That made me think of spanish... we have the same 'Halla b3ad shwey' : 'Ahora más tarde!' 😍
@antonyferrober554
@antonyferrober554 5 лет назад
Mexican Spanish «ahorita» means that exactly. If someone says «ahorita» they mean «halla b3ad shwey». "Little now"/"humble now" can mean in a few seconds, minutes, hours, days or just until they feel like it. Or so long in time, both people forget about it.

Hahahha in Dutch too! When someone says to me on WhatsApp; where r u? i’ll be like: I am coming ‘nu zo’ which literally means: now later. With that I actually mean; ‘when I am finished with what I am doing right now which I don’t know How long it will take, I will come to you’ In Holland most people are really strict on time, I have always been like this so I think I was born in the wrong country😂😂 Also I lived now this and last year in Spain, where I finally felt understood!! Viva españaaa🇪🇸🇪🇸

Is this why we lebanese always round to the nearest 5 mins? A: What time is it? B *Looks at the watch; it reads **2:33* B: It’s 2:35(or)It’s 2:30 Also I don’t know if it’s just my mom, but when she’s in a rush to get me to do something she’ll always tell the time wrong, for example when she wants to get out of bed she’d tell me “saret se3a 8” when in fact the time is between 7:30 and 7:45 Hence why I think the “hala2/ba3d shwey” argument originates from
