thanks for sharing your insights.

I learned this from the case study of South Korea: 1. Censorship shouldn't be used as a weapon to suppress the opposition but rather used as a tool to increase quality of media. 2. There are very less countries where people can openly criticize and address the problems in the government, having independent media enhances the spirit of a democracy. 3. Every politician has to choose between greed and development. Those who choose greed are forgotten but, revolutionaries are immortal.

Hey dhruv rathee . I am a student and want you to tell about Kota . I was a student there. Coaching center along with hostel promise a lot of things but none of them are true . Many students go their . Most of them get health issues and return back to their place feeling guilty. Even some people suicide as they get fed of studies. Only some people are able to study and even it is not guaranteed of their selection in Neet or jee.There are many negatives about kota . All of them I cannot mention here . Even I was trapped in their promises but I realised buisness strategy when my health issues started. It was too serious that even life would have been gone. I was 2 months in hospital and they didn't even call me . Even they were not accepting to change for online without any more money. It was father who told the DCP and he helped me out. There are many students and parents who are willing to go to kota or to send their children to kota. Please make next case study on the place kota

There's one more thing that India can learn from South Korea. Though this is not limited to only Korea, many other Asian countries have this characteristic. Koreans/Taiwanese don't honk on the streets. They follow very strict road discipline. They don't talk loudly at public places. They keep their surroundings clean. These very basic things make a huge difference. India is the totally opposite of this. Which has now become our identity. As far as culture is concerned, Indian states have done exemplary work. Punjabi music is a global phenomenon. Tamil and Telugu movies have been a great vehicle of their respective cultures. When I visited Sri Lanka, I met a gentleman at Galle. He asked me where I was from and I was surprised when he said that he watches Malayalam movies and is a huge fan or Prithviraj Sukumar. Last but not the least, Bollywood movies are taking India to the world. Whether we like it or not, Bollywood is the biggest doorway for a foreigner into the Indian cultural realm. The only problem is that our filmmakers must understand their responsibility and make films sensibly.

This is so very true! I am a heavy, diversified movie watcher. I noticed this a long time ago, korean movie was silently taking over international people by its romantic/heart breaking movies since early 2000. Backing up with amazing horror movies too. On the other side, as a dancer, i noticed, lots of korean performers became popular esp in the field of bboying. Boys over flowers was the only one that got more popularity through it's Kdrama remake (thanks to Lee Minho) but the original Japanese anime City Hunter got pretty famous in US, to the point that it's Hollywood remake was made which is famous even in India (thanks to Jackie Chan, man's films always hit Indian audiences). Tho I still prefer animes over Kdramas, I agree Kdramas do have wide range of varieties in them

Wow, I am shocked to find that based on the vast majority of comments here, most Indian youtubers' assessments about K-culture are full of blind hatred, negativities, and jealousy just like those of Chinese and Japanese. I don't think it's unfair or something because Koreans mostly view things in India negatively. But the difference is most of the nations share the similar type and level of negative views about India while most countries except Chinese and Japanese praise and positively view Korean culture instead of hating or being jealous about it.

Korea succeeded because they changed their mindset from radical nationalism, conservatism to being open minded, liberal, to be research oriented towards other countries but being original, korea is like an artist which does get inspiration but creates an original by being true to their strengths and understanding. i am from Punjab and its very heart wrenching for us to see that our regional cinema is doing great work not only financially but also in cultural P.O.V but either they don’t get enough screens or they don’t get permission to release their content becoz of the monopoly of these big giants. centre and Government should do something to promote not only our regional cinema but also every state’s cinema so that they can survive in future.

Great video Dhruv. Korean dramas, movies and bands today are popular globally. Korea has really been successful in making the best of its talent and culture. Any nation wanting to become developed shouldn't ignore the potential of films, media, music and even sports. And to harvest the true potential in these areas, it's important to read the environment and people. Hollywood has played an undeniable part in increasing the soft-power of US. A nation truely can only grow when someone truly caring takes the lead. In India where crony capitalism is thriving and big businesses get projects in return for handsome donations, one wonders if true development on a global scale is really possible. Chaebols were restricted for nation's benefit in Korea. Can the same happen in India where politicians shake hands with big businesses for personal benefits?
