When I went to take my citizenship, I was very much made aware of the bad attitude of the government workers in the process. It truly was an eye opening experience that if the development of the country can only happen after making the rule for firing government employee on the case of misbehavior.

There is only 1 problem with waiting period. What should a lady do for 7 years? No job, no property, no business, no bank account…. Just stay at home? Will a educated woman be okay with it? Furthermore, if there is an accident and her husband dies… what will happen now? She has left her previous citizenship, does not have new one, has no job, property, bank account, no husband. Left just like that!
